SUMMARY

Welcome to your modern lake getaway located at Buffalo Springs Lake near Lubbock, TX. Enjoy all the features you need in a lake weekend: comfortable accommodations, cornhole, foosball, kayaks, bikes, ping pong, and more. Sip a glass of wine on one of the several patio spots overlooking Buffalo Springs Lake. Prepare a delicious meal in the well stocked kitchen. Public access to the water is a short walk down the road, and you can launch your jet skis or boat from the marina.

THE SPACE

The house sits in the middle of all the action at Buffalo Springs Lake. The lake is year-round fun with several events happening each month. An open concept living space is perfect for families to enjoy each other’s company. Bring your lake toys and enjoy being out on the water. After fun in the sun, you can relax in the amazing master retreat on the second floor with a large soaking tub, huge walk-in shower with 6 spray heads, and spectacular views outside your patio doors. With 3,000 square feet, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The main house has three large bedrooms, and the cabana has an additional bedroom and bathroom. Each bedroom has a big screen, smart TV for streaming your favorite shows and movies.
Pets are approved on a case-by-case basis. Pre-approval required.

We promote a family friendly atmosphere and respect our neighbors; therefore, we ask that there be no loud parties. Lake rules must be followed. Please, no extra guests without our consent. The individual booking must be in attendance.

Please note that you are responsible for gate fees to enter Buffalo Springs and to use the lake and off highway vehicle areas. Daily entry fees into the lake are $16 for adults and $5 for children. Please visit buffalosprings.net for latest updates.

Bring your UTV, ATV, Jeep, golf cart, boat, jet skis etc. (Buffalo lake gate/user fee applies).

Lake House

House was in a good location and nice floor plan. Vacuumed but not clean. Kitchen and fridge could use a deep cleaning. It appears the homeowner lives there full time.

Family Lake Retreat

This lake home is spacious and has a well equipped kitchen for cooking. The private cabana room makes a nice addition for those needing to escape the main house activities. Our family has stayed here several times and we have enjoyed sharing stories, making memories, and spending time on the lake (we bring our boat). This house is perfect for our weekend lake retreat. The house design is fabulous and the beds are comfortable. Full size washer and dryer are a bonus + another washer/dryer in the master bedroom. Upper deck views of lake are fabulous! Victor is a responsive host and easy to work with each time we stay here. We'll be back!

An enjoyable getaway

Its a beautiful place to stay in and have a nice relaxing time. My favorite part of the home was the balcony, where I would sit and enjoy the view The host is great if you have a question you get a reply right away . I would most definitely stay there again

Nice Getaway

This home is spacious for a family getaway. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and enjoy this lake home for a family retreat. The two bedrooms and cabana are located on the first floor, the master is located upstairs. We bring grandparents along, so stairs can be tricky (front entrance and garage both have stairs). Kitchen is nicely equipped. We cook meals and play games and find the home quite spacious for both. We enjoy this home and our stay at BSL!

Awesome property

This is quite literally the nicest property on the lake. The property is amazing. We had a great time. Host was fantastic. I hIghly recommend this property if you are visiting Buffalo Springs.

The house was beautiful but disgustingly dirty

Despite arriving 2 hours after check in the host was still there “cleaning.” After an awkward exchange he left and we started to look around, only to realize the house was filthy. There was half eaten, perishable food in the fridge and freezer, and the fridge was dirty with spills and dead bugs. The counters and table had dried food on them. The toilets had urine on them and caked around the base and the upstairs toilet still had feces in it. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the house just to feel comfortable staying at all. We contacted the host and while he agreed to refund our cleaning fee, he seemed indifferent to our concerns. The couch base is broken and is being held up by a stack of weights. Be careful not to stub your toe on it. This was a terrible experience. We never could fully relax because even though we cleaned, the house still felt dirty.

Family Gathering

This location was perfect for our family. The house was beautiful. Kitchen was big enough for all the cooking we did over the last several days. We will definitely stay again!

We will be back! Great place

We brought our boats and met up with our kids and their friends that to to Texas Tech for one last lake trip of the season. The house fit our needs perfectly and we loved the easy access to the lake. We will be booking this place again.

Family Lake Day Retreat

This is a spacious home with well equipped kitchen for cooking and entertaining. My wife and I hosted a family weekend for my parents and adult siblings with their spouses. This home was perfect for entertaining and catching up. Couple of small things to note: The garage door wouldn't work, however, upon furher inspection there was a GCFI plug needing reset in the garage. Easy fix with the push of a reset button. The host, Victor is quick to respond with any issues (this is our second time to stay here). Additionally, the kitchen faucet is a "touch" operated faucet. If not working, replace the batteries. Extra batteries were located in the kitchen drawer. Again, just a couple of tips for your stay. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here. The property is quite spacious and includes a cabana with a full bedroom and bath. This is the preferred bedroom if you bring an entire family--both private and quiet when needed. We had a fun, memorable weekend. The host, Victor, is enjoyable to work with on any issue and responded quickly to our needs. We'll be back!

Beyond Expectations

The Buffalo Springs house was absolutely perfect for my family while we were in town for my daughters graduation from TX Tech! House was very spacious with multiple sitting areas and ample TV's for everyone to enjoy themselves. I couldn't recommend this house more!

The lake house

This home will be one I will never forget it is beautiful inside. The host was so helpful, my family enjoyed the view of the lake , the home on the location was beautiful . We will surely come and visit again. Only thing I regret is if I had more time . I definitely recommend you to stay at this home in you are visiting Buffalo Spring , your family will enjoy it and it was comfortable, and updated .Thanks to Our Host Victor for allowing us to share his home it was a beautiful experience thank you

Amazing house in an amazing location.

The owner of the house was super responsive and fixed any problems almost immediately. Would recommend the place to anyone who wants a Great Lake weekend.

Worst experience ever

This place was beautiful in the photos, the owner agreed to let us check in early but never sent us an access code. He completely ignored us until 2 days later advising he “forgot” to send the code. Luckily a door on the second floor was left open & we were able to get in. The water in the sink in the kitchen did not work, the house was full of dust, dirt, and webs. The couch was broken, sheets and couches stained. We have rented many vacation homes before, this was a horrible experience and the owner takes hours if not days to respond.

Lake Day Getaway

House is beautiful, spacious, and modern. Spent the weekend here with extended family for a lake day retreat--perfect! Kitchen is well equiped, beds are comfy, and large garage is a bonus. With elderly/handicap family, the house is on a small hill so entry through the garage or front requires navigatiting stairs. Also, lots of beautiful windows for light and views but no window coverings (like many lake homes), so privacy is limited. The home does feature a seperate cabana with a bedroom and full bath if you bring your in-laws :-) Victor was extremely resposive and a great host. We'll be returning!

It was perfect and close enough to Lubbock but definitely loves having an option with a lake view!

The host was quick to respond! We loved how the house was different than the rest around. Very modern and unique!!

Lubbox Stay

Victor was a great host, was very responsive when asked about questions. He was also very flexible with us about checking in early. The lake was beautiful, which matched Victor's home. Plus side, the Texas Twister had the best corndog ever!

Beautiful Home on Lubbock Outskirts

The property was beautiful with great views of Buffalo Springs Lake and the canyons. The interior and furnishings were perfect and overall we had a great trip! We tried to grill steaks on Saturday evening, but the grill wouldn't work after a new tank of propane and the yard has terrible sharp grass burrs. Don't go outside without shoes on! We stayed here with the intention of inviting our two Tech students out for the weekend to have dinner and spend the night and it was a perfect home to catch-up with family and spend the weekend together! I'd highly recommend it!

Family Time

The property is beautiful and accommodated our family perfectly. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage and the view from the upper deck. Our only complaint was that upon arrival, it was not clean...I had to clean the bathrooms (including commodes) and haul off trash. The house and cabana needed a good dusting and vacuuming, but I did not clean all that. However, I contacted the owner and he apologized and refunded our cleaning fee...I’m sure this situation won’t happen again!

Fantastic home in a great location

We are from Lubbock but now live in Orlando. This was a fantastic home for our grandchildren to stay with us. Lots of room and toys to play with, no one was bored. The best time was everyone piling into the master bedroom to watch the beautiful sunrises over the canyon and lake. We give it a five stars and will do it again.

Nice retreat outside of town

The house was lovely and very clean with nice views and amenities. Great place for a family to stay. Kitchen is perfect for cooking for a large group.
