New Cabin and 150' of Private Kenai Riverfront fishing.
Just finished this New Cabin in early July(2021). Location, Location, Location! Beautiful River front lot located on the "swift" water section of the Kenai River(RM25), known for the Best Sockeye fishing in the World! Many other species of fish including the King and Silver Salmon as well as Trophy Trout and Dolly Varden. Just walk out the front door less than a 100' and step onto aluminum fishing docks, or natural grassy banks, to bring in the Big ones. UPDATE: 2022 we have a 10'x12' fish processing shed available for our guests to use. It has 3 freezers, countertop with sink and 2 sealers for your fish.

Cabin was clean, had everything we needed and so close to the river, weather was perfect when we stayed during the last week of August, but the fishing had slowed down, wish we came a few weeks earlier.
Had 3-days to experience salmon fishing and this cabin was perfect for my family. Perfectly set up for fishing and processing. Beautiful setting, well equipped cabin.
I would buy this property if I could and I would not change anything!! Excellent setup for fishing, cleaning and processing! Owner is great to work with and a really nice guy! We will be staying here again.
Mark’s cabin was perfect for our Alaskan adventure. Clean, quiet, close enough but away from the crowds. Communication was excellent, fishing was great. Would highly recommend!
WOW!! This was an incredible home to stay at. We got 192 lbs of Sockeye Salmon. The owner was amazing to work with and we can't wait to go back next year. Thank you so much!!
From start to finish this stay was amazing! The fishing was great and dealing with Mark was as well. He was very helpful and really cares about his guests. We look forward to our next stay at this property!
Mark’s cabin was clean, comfortable and conveniently located close to town. Plenty of room on the dock for our family of four to fish and relax. The sockeye fishing was excellent and the processing shed
This place is amazing. It has everything you could want for an Alaskan home: blackout shades, fishing poles, well stocked kitchen, fire pit, etc. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Mark, the host, was super responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be looking this place up again when we come back.
Property was everything it was advertised to be and more. Words can’t do it justice. Outstanding and attentive host who promptly responded to any inquiries and offered helpful fishing advice. Would and will stay again provided the opportunity.
Beautiful property right on the Kenai River had all the comforts of home even a separate area for cleaning our fish and freezers to put them in. Would definitely recommend this amazing place. The fishing was awesome! We will be back!
The cabin is clean and well appointed. Ideal location for fishing and day trips. Close to town but not too close. The owner provided fishing tackle so fishing off the docks was so easy. Marc was easily reached to answer questions and make recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our stay was great. The property is well kept and the owner, Mark, is continuously improving it. Fast Wi-Fi. Everything is basically brand new. Saw eagles and even a harbor seal chasing after the spawned out salmon in the river.
Beautiful view of the Kenai River!!! Great access to river, no stairs!!!! Awesome cabin also. We had a great time staying here!!! Had a campfire and just relaxed. Fished for the first time on the Kenai. Would definately stay here again. Owner is available to answer questions anytime. Great place. Thank You, Linda Tillamook, Or
This property and cabin on the Kenai River is even better than the listing shows. What a great place and a very responsive owner when I messaged him he called within minutes and helped me out. If you are visiting Alaska on the Kenai peninsula this is the property you want to rent even if you are not fishing. Very peaceful quiet location on the water and great fishing dock. Thank you Mark.
Great spot with good communication and location.
Only gave it 4 stars because the listing says checkout at 12. We were rushed out at 11. Otherwise a great rental in great location.
This was an incredible place to stay. The cabin has everything you need - including a few fishing poles and an awesome fish processing out building with supplies and freezers. The owner is incredibly nice and excellent communication. The cabin is gorgeous, extremely clean, comfortable beds and all the supplies you need for a great trip. The location is quiet, wonderful firepit and more wood than you will need for fires every night. We can't wait to come back again!!
Thank you for the best VRBO we've ever stayed in!!

This property truly is a hidden gem! Close enough to town but far enough away to get some R&R. Fishing set up is fantastic! We fished every day and our kids did too. The front porch has great chairs, a bbq and it’s covered which is so nice if it rains. The cabin itself is beautifully done with new appliances, wood finishing and clean clean clean which is such a plus! Great set up for a couple or family with two separate sleeping areas. Last but not least, the communication from Mark the owner was top notch! Overall, we highly recommend this VRBO and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Our first impression of the property was the cleanliness and attention to maintaining the natural beauty of the property. From the outside the home is very well maintained and that translated directly to the clean organized condition on the inside. The property is very well setup to provide a complete fishing experience, the elevated platforms along the bank are well placed and easy to move around on. The outside cleaning station is well placed and very well maintained. There is also an onsite processing building where we were able to vacuum seal our catch as well as freeze it until we were ready to leave. Overall I would highly recommend this property as a place to stay as we plan on staying here again in the future.
*communication from Mark was also very clear and thorough. He made us feel very welcomed, and was willing to share the beauty of the Kenai with us. Mark answered the few questions we had gave solid fishing information/references when we asked.

Hi, I'm Mark Sharer the owner of SKRP. I have been an avid outdoorsman my whole life, beginning with my father at a early age. I was so lucky to have a father that took me and my 2 brothers, hunting, fishing, pack trips and other outdoor adventures. Coming to Alaska fell right into my love for the outdoors, it grew on me like an addiction. Alaska is truly the LAST frontier. I have since brought my daughter up for the last 3 or 4 years, and she as well has fell in love with the River. I hope all that stays at my place can Pass On that feeling you get to your next generation ,while in the outdoors!
Why they chose this property
I have rented a few places near and on the Kenai River, prior to purchasing this piece of property, and the beauty of this property, is that it has a level entry to the river, there is not 30 stairs you have to walk up and down each time you want to fish the river, like many other lodges on the river. This area of the river is also known for its popularity of a great place to catch fish.
What makes this property unique
I also have a 10'x12' processing room that has 3 freezers a nice countertop with sink and 2 sealers, one a chamber sealer, the other a vacuum sealer. This saves a bunch, not having to take and pay to have your fish processed. I do have vacuum bags onsite as well, but ask that you keep track of the amount you use on a honor system. Bags are about .25ea.
