About this property

The detached house is located in the middle of a large garden on the hill (Monte Giove) in a quiet location above the old town of Terracina overlooking the sea. A romantic natural garden with olive trees, oleander, bougainvillea, rosemary hedge, agave and brick hearth for barbecuing surround the house.
The own lemons as well as spices (laurel, rosemary, sage) can be used gladly. There is a rooftop dining area, which is great for dinner in the sunset. Many terraces (partly covered) surround the house to find the perfect sun / shade at all times. The bungalow offers many places to relax and feel good with views of the sea and the bay of Circeo.
A very special place: the view-protected outdoor shower with hot water and side sea view!
Due to the location on the mountain there is often a pleasant breeze, which ensures even in summer for a cool sea breeze. In 3 bedrooms can max. 6 people are housed. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. There is wifi in the house.
The house is mostly used privately and is therefore very personally furnished. Everything for your daily needs is available and distinguishes the house.
Bed linen and towels are provided. (No beach towels)
The center of Terracina is 5 minutes away by car. The old town (Domplatz) is only 8 minutes away on foot.

Vacanza così così

La casa non è male anche se datata. Bella vista sul golfo. Spaziosa. Cucina molto ben fornita. Due difetti: non ha l'aria condizionata ( mea culpa che non me ne sono accorto prima ma lo davo per scontato visto il prezzo ) e i due bagni sono privi di bidet. Necessaria l'auto per la spiaggia su strade strette e piene di buche, con senso alternato perenne causa parcheggi selvaggi.

Casa con bellissima terrazza e panorama stupendo

La casa è situata molto in alto ( vicino alla strada panoramica che porta al Tempio di Giove Anxur), sopra il centro storico di Terracina (bellissima atmosfera soprattutto la sera per aperitivo o cena), per questo il panorama, dalla casa, è mozzafiato. Casa pulitissima e completamente attrezzata, situata in un piccolo complesso residenziale di circa 15 abitazioni private alle quali si accede entrando da un cancello. Oltre a ciò la casa è circondata da un giardino privato: per questo la privacy e la sicurezza sono garantite,. Posizione strategica per visitare Gaeta, Sperlonga,, San Felice Circeo, Sabaudia oltre alle spiagge naturalmente. Bellissima location per una vacanza interessante e riposante: vivamente consigliata!

Molto bella

Abbiamo trascorso 15 giorni in questa bellissima casa ( definirla bungalow è molto riduttivo ). Accessibile da strada privata non transitabile dai non residenti è tranquillissima, immersa nel verde e con vista mare. Il centro storico è raggiungibile a piedi. I terrazzi che circondano la casa permettono di passare piacevoli momenti all'aperto. Splendido anche il terrazzo solarium che copre tutta la superficie superiore della casa.

sehr geschmackvolles Haus in phantastischwer Lage

Die sehr schöne Lage mit einer aussichtsreichen Dachterrasse, die vor allem am Abend und in der Nacht voll zur Wirkung kommt, ist wirklich bestechend. Wir haben unseren Urlaub voll genossen und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Die Terrasse mit komfortablen Liegestühlen und Beschattung lädt auch bei großer Sommerhitze zum Verweilen ein.

wunderbare Auszeit auch zu Ferragosto!

Wir verbrachten einige Nächte in dem schönen Haus oberhalb von Terracina. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick über das Land und auf das Meer und die große gemütliche Terrasse im Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Freiluftdusche im Garten ist super - so ist jederzeit für eine erfrischende Abkühlung gesorgt. Alle Zimmer sind geräumig und die Küche gut ausgestattet - so konnten wir auch mal daheim kochen. In den Ortskern und die hübsche Altstadt von Terracina gelangt man zu Fuss in 15 min (ist aber relativ steil und daher vielleicht nicht für jedermann geeignet!), mit dem Auto sind es nur ein paar Minuten. Auch die nächsten Strände sind nur wenige km entfernt. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Anwesen in günstiger Lage, etwas abseits des großen Trubels zu Ferragosto!

Wunderbar mediterraner Urlaubsgenuss

Sehr ausführliche und exakte Beschreibung der Lage und Ausstattung des Hauses. Begeistert waren wir von der Sauberkeit und der sehr gemütlichen, umfangreichen, familiären Ausstattung des Hauses. Sowohl die Vorbereitung durch den Vermieter war exzellent, ebenso die jederzeit tel. Erreichbarkeit, und auch sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Nachbarn. Es ist jederzeit ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen. Wir waren, auch mehrmals mit Freunden, jetzt seit 2002 das fünfte Mal hier - und kommen immer wieder sehr gerne! Ausgezeichnet die Ruhe in dem sicheren, gut verschlossenem Areal, und die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Ganz besonders hat allen die große Dachterrasse mit der herrlichen Aussicht gefallen, praktisch die verschiedenen Seitenterrassen, je nach Sonnenstand immer gut nutzbar. Unzählige Freizeitmöglichkeiten: Wandern durch die Hügel, der imposante Tempel, Hafen, Strände, herrliche Altstadt; auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Außerdem prima Bahnverbindungen z.B. nach Rom oder Neapel.

Kuscheliges Anwesen in traumhafter Lage

wir fühlten uns schon beim Öffnen des Gartentores irgendwie daheim - das Haus, außen wie innen, ist so persönlich gestaltet, daß wir uns eigentlich wie Gäste der Eigentümerin fühlten - es war ein bißchen wie Haushüten.... Es fehlte an nichts - wir haben sämtlich Ausflugs- und ferneren Sightseeingpläne erst einmal minimiert, um den Bungalow, sämtliche Terrassen, den Garten und Terracina selbst zu genießen. Es gibt soooo viel in Laufweite. Wir werden Stammgäste

Seit vielen Jahren Bewohner dieses Hauses

Das Ferienhaus hat eine sehr gute Lage und ist in einem sicheren Bereich , da ein elektrisches Gittertor automatish schließt. Die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Wohn und Esszimmer hat Blich zum Meer. Die Küche ist mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. An kalten Tagen wärmt ein Zentralheizung . Das heiße Wasser ist stets bereit für eine Dusche. Es gibt eine großzügige Terasse mit Essplatz. Weiterhin einen Stellplatz für 2 Autos mit Bedachung. Also ,schöne Ferien

Traumurlaub im "richtigen"Italien

Wir waren die letzten 30 Jahre immer wieder da, mit kleinen Kindern, mit grossen Kindern samt Anhang. Es war immer fantastisch, in diesem Haus passiert Urlaub ab der ersten Minute. Frühstück und Abendessen mit Blick aufs Meer, Sonnenuntergänge vom Feinsten. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Bei unlust aufs selber Kochen, die Stadt ist voll mit Ostarias, Pizzerias usw. Sehr schöne Spaziergänge gehen zum Jupitertempel oder zum alten Dom, wo man Eis schlecken kann direkt neben gut erhaltenen Teilen der Via Appia. Rom und Neapel sind nicht weit. Das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt, die Matrazen rückenfreundlich. Ich werde immer wieder hinfahren.

Wohlfühlurlaub

Wir hatten wunderbare Ferien in diesem Kleinod. Der Blick von der Terasse ist ein absoluter Traum. Die Nähe (ca. 1 Std) zu Rom eignet sich hervorragend für einen Tagesausflug. Auch der nahe Strand ist wirklich wunderschön. Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind auch zu Fuß ( nach Hause geht es den Berg rauf) zu erreichen.

A great place to relax and enjoy beautiful Italy

We stayed at the villa for 10 days and enjoyed every minute! We were four adults and two children and the villa and its venue offered something for everyone. It was very clean and had all the facilities for a longer-term stay (kitchen, washing machine, safe, t.v., dining/sitting room, etc.). On entering the house and opening the terrace doors, our first reaction was: What a fantastic view! But, what we ended up liking the most during our stay was the wonderful ambiance (“gemuetlichkeit”) of the house, its décor, the individualized rooms, the terrace, and the garden with its flowers and lemon trees. It was great sitting together on the terrace at the table for breakfast and for dinner enjoying the beautiful environment that surrounded us. In the evening, walking together to the historic village not far away for a coffee, gelato or sometimes a local concert was very pleasant. Of course, Terracina and its surroundings are fabulous: lots of beaches, interesting towns within cycling distance (two of us were with bicycles…the hill made for great exercise) or by car, and nice shops, restaurants and pizzerias both in the main town and in the historic village. In sum: excellent value and a wonderful experience

Built by my grandparents, I am now taking care of this family jewelry. Since early childhood, the house has been familiar to me as I spent and I am spending a lot of vacations in the house. Therefore it is very imortant to me and my familiy, even though I am living in Munich. For me it s important that the house is well preserved and can be enjoyed by my family as well as other holidaymakers. The house is very well equipped because my mother herself spends many months in the house. My little family, especially my daughter loves the beaches and the many possibilities to play in the house and garden.

Why they chose this property

I particularly like the terrace in the sunset with a view over the bay and fishing boats. The good food, the nearby beaches and the quiet location over the picturesque old town have delighted my family for generations.
Another highlight every two years is the olive harvest of our own olive trees to produce our own olive oil. The lemons, oranges, figs and spices also migrate from the garden directly to the dining table and can be used by any resident!

What makes this property unique

Especially in summertime, the cool sea breeze in the evening is a highlight. In the evening, it is worth enjoying a nice glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the sea, fishing boats, the old town and the Monte Circeo and to feel the pleasant light evening breeze.
