property is beautiful and spacious. Delightful 25x50' inground outdoor swimming pool. The Tavern Room is a great spot to watch TV on the big screen. There are multiple eating spaces, a well equipped walk-thru kitchen, enclosed walled garden space, outdoor grill and beautifully landscaped property. There are 3 bedrooms - Philadelphia Room with king bed, Franklin Suite with queen bed and the Captain's Quarters with a queen bed. 4 aerobeds with linens makes sleeping for 10 guests. Our property is for adults only and the amenities are for resident guests only. Close to hike/bike trails, Branched Oak Lake and the tourism opportunities in of Lincoln and Omaha. Add on Husker basketball packages with game day tickets. Located in the heart of Nebraska's wineries - James Arthur Vineyards, Glacial Till, Capitol View, and Junto. Guests love the ambience, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the black sky for star gazing, nature's finest including birds and other wildlife. Ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles. Great Stay

Great Place To Recharge!

Our families *really* enjoyed the many settings to relax and enjoy the property, whether it is the orchard, the pool area, the home itself with its many rooms, or just a place to see the sky. It was hard to leave but we're already planning to return next year!

Had a great time in this charming home!

The property is beautiful and very secluded! Harriet had very prompt communication and had Benadryl when we needed some. The pool was amazing and cold on a hot summer day. The beds were more firm but that’s personal preference. Great stay!

College Friends Reunion

We had a fabulous time!! The house and property were perfect for our group. The pool was amazing and everyone loved it. The all seasons room with two walls of windows was the perfect location for dinners together, playing games and listening to the outdoor sounds at night and in the morning. We want to come back!!

Perfect for our family stay-cation

Country house and pool oasis

Amazing Weekend!

Our group had an amazing getaway at the B&B. The house was so well stockers and big. It was the perfect space for us to stretch out and hangout. Harriet was a great host, thoughtful and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The location is a little outside of Lincoln but worth the drive. Everything was as advertised. Cooked a full thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful table for 6 to eat at. I would book this again

Peaceful getaway close to the city

We enjoyed family time together at this great home located close to Lincoln and Omaha. The house is large, there is plenty of room to spread out, there is a nice pool to enjoy and a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for everything!!

Perfect escape for anyone.

Harriet and Jack were both so kind, caring and ready to accommodate. Three of us spent 2 nights enjoying amazing food, perfect scenery and, of course, the decadent pool. The home is perfect and it is provided with the quiet sounds of the nature. Highly recommend adding this property to your must stay list.

Retired ER Nurses Annual Vacation

For the ninth time, our group of friends that worked together as ER nurses Gathered for a long weekend. . This is the third time that we have stayed at this amazing home. The home is spacious with three large bedrooms and three large inside gathering spaces. There is also a covered outside patio site For outdoor dining and a huge pool With lots of seating. The property is quiet and peaceful The home is a short Distance to the James Arthur winery. Great entertainment, and very good wine. Harriet and Jack are perfect hosts.. Plans are underway for returning to the farm next year.

A Perfect Weekend!!

I stayed in this fabulous home for a long weekend with 5 retired nursing friends! We had a great time in the house, on the veranda and at the pool!! Everything was perfect!! Harriet and Jack were extremely prompt in responding to our questions. The family dog was friendly and was just one more perfect host!! We all decided before we left that we want to return to this little piece of paradise again next summer!!

Countryside Retreat

This was one of the best VRBO stays we've experienced to date. The property is gorgeous with beautiful tree's, flower gardens, rolling hills, and bonus an extra large pool! The house is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We may have fell in love with Bison the property dog a bit too (he's so sweet). Harriet was very responsive with any questions we had and offered suggestions for great restaurants and nearby activities. Our favorites were Toast in Lincoln, the James Arthur winery, and of course the Omaha Zoo. We had the most relaxing week and hope to make it back to Nebraska soon.

Girlfriend Getaway Weekend

We had a fantastic girlfriend getaway and long weekend stay at this Saunders County VRBO. It was perfect in so many ways! Most of our awake time was spent at the large, immaculate pool, floating or enjoying sunset, in the 'Tavern (4-Season) Room', or outback on the enclosed patio. The kitchen offered everything we needed, including the double ovens, 2 full size refrigerators and even an outdoor grill! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and ample additional space for our group to spread out and sleep soundly. We know we'll be back!

Fabulous start to 50th Birthday with friends

Such a great weekend for my group. Really loved the property and it was perfect in every way! Plenty of space, amenities, great hosts, oh.. and the pool! 🤩🤩☀️☀️. We had an event the first night in area. Then, we relaxed, cooked, sunned and had a great 2nd day/ night. Fabulous weekend. Perfect way to slow walk my way into my 50’s ..ha. Just wish I could give this more than 5 stars- Absolutely recommend! 👍👍 Thank you for everything, we’ll be back!

Retired Nurses Weekend Getaway!!

This is the second year that we have spent a long weekend at Pine Crest Farms in rural Nebraska. There are three different tables to gather around for meals and conversation, as well as a number of couches and easy chairs. Best of all, there is a large inground pool on the property surrounded by chase loungers. The water was a perfect temperature for long swims. There were several floats to use in the water. The conversations and the laughter went late into the evening and started again early in the morning over cups of coffee. The kitchen is well stocked and there are two refrigerators to hold the food that you bring in for meals. There is no reason to leave during the weekend, except that there are wineries nearby with great music and food trucks. The hosts are available if needed. They are extremely kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable. We love this house and I’ve already asked to reserve it again for a long weekend next summer!!

We built this property as our intergenerational family home. We had a Christmas tree farm, a cow-calf operation, a swimming instruction business and a bed & breakfast. As retired educators and innkeepers, we're now hoping that others may share in the joys of this home and property.

What makes this property unique

Escape to the country....that says it all! It's quiet and beautiful. Curl up with a good book, take a swim in the pool, walk the property, enjoy birds or other wildlife and star gazing in the dark sky. We're so close to Lincoln that attending events at UNL or Pinnacle Bank Area are an easier drive than coming from south Lincoln!
