Casa Garvey is a beautiful casita in an idyllic setting. Twelve minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, both far enough yet near enough to the city to be just perfect, set in an attractive development of the Tesuque foothills two miles above Tesuque Village, ten minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Across from the entrance to the development is the Four Seasons Luxury Resort, Rancho Encantado. The casita has the charm of the classic Santa Fe style, with transformed kitchen and baths. It's wonderfully comfortable in all seasons, with delightful patios to enjoy in the warmer months and Kiva coziness when the weather turns cooler. Wonderful stay!

The unit was beautifully appointed in every way - new appliances, dishware, utensils, comfy beds, TVs, washer-dryer. Loved the location which was 15 minutes from the Plaza but in a pristine, quiet setting. Tim was great to communicate with from reservations until the hour we left the unit. We look forward to our next Santa Fe visit and hopefully staying here again. Thanks Tim!

The property is just as advertised and pictured on the VRBO website. We stayed three nights. Easy access to Santa Fe square. Do go to the nearby Tesuque village market just down from the property.

Quiet Retreat in Beautiful New Mexico

If you are looking for a quite location to relax and serve as a base for exploring New Mexico, look no further. The home is a short drive north of Santa Fe so you get the convenience of town along with the peaceful, natural beauty of the area. The home fits the description perfectly and has a well appointed kitchen, heated bathroom floors, fireplaces, and whirlpool. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

Perfect place for Santa Fe visit

Perfect blend of quiet and city access

We did a family Thanksgiving with our college age children and the property worked perfectly. We needed to check in a day early to avoid bad travel weather and the hosts were more than accommodating. We enjoyed the quiet of the property and the simple access to Santa Fe and its attractions. The kitchen was outfitted very well and fully supported a Thanksgiving meal. We will definitely return should we visit Santa Fe again.

Great location and residence

Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, this location is convenient to town but feels like you're far into the countryside. Love the house, the patio, the kitchen, the living areas, etc. We will visit again.

Upscale Santa Fe Resort Rental

Our hosts communication was outstanding from the check-in process, to the onsite amenities, places to visit and checklist of the things to be done before leaving. This is a great place to visit and just relax that is about 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, with beautiful Mountain views. The rental was beautiful and exactly as described. My family hopes to return on our next visit to Santa Fe.

Excellent experience

My husband and I, and 2 friends stayed at this property. It was our second visit, but the first time for our friends. The entire experience was great. Mesa Encantado “San Felipe” is a truly wonderful retreat just outside of Santa Fe. We had easy access to the city and the many nearby natural wonders (hikes, national monuments). And when we returned to the house, we were able relax either in the beautiful and comfortably appointed house or at the nearby pool. A great place in a great place.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Santa Fe

We came out to Santa Fe for some skiing and sightseeing. We travel a lot and all I can say is that this was probably the best place we've ever stayed at. The home is in a beautiful and peaceful location. The home itself was beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. Communication with owner was perfect. Without a doubt we'd enthusiastically recommend it to everyone. We'd definitely stay here again next visit!

Love to travel and really appreciate a well appointed space. If you aren't using our place and we are vacationing its either here or in Utah Skiing. Our primary residence is Dallas Texas where Karen is in healthcare and Tim designs and builds luxury homes.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We rented this unit in November of 2020 and fell in love with the unit and the area. Very convenient from either Santa Fe or Albuquerque airports to fly and an easy drive from surrounding states .

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

A previous owner did a complete remodel to what was a good floorplan and made it even better for short stays . The bathrooms are larger and now have heated floors as well as baseboard heaters. We use the home frequently and are constantly looking to improve it. We have quite a few regular guests that we see once or twice every year and really enjoy the communication with them. After booking, I’m very easy to get a hold of by telephone or email. Happy to answer questions about the unit or the area.
