This home has been freshly painted with lively colors and offers a large eat in kitchen, grill, outdoor table, and fire pit overlooking Lake Ontario. Relax while watching the lake, the boats, kayaks, the wildlife (ducks, geese, swans) go by as you plan your adventures in this beautiful corner of New York State.

Fantastic property

This is a nice place sitting right on the lake. Property was clean and well maintained, we didnt do any cooking but the kitchen had the basics. Full size W/D made it easy to come home without a stack of dirty laundry. Owner communication was very clear and timely. Off the beaten path and not a lot of people, which is our preference. an hour to Niagara Falls and an hour to Letchfield State Park, which is fantastic. We like the property so much, we booked it again next year.

The lakefront makes this property. Clean and has everything you need. House needs a little updating. Not much in to do in area. Overall was a chance to be with family.

Lakefront Perfection

The cottage was wonderful. Spotless and as advertised and more. Nice patio right on the lake. With great views. Spotless clean. Well equipped. Owners were around, friendly, not intrusive. Formal locals, we were wanting to be close to family in Point Breeze and this cottage delivered. Good parking, sunny location, and close to local restaurants. Next time in town, we’d do it again. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Lake Ontario getaway

Great place to view the Lake and relax after business trips to Rochester. Cottage was large enough for work and play at the same time, so everyone was happy. Well stocked, everything we needed to enjoy our trip. Comfortable beds and furniture, space to spread out so everyone could relax. We looked at many properties in this area before setting on this cottage, we definitely made the right decision!

Great Place!

We needed a last minute place for my mom’s funeral. So glad we stayed. Great location. Waking up in the morning and looking out at the lake right from the bed is amazing, plus you’re literally right in the water, so the crashing waves just lull you to sleep. The weather was cool but we still grilled and chilled and the fire pit was nice. We needed some stress relief and we got it😊Everything you possibly need is supplied. The home was spotless and very comfortable. We met the owners and they were very kind. We will definitely come back again in the fall to come up for the leaves. We live in Florida, so we don’t get the seasons, plus we love to fish and this cabin is right a short walk to the marina at Point Breeze. Thank you to the Sunshine’s!

Right on the Lake

It was lovely waking up to Lake Ontario right out your back door. We saw a lot of boat activity and a lot of birds. Fishing must be great because we saw fish jumping every day. Only 1.5 hours from Niagra Falls and even closer to Rochester. We had a great time at the firepit and playing games provided with the house.

Perfect

We had a great stay. The cottage has everything you might need, plenty of space and a perfect location. The upstairs deck makes it hard to get out of bed with a perfect view of the lake by day and stars by night.

We're lake people now.

This was our first time in the area and we enjoyed it immensely. No complaints with the house - it's more than spacious enough for two people and was clean. But the defining characteristic of the house is the lake view. The sun rises and sets over the lake at this time of year (early June). You can watch the lake from the bed. You can watch the lake from the living room. You can sit on the back porch and bask in the lake goodness. You can even bask in the actual lake water... And we did. The weather was literally perfect while we were visiting. Sunny and about 70F every day. It was so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. It was also a great jumping off point to visit Niagara Falls, which was absolutely breathtaking.

Cozy cottage on the lake

This cottage was wonderful. Literally a stone throw from the lake. Don't let the outside fool you, this place was roomy. Owner has so many special touches to make you feel welcomed. Absolutely loved it!

Great Base on Lake Ontario

We really enjoyed the Sunshine’s cabin in the lake. It was a great base for day trips to Niagara and the Finger Lakes, as well as the nearby towns of Medina and Albion, state parks, and wineries. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Being right on the lake was a huge treat. We enjoyed watching the sunsets by the fire pit while sipping local wines. We worked during the week, so appreciated the fast and reliable wi-fi (note the house does not get strong Verizon signal, so the wi-fi wad especially helpful). The owners were very responsive and helpful and check-in/check-out was a breeze.

Amazing Lake Ontario view

This property not only has one of the best views of Lake Ontario, it also has attractive features inside. The 1.5 bathrooms, fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and more added to our enjoyable stay. The front row seats provided us with ever-changing views of the lake as the mist rolled in and out and the cormorants dove and reappeared. Great hosts and great place to stay!

I am a professional musician and my wife is a registered nurse. We have owned our property at Point Breeze for over 15 years and purchased our first rental unit in 2013. In 2019, we bought a business that included 3 more rentals. My wife and I split our time between Buffalo and Point Breeze.

This is located next door to our own house on the lake. My wife and I love to travel and are aware that guests require safety, comfort, and privacy. Although we are close, we respect guest privacy and will not intrude, however we are available for information (happy to share) or to assist in the event of any problems.
