LO QUE VES, ES LO QUE TIENES !! MUCHO MUCHO MÁS. A SOLO 3 MILLAS DEL PARQUE NACIONAL GLACIAR ENTRADA AL OESTE. El lago es ideal para nadar esa tarde, el agua está limpia y clara. O puede disfrutar de un crucero alrededor del lago en la canoa o en kayak de 2 hombres o en las tablas de remo, todas las cuales se proporcionan. O tal vez pesque en el muelle o vuele en el río a solo 2 millas de distancia. Con su equipo de pesca todo incluido. La casa ofrece hermosas vistas del lago desde casi todas las habitaciones. Si está a punto de cocinar la cocina no le falta nada, puede estar seguro de que la ropa de cama es de primera categoría. Esta es nuestra casa de verano personal, por lo tanto, solo permitimos algunas reservas durante la temporada de verano. Ocupación máxima 6 personas en cualquier momento.

a great break from texas heat

We loved the mountains, cool air and water. A nice break from the heat to see the beautiful surroundings our nation has to offer. So glad we preserve national parks and surrounding areas.

Glacier family trip

We had a great time on our trip and this property was the perfect place for us to stay. it really added to our experience of being in Montana and Glacier National Park. it provided us with lots of space and a secluded place to stay. The lake was warm and was a great place for us to start our days and be able to unwind in the evening.

West Glacier Lake House

Incredible property with a great location to Glacier National Park. The owners were great and the house was incredibly well kept. In addition to the house, the owners also provided a canoe, kayak, paddle boards, hiking sticks, fishing rods, bear spray, backpacks and pretty much anything else needed for a vacation in the mountains. Highly recommended.

Lovely lakeside stay near Glacier

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property. The proximity to Glacier National Park was important, but it also was a site anyone would enjoy spending time at. Jette and Bill were gracious and helpful hosts who shared lots of tips and local info.

Beautiful lake front cabin

This cabin is well maintained and fully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Jette and Bill were fabulous Hosts! The views from The dock are spectacular. Home is located just minutes from Apgar Visitor center. As with older homes, a few oddities (like unexpected steps , low ceiling entering some kitchen eating area and low shower heads) but the place is well maintained and charming. Would absolutely go again!

A week on Lake Five

We had a great time staying at the home on Lake Five. We fished and caught our fair share of trout and walleye. Kayaking and canoeing were fun for all of us. Best of all Glacier NP was a short 8 minute drive. Even though the weather was wet and wild for the first day and evening, there is still much to do and see in the park. A great time had by all !!!

House on Lake 5

The property owners manage the home, and do a great job with communication. We loved the deck on the water and even had a moose swim by! The house is only a few minutes from the West Entrance of GNP.

Private home on beautiful lake

Historic home on Lake Five well maintained by owners. Functional kitchen with nice cookware and spices, large living room and master suite. Well stocked with outdoor gear and guides. Beautiful yard, deck and dock. Canoe, kayak and fishing poles were much appreciated. Hosts were wonderful. Will return.

Great location near Glacier National Park

On a beautiful little lake. House was very clean and owners were very easy to reach and helpful. Kitchen was very well equiped with everything needed. Had just about every kitchen pot and pan and kitchen tool we would ever need. A kayak anc canoe were there for us to use. Comfortable beds. This house was perfect for our week stay with 3 couples. Very happy with this rental!

Wonderful Lakeview House Next to Glacier National Park

This is an amazing house fully equipped with canoe, kayak, paddle board, life jackets, fishing rods, backpacks, picnic chairs, Bear spay - anything you need for hiking, enjoying the lake and fishing. Our teenage boys loved the lake. Glacier National Park West Entrance is 5 min. Kitchen is well stocked. Truly a home away from home! Jette and Bill are most wonderful and helpful hosts.

Perfect vacation!!

We were greeted by our hosts upon our arrival and immediately felt welcomed. We were provided a tour of the property and house with encouragement to contact the hosts if we needed anything at all. Our family of 5 settled in quickly and found the home charming and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, ample supply of towels were available, and a everything you would need in the well outfitted kitchen. Besides the kitchen, there was a grill and griddle provided that was also put to good use. Being only minutes from the West entrance of Glacier National Park was very convenient. The hosts had coolers, umbrellas, walking sticks and bear spray available if needed. When not at the park, we were able to enjoy canoeing on the beautiful lake. We all agreed we would love to return to this beautiful spot.

Perfect home away from home

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house for our family vacation. Communication with Jette was amazing. Everything you need is there for you to use! Backpacks, water bottles, fishing gear, canoe, SUPB, kayak, maps, maps, and maps!! Not having AC was not an issue at all since Jette showed us which windows to open at night and close in the morning so the house stays nice and cool. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen is there. Being on the lake was amazing And only a 5 min drive to the West Entrance to GNP. I’ll be back!!

Lake Five Retreat

Beautiful house on the lake! The deck and dock are amazing. We loved the kayaking, paddle boarding and canoe for fishing. Minutes from West Glacier Entrance. The house had everything you could need, except air conditioning! We knew that going in and weren’t worried, but we stayed during a very warm week. Sleeping in the house at night was very uncomfortable! Bill and Jette were very nice and obviously take great pride in there home. They greeted us on arrival and even texted to ask if we were lost when we didn’t arrive by 4:00. It was a little strange when they came to water during our stay; however, they did ask us what time was most convenient. We were unclear as to whether they would be going inside the house while our belongings were there?? Overall, a good stay and would recommend.

Family adventure base location

We had a wonderful stay at this location. So close to the park with a wonderful lake to enjoy boating on. It was peaceful, beautiful and provided us with absolutely everything we needed!!

Little piece of paradise

The property is beautiful and offers a great amount of privacy. The owners are great at communication and want you to have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Ask before buy or pack anything! We were surprised by how much they had - bear spray, coolers, water bottles, paper plates, anything that you could need in the kitchen.

Perfect location!

Had a wonderful time in West Glacier! Bill and Jette are very sweet hosts. Their house is very cozy and has all the furnishings you need for your stay. Spend time relaxing on the dock, paddling in the kayak/canoe/paddle board, or swimming in the lake while taking in the breath taking views!

Incredible Hosts!

This place is a hidden gem. Literally! It's a bit hard to find the first time you drive here. But once you find it, you'll love it. The house is secluded and has private lake access. We ate dinner on the lake deck every night. It's very quiet and private... except for the others that are enjoying the lake (boating, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.). But what was even better than the property, were the hosts. Jette and Bill greeted us when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the house, facilities and recommendations during our stay. They didn't bug us while we stayed there, but gave us their direct contact information in case we had any questions. When we left, they came out to ensure we had a good trip and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. We loved staying here and would come back again.

Beautiful!

The setting and location can't be beat if you have plans in the West part of Glacier! The home was well stocked with nearly everything you could want! The grounds and gardens were lovely as well! We really enjoyed our stay and have very few minor things we would change. It was tough not having strong cell and internet service for consistent communicating with Bill and Jette. But they did check in with us every few days or so which was nice. Including buying and delivering a coffeemaker! Most homes we have rented have things like tin foil and saran wrap- they didn't- but that was something we could easily get in town. The ice maker also didn't work in the fridge- but there were plenty of places to purchase ice also. We also had a major car breakdown while we were there and had to rent a car so 6 people could get around Glacier. Bill and Jette were gracious during that frustrating situation. (we weren't even sure we'd make it home to Minnesota!!). So again- mostly amazingly positive experience and stay!

Very nice home, plenty of room and extremely clean

The owners of this property worked very hard to make everything very pleasing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the house was very clean and very well stocked!
