I would highly recommend staying here! The view from the loft was beautiful and it was perfect for a small family. We all slept in the loft just because of how pretty it was. The host was highly responsive and accommodating. You won’t regret it!
Host was responsive and flexible. Property was clean and accommodations were as great, as described. Location quiet but not far from basic shopping but close to nature trails and water access. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous view out the back with birds and forest. Very comfortable cozy bed. No amenities, I expect things I find in a hotel. Shampoo, conditioner, coffee. Backless bar stools, need a table. Not much for cooking, no grill, no oven, no dish washer. No ice or ice cube trays
We really enjoyed exploring Homosasa. Great community of local life without the crowds and high rises of Florida. An airboat ride was a highlight of our time there. Highly recommend PT Airboat Adventures. Also recommend the shrimp from the Freezer restaurant. Decked out for Christmas.
Best part of the place we stayed was waking up in the morning with the big windows in the loft facing east with the beauty of the trees. This was the perfect location for our 3 days in Homosassa.
This place didn’t disappoint. It’s conveniently located between Crystal River and Weeki Wachee. The place was just as shown in the pictures. It had a cute loft area on the second floor and full kitchen amenities on the first floor. It smelled nice and clean. Everything was spotless. Communication between the owner was on point. There are a couple of boat ramps in less than a mile away which worked out great for us. I would highly recommend this property.
This small apartment sits on a multi family property with two apartments in one unit and a full home about 50 yards beside it. All are rented separately. This unit is very contemporary with stairs going to the loft that require a watchful eye. The deck is shared with both apartments with some outdoor furniture. A full kitchen is offered as well as a roomy bathroom with a large shower. The hot water tank is small but should last for 2 limited showers. There is a pull out couch on the main floor and a pull out bed in the loft. The downstairs couch is not the most comfortable, but it’s a place to sit to watch TV. Blankets were not available for the extra sleeping areas; only the main bed in the loft. The entire space is surrounded by windows which gives off lots of natural light. The windows were quite dirty but nice. The location was great as there were many restaurants as well as things to do in the area. A local ice cream shop was right down the road. The surrounding community is mostly retired families and everyone seemed very nice. This location is great for physically fit individuals and possibly families with children. The unit is pet friendly and the landscaping is kept very nice. I am not sure we would return, but it was certainly a unique property to stay at. The host was great and stayed in contact at all times.
We loved staying here! Our hosts were super easy to communicate with and responded with any questions I had within an hour. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!
We booked last minute do to some change of plans and the host was super accommodating! Very responsive and friendly. The place itself was spotless and adorable! It was perfect for our family of 4 with two dogs. Sipping coffee outside on the patio under the trees, watching the birds fly from tree to tree was the best part. I recommend this place highly and will be requesting to stay again every time we are in the area.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the loft house. The only word we could come up with was amazing. Views, parking, and location made it an ideal place to stay for a getaway.
Location is great: laidback yet convenient. Many state parks around. The online listing is accurate. Need to be a bit nimble to use stairs (loft)😂Chris is a very good host and very responsive. If you have some time, stop by at Museum Cafe, a time capsule, for a sandwich and chat with the owner Boe about printing, jazz and Old Homosassa.
