The Lake Escape Cottage: Charming cottage in the heart of the resort community of Geneva on the Lake. Newly remodeled, fully furnished and comfortably appointed, this cozy retreat offers a perfect escape from a hectic world. Enjoy a bit of serenity as you walk along its quiet lane or wander on the adjacent private beach to collect sea glass with your family and friends. Look forward to watching a spectacular sunset from a broad white bench at the waters’ edge. During your stay, you can enjoy the nearby entertainment district for dining, and shopping or just plain fun. For the family, there is plenty to do. Adventure Zone, just one of the many attractions, offers a variety of family fun; go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, miniature golf and huge arcade that will keep the kids happy for hours…all this within walking distance of the Lake Escape Cottage.

Lake Escape Cottage is a newly remodeled home with tasteful decor, spacious rooms and quaint charm. The screened in porch has room for dining, playing cards or just relaxing in recliners while the cool breeze blows in off the lake. The kitchen includes all new appliances, microwave, crock pot, coffee pot and cooking utensils. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience during your stay. An outdoor propane grill, magazines, books, dvds, beach chairs and children’s games are a few of the additional amenities to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The Lake Escape Cottage has central air for the hot summer days and central heat for the coolness of fall.

We are located on the private Mapleton Beach enclave, across from Madsen Donuts and are a block away from Eddie’s Grill. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet on a quiet lane with private beach access. The cottage is available year round; weekly rentals June through August with shorter stays available during the off-season.

We loved staying here. Being right on the strip AND having private beach access was amazing. Plus the home was very reasonably priced compared to other places in the area. If I book a trip to Geneva on the Lake again, this house will be the first one I look at.

Cute clean little cottage..plenty of room for 7 people...close to the strip and to the water..we would stay there again. Michelle was very accommodating and the cleaning gal was super nice!

Cousins trip

We loved the location. Very convenient and could walk everywhere. Lake on one side, bar with live music on the other. Some people may not like the loud music but we loved it! The only thing was that I guess I didn’t see that towels and washcloths were not provided so we had to go buy some. A little inconvenient but nothing we couldn’t handle. Will definitely stay there again!

Family Fun

The cottage has room for several people to stay comfortably. The location is great to be able to walk to arcades, shops and restaurants. Grandparents, parents and grandchildren had a great time.

Such a great house at Geneva on The Lake.The house was perfect for our girls getaway. It was very clean and spacious. The location was excellent. Friday night the power had gone out in the city due to storms but the owner Michelle was super response and kept us up to date on the power outage. We will definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

Property was perfectly located near the middle of the strip. Had very nice outdoor padio space out back that wasnt shown in images. Property also appears to be recently updated which was a very pleasant suprise. Overall a very nice property and perfect for a family trip

Great place at the Lake!

The location to the beach and the strip was amazing! Overall very well appointed with nice touches like tons of hooks for towels in the bathroom and everything we needed in the kitchen. Bedrooms were good sized and it was nice to have fans in every room. Living space was large and it was great to have table seating for everyone.

The cutest little cottage

This was such a cute little place! We were given the wrong code to get in but the owner was quick to answer and give us the correct code. Everything was clean and the rooms were decorated nicely. My only complaint is the bedrooms were a little hot but we just turned the heat way down at night. The hot water also didn’t last very long but we just showered quickly. The location is walking distance from several things including the lake where we found beach glass! Great stay. Would stay again! My family loved it and my 8 year old asked if we could move in forever.

Great location and cozier & roomier than the photos show!

Had a GREAT stay here in GOTL! The house is cozier and larger than the photos tell. Loved having a kitchen and the laundry available and was literally 3 houses from the main strip. It was perfect! There was plenty of space for sleeping and living room dance parties! The bars are nearby and the water too. Would highly recommend!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic time and a big part of it was due to the location and the place we rented. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. We did have a couple of questions when we arrived, but Michelle answered them almost immediately. Chad stopped by to make sure everything was OK and was very pleasant. We would definitely rent there again......and hope to do so. Thank you for making out stay so enjoyable and worry free.
