Awesome property, perfect location

This was the second time my friend and I stayed at the property. It was awesome as usual. It’s in the perfect location for shopping and dining. We will be back this fall!

My new favorite place

This property is fantastic! The location could not be better, it's just a few steps from a wide array of restaurants and cute shops. The home has plenty of room and has everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully furnished, the beds were super comfortable and, we were there in December and it was decorated for the holidays. The host was super responsive and the off street parking was a huge plus. Book the cottage, you won't be disappointed!

A Perfect Stay

This cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. Every small detail was perfectly decorated and it was perfectly clean. Kristina was responsive, kind, and accommodating. By the end of the weekend, we wanted to move on permanently.

Amazing Place

Weekend Getaway

Amazing heart of Geneva

Every detail is perfect! One of the very best VRBO rentals we have ever stayed it. The pictures don’t do the charm and character of this historical home justice. It is stunning! The location in the heart of Geneva in walking distance to all the shops restaurants and bars cannot be beat. The host was super responsive and even worked with us when we accidentally arrived a bit early. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure.

Best VRBO EVER!!!!

I cannot think of any other place in my 30+ years of travel that has ever left with me a sense of home. This experience was outstanding and in a league of its own. We talked about it this morning and have not one single complaint - ONLY a wish that it didn’t end so soon and plans to come back not only for the fun we had here, but the welcome we got from the Campbell Street cottage. ❤️

Lovely in-town cottage, awesome host!!!

We used this cozy cottage for a long reunion weekend. The home is even more charming than the pictures, every detail so well thought out…. so relaxing and comfortable. Kristi was a great host, helped us during planning and so many thoughtful touches and amenities in the home for our stay. Great location right in the heart of Geneva… walk everywhere.

Perfection!

This historical property is lovely! I would call the decor "classy cottage, " which was admired by all who visited during an informal family gathering. There is plenty of room inside and outside. The beds were so comfy! It was also close to shopping in quaint little shops and fabulous restaurants. This will be my go-to place to stay anytime I'm back in Chicago.

Staying in Geneva? Look no further

The cottage is everything as described and more. Excellent location just steps away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. The cottage itself is well decorated and has everything you could possibly imagine to enhance your stay - Netflix/games/coffee/dishes... Walking distance to some nice trails and surrounded by the lovely homes of Geneva. This cottage comes with its historic charm and modern accommodations throughout. Easy process checking in and out! The only thing to note beyond how great the stay was is that because of its close proximity to restaurants and shops there was quite a bit of truck noise of deliveries and trash pickups prior to 7am (perhaps some earplugs if you are a light sleeper). It was a minor inconvenience however not a dealbreaker on how great the stay was. Highly recommended!

The most perfect stay

We had the BEST stay at this property. I booked this house as a place for my friend and small bridal party to sleepover the night before and get ready for her wedding day. We just adored it. It's light, bright, and gorgeous. Also, the bathroom floors were heated which was such a nice touch on a cold February weekend. (Though the house was also shockingly well-insulated for how old it was so we weren't cold at all!) In addition to being adorably (and functionally!) decorated, it was located within walking distance to everywhere we needed to be. I don't have an ounce of criticism for this house or host. Thank you SO much for making this weekend so special for my friend!!!! :) :) :)

Perfect Holiday Staycation

Campbell Cottage

The location of the property was perfect … walking distance to everything downtown Geneva has to offer. The unit was nicely decorated and well stocked with any dish or cooking utensil you could imagine. We traveled with our kids so sleeping arrangements weren’t an issue. However, there are really only 2 true bedrooms. The 3rd room downstairs offered a full size pull out sofa so could only really sleep one adult comfortably. Overall we loved Campbell cottage and would definitely stay again!

Lovely Historic Geneva House

Loved everything about this house. It has been sympathetically decorated to maintain its character. The facilities were excellent. The location was perfect for Geneva and convenient for trains to Chicago. Could not have asked for more.

High School Friends Reunion

Overall good. Kitchen had issues. Simple, concise directions for coffee maker would’ve helped. Oven temperature didn’t seem regulated correctly making it difficult to bake breakfast casseroles. We appreciated the easy check out process and the close proximity to town.
