Lovely Weekend Getaway

We were in the area for a competition and stayed for the weekend. Quiet area directly on the lake. Our family of 7 had plenty of room. We enjoyed the game room and the homes amenities. Very relaxing!

Pre Christmas R and R

When I am planning a weekend getaway, I always look for places on a lake or is secluded woods. This property fit all of my criteria. We did a four town Christmas trip with our final stop in Dahlonega for all of the festivities there. Afterwards, we came back to the house and hung out in the peace and tranquility the house was blessed with. Although there were lots of things we could have done at the house, we took advantage of catching up with family and relaxing. Thanks Karla for allowing us into your home for the weekend...

Comfortable Family House

The two levels of the house offered the privacy our two families needed. It was very clean, spacious, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed sitting on top of the boat dock. I haven't been to any Georgia lakes before so didn't expect the water to be quite so muddy but enjoyed the use of the canoes.

Comfortable Lake House

My family and I liked this lake house, for the most part. It was comfortable and had enough room for everyone to sleep. The host, Karla, welcomed our suggestions to make it even more comfortable for the next guests. There was no Keurig coffee machine as the pictures show, but the Ninja coffee machine worked just fine. There were a lot of steps to get to the dock. Fortunately for me, there was a porch swing about half way up to take a breather. The game room, unfortunately smelled moldy, so I feared for our health and we didn't use it as much as we wanted. There were a lot of spiders and webs at the dock, so we were unable to get to the second level. I recommend bringing extra towels if you don't want to wash them every day. Also, I recommend bringing laundry detergent. There were enough towels for one day, for 7 people. The cove and the neighborhood was very quiet. We brought a lot of water sports/gear and the owners also provide two canoes for the guests to use. Thanks to the lake house owners and by God's grace, we made good memories.

Lake Lanier

House was very roomy. Lots of room inside and child friendly. Outside not great for small children. It was very steep down to water.

Perfectly peaceful

The peace and quiet is just what the doctor ordered. What an amazing getaway! The home is clean, spacious, and beautiful. The cove is a perfect place to unwind. The host was always available and accommodating. The community is friendly and child friendly. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much!

Just perfect

This property was great for our family needs. We were able to make and serve Thanksgiving for my parents, my sisters and our teenage kids. Karla made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely rent again!!

Great house at the top of Lanier

Was a great stay at Karla’s house on Lake Lanier. North part of Lanier has shallow water but was a very quiet, well-kept house

Couple days with my boys

This is a great space for either a large family or 2 seperate groups. Lots of space, game room is a nice amenity, beds are comfortable. Lots of room for kids and adults

Wonderful

My family enjoyed the time there very much. It was much bigger than expected. It was very clean and lots of things to do rain or shine. Everyone said they would love to come back. Thank you Karla for being so prepared for us, accessible and for making our family vacation from Tucson so enjoyable.

Great getaway

Wonderful long weekend filled with canoeing, hiking and reading a book on the porch. The host was very responsive to questions throughout the rental process. The home provides comfortable furnishings, plenty of room and so many family activities.

Christmas family visit

We wanted a vacation feel while visiting family in the area- our stay was perfectl Peaceful, lots of levels, decks, room for games and puzzles, book reading, movie night, fire pit, lake sunset, stars. We were able to head into Mall of Georgia for last minute shopping & treats. Would definitely consider coming back in summer to use the lake!

Great setup for a group

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was exceptionally responsive with great customer service on a question. The house is clean and well stocked. I stayed with friends for a girls trip, but would love to bring my family back in the summer. I recommend this location!

Didnt want to leave

Everything was just as pictured and so clean. We loved the game room and how the owner answered every text I sent. We are looking to rent again possible this summer for a week or more.
