NUESTRA CASA DE PLAYA 'Helen's Hideaway' es un escenario maravilloso para unas vacaciones familiares o de amigos. Esta es una cabaña de playa sencilla y bien mantenida, ubicada en la bahía de Tomales. Helen's es nuestra cabaña familiar que disfrutamos compartiendo para usted.

¡TENEMOS UN NUEVO MUELLE - reconstruido y listo para pescar o simplemente contemplar la belleza de la bahía!

NUESTRO JARDÍN DELANTERO ESTÁ RODEADO DE UNA CERCA SEGURA, un lugar encantador y privado para leer el periódico de la mañana o navegar por la web. Una parrilla de carbón le invita a asar pescado local, verduras frescas de Point Reyes o un buen pedazo de carne local.

NUESTRO ACCESO A INTERNET ES EXCELENTE Y NUESTRA TV DE PANTALLA PLANA con Sony Entertainment Network, Netflix y la conexión para su computadora portátil (PC) pueden conectarlo con el mundo exterior.

El centro de esta cabaña es una gran sala de estar con ventanas de piso a techo con vistas a la bahía de Tomales. Puede experimentar la Bahía desde cualquier lugar en el primer piso. Es un gran lugar para observar la vida silvestre mientras disfruta de una comida íntima o familiar, lee una novela frente al fuego o simplemente se sienta y se relaja.

La casa tiene un dormitorio principal en la planta baja con un baño contiguo con ducha. Arriba tiene 2 dormitorios, uno con cama de matrimonio y otro con dos camas individuales. Hay un baño en el segundo piso, con bañera y ducha fija.

La casa está rodeada por una terraza y tiene un muelle que se extiende hacia la bahía. Es un lugar perfecto para ver la puesta de sol, tomar una copa de vino y simplemente disfrutar de la felicidad de la hermosa bahía de Tomales.

La casa está a poca distancia del restaurante de mariscos Tony's, la tienda Marshall, el kayak y las ostras de Hog Island. Disfrute de excursiones de un día a Point Reyes Seashore, el río Ruso, bodegas locales, observación de ballenas, etc. ¡Estamos muy bien ubicados para aprovechar todo lo que West Marin tiene para ofrecer!

Si no está preparado para conducir, es un gran lugar para sentarse frente a un fuego rugiente con amigos y seres queridos. Tenemos una colección de DVD y videos antiguos y una biblioteca de bolsillo. Si le gusta pescar, puede lanzar una línea desde la cubierta o el muelle. Cavar almejas debajo de la casa es otra actividad de la tarde. Pequeña barbacoa de carbón disponible para cocinar su captura!

Esta no es una casa elegante, sino cómoda, familiar y situada en medio de una belleza espectacular. Si buscas "hotel perfecto", esta no es la casa para ti. Lo invitamos a compartir nuestro espacio familiar y vivir en él como si fuera su propio hogar.

It's a Gem!

What a wonderful place this is! We feel so lucky to been able to stay in this family home, with windows and a deck right on the water. The down-to-earth, relaxed vibe was family-friendly and fun. It had all the things we needed in the kitchen and it didn't have the dumb trappings of other short-term rentals we've stayed-- yay! Communication with the hosts was easy, prompt, and friendly. Stay here!

Lovely Cottage on the Bay

Very cozy and comfortable house right in the heart of oyster/seafood heaven in Marshall! Great deck for outdoor living. Well equipped kitchen. Hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We fished right off the dock and caught sharks and bat rays., crabs, perch fush and such. Amazing time.

Nice stay in heart of Marshall

Great location near many of the great restaurants in Marshall, easy to travel to neighboring towns as well. Clean, amazing views, as pictured in property photos. Would definitely consider staying here again when visiting.

perfect spot

This home was right over the water. We fished, ate oysters and mussels. The house is well maintained and it was a surprise how well stocked the pantry and household necessities were. We will be back as soon as we can.

Amazing Views

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. Our goal was to 'get away from it all' and 'eat lots of seafood'. We did just that! The house was perfect! Comfy couches and bed and that view never gets old! I highly recommend Hog Island, Tony's Seafood and Nick's Cove for food. If you like hiking, The Tule Elk Trail is absolutely beautiful and full of wildlife.

Wonderful Scene on Tomales Bay

Great house for couple and friends. Well-stocked Host available and helpful. This is our third time in the Tomales/Bay/ Marshall area and it is a perfect getaway. We wanted to stay longer.

I absolutely loved this place! The view and homy atmosphere made it a lovely stay.

Although I was working at a camp (Walker Creek Music Camp) for much of my stay, each night and morning I got to enjoy a comfortable, clean place with anything I needed. The bed I slept in was unexpectedly comfortable. I have to say I was a little sad to leave! I plan on being back though.

Magical location!

It was such a treat to stay in one of the iconic over-the-water homes in Marshall. A magical experience that you can’t find elsewhere! Meg, the property manager, fulfilled all of our needs. Communication was seemless! And the huge decks and dock highlighted the unique beauty of Tomales Bay!

This is a great location on the bay, great wildlife viewing, fishing, crabbing, birding. Home is "nice rustic" with all you need to just relax & appreciate the view.

Wonderful rental in amazing setting

The four of us celebrated a special occasion by renting this wonderful property on the water in Marshall. We enjoyed all the beautiful local scenery and fantastic variety of restaurant choices. We had a minor issue we needed help with and resolved it quickly with the property manager. Looking forward to staying here again

Great Atmosphere

What a nice relaxing weekend. Views of the water, marine life and sunset were amazing. House was small but perfect for us. Decor was old but very clean and comfortable. Dock and back porch over the water were great for the kids to crab and fish. There are no grocery stores in town and ask about pots and pans as large ones were not available for large dinners. Overall an amazing and relaxing stay and amazing amazing views. We will definitely be back.

Quaint and Cozy

If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, this is the location for you. The stay is not going to be fancy, but the views and cozy cottage are going to soothe your soul. Each morning drinking, french pressed coffee on the deck was just what we needed. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Hidden gem in the city of Marshall

Beautiful views of the bay from the windows of the property. It was a few blocks down from Hog Island & wonderful hiking spots. Recommended.

Great family gathering place

This was our second stay at Helen's Hideaway and it was every bit as magical as our first. I went for two weeks and my five children came at various times for short stays. We played games, fished off the dock, ate the amazing local oysters and fish often. We will come next year, I hope.

Can’t beat this location

Marshall is my happy place. Tomales Bay is so beautiful. You can’t beat the view and tranquillity from Helen’s Hideaway. We brought our kayak and crabbed and fished and relaxed. The house has everything you need and would love to come back. We already miss it and all the great seafood nearby!

Tranquil Oasis!

This place was absolutely charming! Upon arriving, the directions were clear and easy to access the lockbox. The bedrooms are decently sized, kitchen was very cute with all the essentials and the living space was comfortable and inviting. We woke to the sounds of the bay every morning and it was so peaceful as we enjoyed morning coffees with a dash of Swiss Miss on the pier. Definitely stay here if you can!

This was such a perfect get away, the house was so nice and comfortable, everything we could have asked for, the view from inside and the deck were great, private and so quiet, we didn’t want to leave. We hope to stay here again in the future.

This house was owned by our mother who bought it as a family getaway. All of our family has spent weekends and vacations here. We want to share it with you because it a place that means so much to us. We hope you and your loved ones enjoy it as much as we do.

This is one of the most pristine locations in the Bay Area. Though it is not far from San Francisco and the East Bay, you very quickly feel you are in 'the country', away from the fast pace of city life. Our mother bought this house as a family getaway and it certainly has been that for our family over these many years.

This is house is great for a weekend away with a friend or for a family vacation. Located right on Tomales Bay, you find yourself in one of the most pristine seaside locations in California. It's just a great place to escape the busy-ness of every day life and regroup! We are also walking distance to Hog Island Oyster Bar and the Marshall Store Oyster Bar. To the north you can go to Nick's for dinner. To the south, you find the Marshall Store for oysters, or Tony's (as soon as it is renovated!) then Point Reyes Station restaurants, Olema or Inverness are all close by.
