We absolutely loved this cozy little cabin! We stayed after a long day at Cataloochee ski area and it was perfect to kick back and relax. The hot tub was big and clean and ideal after being in the snow. And the entire place was very tidy and not far from the top of the mountain. My only regret is not bringing my dog because it had everything you would need to bring your furry friend. We absolutely will be back!
This place is so charming and was the perfect cabin for our mountain getaway. Very classy and quality everything, from the sheets to towels to dishes to hot tub. It had everything we needed and matched the description perfectly. Highly recommend!
Stayed for our 6th wedding Anniversary, The host was great, asked if our 150lb furbaby A Newfoundland could come as we are a family and he said yes, host even had treats waiting for Duke which he loved, very thoughtful host as well as set up to be pet friendly, even had a bed for him which we forgot his, put his blanket down on top and Duke was set. The day before we left we saw a herd of 25/30 Elk grazing in the back what an experience. God is Great in his creations
Would HIGHLY recommend.
Thank you again
Absolutely loved this cabin .. very cozy, very clean and easy access (No long dirt, gravel hills to climb). Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
We all loved our stay at this great cabin. Very private and well appointed. So convenient to everything the area has to offer. Definitely a very enjoyable trip. A big "Thank you!" to our hosts.
Beautiful cabin tucked away but close to everything! Everything was very comfortable, even had blankets for the rocking chairs on the back porch! Everything was very clean. Beautiful location on the creek. We really enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was absolutely precious, inside and out! I wish I had brought my pup and will do so, next time. The owner has thought of everything, including a pet and kid friendly home, away from home! Getting to and from the cabin was simple and w/in walking distance of numerous restaurants/shopping venues, if you prefer to get a lil exercise! This Twin Creeks Refuge has it all. Will definitely book again in the future. Thank you!!
Absolutely amazing!! Pics don’t even do justice. So beautiful and so many special touches!! From the beautiful landscaping, the nice soft towels, comfy bed and sooooo much more!!
We would highly recommend this piece of paradise!! Can’t wait to book again!!
So sad to leave this morning…. My morning coffee will never be the same… going to miss sitting in the rocking chair wrapped in the softest blanket the owner has draped over every chair, gazing at the creek and hearing the babbling water …… everything was perfect!!
Slice of Paradise that will exceed your expectations! Excellent communication from the owner, Gary. The cabin is absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. The property is paradise! Tucked in the mountain, but close to town. Peaceful retreat to reset your mind and body to a slow down to enjoy God's creation. We will return.
I will begin by saying there are not enough good things I can possibly fit into one review of this property. The house was easy to find, very accessible and yet, still had that sense of being “tucked away” from everything else. The landscaping with so much greenery was an inviting welcome. The house itself was charming and beautiful. There were four of us and we always had plenty of space to hang together or find a quiet spot alone.
The back porch was a favorite area for all of us. It is a spacious, screened-in back porch right next to a creek. It’s shaded and cool, no bugs, and there are comfy rocking chairs WITH fuzzy blankets on each chair in case you get chilly. Such a thoughtful touch!
We brought our own food and let me just say, it was so easy to prepare food at this house because the kitchen was EQUIPPED! They have lovely stainless steel pots and pans (instead of the usual cheap scratched Teflon pans you find in a lot of rentals). They had a fully stocked pantry with spices, plates, cups, silverware — EVERYTHING.
The bedrooms were lovely and each of us had our own space. The skylights provided a lovely wake-up with the day’s first light.
Oh! The fire pit! We brought a couple bundles of wood and had a fire at night. Highly recommend having a fire pit in the evening, make s’mores and spend the evening in perfect weather laughing into the night with your group.
I would 10/10 recommend this property to anyone considering it. I would also 10/10 come back to this specific property because it was fabulous!
The cabin was perfect and the host (Gary) could not have been more accommodating! The location is excellent, it was secluded, very cozy and the hot tub was a nice touch as well!! We will be back again next year for sure!
This was our first overnight trip to Maggie Valley! The Cabin was perfect! Super clean, Decorated so well, the owner was prompt and accommodating in anything I needed. My kids loved the loft and two creeks. The fire in either outside or in was so nice to have. Location gives you the ability to do so many things and of course my kids 3 and 5 had to do Santa’s Land and they loved it. Peak color on the blue ridge parkway was amazing and it’s just 10 min from cabin. My family and I really loved this place and will gladly be back!
What a wonderful place! Beautiful inside and out! Everything you could want was provided - even dog biscuits for our pups! Marvelous cabin for vacation! We will be back!!
We loved the combination of classic cabin charm -- the bubbling creek contributed to a feeling of being in the country and far removed from hustle and bustle. But in fact the property is close and convenient to Maggie Valley businesses, including some excellent restaurants within walking distance. Add to that the immaculate and beautifully maintained grounds and it was a magical place for a getaway.
This cabin is great for families that need outdoor space. The kids and the dog loved the creek and we enjoyed watching them from the porch. It was nice to be able to go back after a long day and relax. We will be back!
The cabin was very well-maintained and the amenities were wonderful for a rental property. Very close to shopping/food. The hot tub was also very well taken care of which is sometimes not the case! Thanks for a nice first stay in Maggie Valley.
