I did not want to leave! From the beautiful views to the stunning home. It had everything for us...every supply you could need, immaculate, , comfortable beds and furniture. We often travel in the fall, but this place makes me want to visit in the summer so we can play in the beautiful pond. can play in thethe fall, but this
My friends and I do an ice fishing trip each winter. We found this place and had a great time. It's a beautiful home and we even managed to catch a couple fish.
My family had a wonderful stay. If you are putting together a list of potential spots like I did, just stop and book this one. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. The kids loved swimming and kayaking on the pond. Close enough to head up to Greenville for the day, but away from the crowds.
Everything about this home was set up for a wonderful stay. Roomy, clean, well stocked and on quiet Piper Pond. We should have booked a longer stay, next time!
Exactly as listed! Made for a perfect ice fishing weekend, with plenty of amenities. Beautiful camp. Pack your clothes and food and the rest is there! Fishing in the pond was very good as well. Will definitely be back!
Growing up in Maine and being around a lake community, I have high standards. Piper Pond most definitely measured up. The house was immaculate and had AIR CONDITIONING. I appreciated having all the cabinets labeled so I didn't have to spend hours searching for a can opener. The bathrooms were beautiful, with excellent water pressure. I didn't watch tv, but it was placed perfectly, and the furniture was very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning, I only wish the chairs sat up higher so I could see over the railing. LOL. The lake was clean and easily accessible with the dock and stairs into the water. I would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely amazingly beautiful place. Anything and everything you might think you need we found ther
There was not one thing that I can think that would deserve a negative comment of any kind. Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with and communication with excellent. The house, amenities, water, and all the extras that go with it we're absolutely fabulous
The property has - everything. The pond is outstanding, the water is clean and refreshing. The house is very well appointed, and is plenty big enough for a family trip.
Katherine is a wonderful host. She was responsive if we had any questions, and made the entire process effortless.
All of the watercraft were in great shape, with plenty of life jackets and oars for everyone - including a kid sized kayak.
The house easily sleeps 10 people if needed, our smaller group was able to spend family time together - or find a quiet place for a rest - without any difficulty. The kitchen is ultra-modern. (Wait until you see the range - it’s fabulous).
If you’re a star gazer, you will not find better skies than Abbot, Maine. The Milky way was magnificent.
Top all of that off with a healthy serving of Maine hospitality, and you won’t find a better vacation spot for a mid-sized group.
We look forward to an opportunity to stay again in the future.
Rented for a family gathering to celebrate an early Thanksgiving, everyone raved how much room, lots of the comforts of home, and overall a beautiful space. Looking forward to another stay next year!
