Hobbs House

Great property, amazing hosts. Larry and Carolyn were terrific hosts, answered all question's in a very timely manner. My family and I live long distance apart, we gathered in Cheyenne for Christmas at the Hobbs House. My 3 grandsons are all under 3 years old, Larry and Carolyn made sure the house was decorated both inside and out. My grandsons loved it. I highly recommend the Hobbs House if you’re in the Cheyenne area. I will be choosing this property when I’m in Cheyenne again. Thank you Larry and Carolyn!

Short stay visiting family

The house is just as described, maybe even better. The downstairs game room is quite cozy and was great for my teenagers. The hosts took care of everything and the house is very user friendly. We will definitely stay again.

A Perfect Home

This was the nicest VRBO rental I've ever stayed at. Very well done, all around. The house felt like home right away and we were sad to go. Well stocked with necessities and niceties. Perfectly clean. The kids loved the game room and kids bedroom with the two kid beds. Lots of books and toys. Lovely back patio and yard were great for lounging. Neighborhood was very tidy and felt safe, I enjoyed biking the paved bike path nearby. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

3 ladies loved it

Came to Cheyenne for family reunion . Mother’s oldest sister 96 hosting . Without knowing it we were a very short distance tpo her event venue . After a day of visiting it was a pleasant oasis to come back to the home with sister and adult daughter to decompress . Bedrooms beautifully appointed . Very comfortable beds Daughter did stay in the bunkhouse which she enjoyed as it Was representative of her childhood . Back patio area was lovely though we did not use much as the heat of the day was more than enough for us . Waters and tea in the fridge on arrival was appreciated. Lovely mid century home and neighbor hood . No traffic on the street of house was discernible 3 ladies from Iowa Minnesota and Denver were quite comfortable and well rested . Thank you

Clean and Cozy

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean, everything worked well, so many amenities. You had the feeling of living in your own home. We also appreciated how conveniently located the property is. Would definitely stay there again.

Love the Hobbs House

We were in Cheyenne to help my brother after losing his wife. Their home needed extensive cleaning and intervention. We worked hard all day then retreated to Hobbs. Clean, cheerful, good location. Boosted our spirits every day. And fireworks to put the cherry on top.

The Hobbs House is a Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cheyenne. We make this trip about every two years to visit family. The Hobbs house and Larry as our host made our stay that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this house for anyone considering a stay in Cheyenne. Thank you so much Larry. We shall return.

Get Away with Grandchildren

We enjoyed our stay. Just a day in Cheyenne on our way with grandchildren to see the sights around Mt Rushmore. The home was perfect for the 5 of us. The 3 children, ages 8-11 and us enjoyed the game room. The games available were enjoyed by all. Great place to stay.

Warm Home

This is my family’s second time staying at this house. Just like before, it felt like we were in our own home. My four year old niece loved the playroom! The owner was so amazing. He left her a little present under the Christmas tree. These little touches are what makes this house feel like a Home.

Home away from home !!!!

You can not go wrong with this VRBO. It's perfect. All you need is your cloths and toothbrush. Everything is there, from shampoo to lotion to q-tips !!. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is spotless. The beds are super comfortable. The owners are the most gracious people. I had questions about the kitchen, as I have rented other VRBO before with not even a can opener, and I wanted to be sure I could fix Christmas dinner. Larry called me immediatley and told me exactly what was in the kitchen. Everything !!!!!! This house was decorated on the outside for the holidays plus there was a Christmas tree set up for us as well. The basement has a great TV/game room. Very comfortable fruniture which is important. As I said, home away from home. You will not be disappointed/ I will request this house again.

Great place to stay!

The Hobbs house was one of the best VRBO homes I’ve stayed at! It was clean and just as described. The backyard was perfect to spend time in with the family. There were four of us but the home could easily have double that amount. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to plenty of great restaurants. Definitely the place to stay in Cheyenne! Great hosts!

It was a perfect stay for our golfing weekend. The upstais shower was amazing. The house had such a home feeling to it. The back patio a great touch for grilling our steaks.

This house is perfect

The Hobb House is perfect!! This home is so warm and inviting, we felt at home for our stay. They have thought of everything, from a great assortment of snacks, coffees, a fully stocked kitchen with the best set of cookware, to the small toiletries that you may accidentally forget. This is so much more than a house it’s a home. I would definitely recommend staying here if your in the area.

Awesome House!!

The house was great!! Very clean and the accommodations were spot on. The neighborhood was close to the stores and restaurants but was tucked away and quite. I would defiantly stay again and would highly recommend The Hobbs House!!

The Hobbs house is where my family will always stay when they come to Cheyenne

The Hobbs house is where my family will always stay when they come to Cheyenne! This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Hobbs house this year. It is warm and comfortable and feels like home! The owners have thought of everything from snacks to medical supplies. It is our home away from home! My mom and sister stayed there for three weeks as my mom recovered from surgery. The owners are extremely caring! They had snow removal they offered for the cleaning lady to come and clean while they were there. The owners are simply kind people. If you want a home away from home that is cozy this is your place!

This is not your normal VBRO! The owners thought of Everything! I highly recommend this house

The owners have great hearts! The house was decorated for Christmas. It is warm and it makes you feel like you were at home. They asked about how old my niece was and had toys there for her. My sister and my niece got snowed in on the day they were supposed to leave. The owners worked with my family to solve this problem. The house is extremely clean it has everything you need including a medicine cabinet stocked with supplies. Whenever my family comes I will be booking the Hobbs house. If I could give them 1 million stars I would! Simply put I have never had a VBRO that had so much thought and love put into a home.

My wife and I split our time between Colorado and our home in Cheyenne. We have children and grandchildren nearby and love spending time at The Hobbs House. We are fast becoming part of the Cheyenne community. We think you'll like it, too.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

After looking at several homes in the area, we chose this home because we specifically wanted a brick ranch home that would accommodate our rather large family. We were hoping to find that home on a large lot, in a central location, in an established residential community in the heart of Cheyenne. The Hobbs House was perfect for us and checked off all our boxes. It's close to everything, in particular Frontier Park. But it's also located in a quiet residential neighborhood (at least as quiet as Cheyenne gets!).

Perfect vacation home for a family to spread out. Plenty of things for the kids, little and big, to do. Free WiFi. Smart TVs. Separate family room in the basement with a dedicated work space/desk and printer for privacy when working. Then send the kiddos down after dinner for gaming, games, and movies on the HD TV.
