Horrible experience horrible service horrible support from Room Picks - STAY AWAY
When we checked in the AC was not working in one room. The property was not like the pictures- dirty, ceiling falling down by the elevators, rooms didn’t match the pictures. Bathrooms were old and rusted. We were harassed by the vacations rental people to buy show tickets and then called names when we said no. One room had shredded sheets, white powder covering the bathroom counter and table in the room. There was a dried substance in the sink with a hair stuck in it. The room had obviously not been cleaned. The towel rack was hanging from the wall. The front desk was called. The towel rack and AC was fixed but the room was not cleaned. People were smoking in the room next door. We called to complain. We were told there was nothing they could do. We went down to the desk to complain again - we have kids with asthma with us. Again, nothing they can do other than charge those people a smoking fee. They could only move us to a King room. This doesn’t work with 4 people. That night there was a fight outside of our door that continued into another room nearby and went on for over an hour. Security never came up despite being called. We checked out 7 nights early because of the disgusting room conditions and lack of care and help from the property. Throughout these two days we were in touch with VRBO/Room Picks who lists the property. We were told they could not do anything to help. Still waiting on confirmation of a refund for our unused nights 1 week later. Never again VRBO!
