Il nostro condominio di San Giovanni è un meraviglioso, 1 camera da letto, 1 bagno casa vacanze situato a pochi passi da Cruz Bay in una tranquilla strada residenziale, appena passato Gallows Point Resort con una splendida brezza e vista sul mare. Frank Bay Beach è proprio dietro l'angolo ei tramonti sono incredibili da qui! Il nostro condominio ha colori e servizi di ispirazione caraibica, perfetto per gli adulti, viaggi di nozze o coppie con tutti i comfort di casa con un po 'di privacy e la convenienza di St hotel o resort John.

Con 10 'soffitti alti, pavimenti piastrellati, e vista sul mare sono un rifugio isola accogliente. Villa La Mer è dotata di aria condizionata e di ventilatori in tutto e per tutto con normali scambi commerciali.

Passo dal soggiorno o camera da letto sul nostro ampio porticato con un tavolo da pranzo all'aperto in teak, sedie a sdraio, un'amaca isola ispirato, e barbecue grill a gas. Il portico si affaccia sulla piscina condivisa (con altri quattro condomini) e alcune delle migliori vedute panoramiche dei Caraibi e delle altre isole, e naturalmente tramonti che ricorderai per sempre.

L'ampio soggiorno ha un pavimento a scaffale a soffitto, TV, e lettore CD, e noi siamo pronti WiFi.

La nostra cucina ristrutturata e ben fornita è ben fornita da mia madre (un cuoco del sud!) , quindi dovresti avere tutto il necessario per sistemare un pasto elaborato o fondere i tuoi intrugli preferiti.

La proprietà è splendidamente paesaggistico con piante in fiore tutto l'anno e amerete assolutamente la grande piscina che è condivisa privatamente con le altre quattro unità sulla proprietà.

Il nostro appartamento è molto ben tenuto e la nostra squadra di benvenuto sarà disponibile anche se avete domande circa il condominio.

Ci auguriamo che la nostra casa isola lontano da casa.

American Paradise

The views from the villa are gorgeous, and the accessibility to town perfect. The villa is fully equipped. It is a testament to St. John charm and comfort. The island itself is spectacular, easy to navigate by car and the islanders are beyond friendly, kind and helpful. We wish we could stay here longer. God willing, we will return. Good vibes.

100% would stay again

The location of the condo is perfect for a walk into town. Parking in Cruz Bay is very difficult, so having the ability to walk into town was key!! The physical space in the condo was perfect for us. One bedroom, one bath, the "one fanny" kitchen (it's pretty narrow- only one person at a time!), and great living space inside and out. We appreciated Patty meeting us for check-in, as well as the wonderful communication prior. Loved the pool and the view. Could not have found a more perfect spot for a week in St. John.

A excellent place to stay in Cruz Bay

The apartment was very comfortable, with a large balcony and dining table, hammock, etc. offering a great view. The complex pool was very nice on a hot day. A short walk along the beach to restaurants, bars, and the dolphin market for provisions as well as the ferry dock and national park visitors center.

Excellent Location, great views

This place has everything you need. And it has a great sunset view. It is walkable to the Cruz Bay restaurants and shops. And the Property manger was helpful and friendly.

Beautiful, convenient place in Cruz Bay

This is a really bright, comfortable, and pleasant place within easy walking distance of central Cruz Bay. We stayed here in 2015, when it was surrounded by construction and lacked air conditioning. With the construction noise gone and the installation of air conditioning (which we only used in the bedroom at night), the villa is now top-notch. There are still roosters, but being able to close windows and use AC meant they weren't an issue. Patti was communicative and accommodating, and check-in and -out were straightforward. I don't have anything to add from the other reviews other than to agree with them (except to say that we found the bed perfectly comfortable and not hard at all).

Villa Caribe / Villa La Mer

My husband & I loved our stay at Villa Caribe/ Villa La Mer. We are very familiar with this area of Cruz Bay and were happy to have had the opportunity to stay at Villa La Mer. Everything was perfect - very clean, beautifully decorated. We appreciated the art made by local artisans depicting not only the tropical beauty of the VI, but also the people & culture of St. John. We enjoyed the large deck, overlooking the pool, and watching the car barge come & go...while relaxing in the hammock! The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen gadgets, spices, and pots & pans which made it super easy for me to make Christmas dinner that we enjoyed with family at the lovely teak dining table on the deck. Patti, the property manager, was very nice and communicated well with us. We would not hesitate to stay here again! :-)-Rick & Cordella

Lovely Stay in Cruz Bay

We absolutely loved this condo! the location was perfect, walking distance to town but still quiet. And the back deck was our favorite hang out spot. The property manager Patti, was so nice and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to stay here again

Great stay.

We really enjoyed the Villa. It gave us everything we needed. Nicely furnished and decorated.The covered porch with a beautiful view and pleasant breezes was the highlight. Short walk to Cruz Bay restaurant. Easy parking.

Great property and location was perfect!!

The property was perfect for what we were looking for. Convenient walking distance to all the activities in Cruz Bay. The walk back to the property was a little uphill but wasn't big a challenge. The deck was amazing with great views. Patti was great to work with for checking in. The apartment had everything that was needed for a great stay. Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked a couple of meals and didn't seem to be lacking anything we needed. Pool was convenient and comfortable. We used the pool most nights and we were the only people I saw using it. It was cool to see big iguanas in the trees in the yard from the deck. We counted 14 on our last day. I would definitely stay here again.

Honeymoon Getaway

We visited St. John for our honeymoon and had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the property and it was a nice walking distance to town. What you see in the photos is what you get. We had no complaints and would stay again!

St. John getaway

We loved this property. It was just as expected and had all the necessary items and more. The property manager Patti met us upon arrival and gave us the overviev. Very grateful for the beach chairs, towels and coolers we used everyday. Convenient to walk every evening to dinner or out on the town.

Wonderful Condo

The condo was great! It was very comfortable and clean with a great deck and view. It was such a treat to walk into town every evening! Patty was very responsive and made checking in very easy. We can't wait to return to this wonderful island!

La Mer

La Mer was an absolutely perfect villa to stay in on St. John. It was well equipped, very clean and perfectly located to walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, the ferry and the grocery store. We very much enjoyed BBQing on the balcony and swimming in the shared pool! We definitely would stay at La Mer again when we return to St. John.

Can’t wait to book again!

My husband and I spent a week vacationing in St John for our anniversary and had a great experience here! Adele and Patti were so welcoming and made everything so easy for us. Our favorite things: - The property is just a short walk to Cruz Bay. - The pool is private, quiet and so refreshing for an afternoon dip after the beach. - The deck is perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening. We can’t say enough good things about this property and look forward to booking again in the future!

Perfect Condo in Town

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Villa de Mer. It was a classic and adorable condo with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed watching the stars from the porch hammock every night. The location is perfect for walking into town and the property manager was warm and wonderful. I've visited St. John many times - usually staying in villas or private homes outside of town - and was worried about losing privacy with an in-town stay but couldn't have been happier with our week!

Great launching pad for St. John adventuring

This condo on Cruz bay is exactly as described. It is clean, well-stocked with essentials, has some great books to read about St. John, and it is close to town. We loved being able to walk into Cruz bay (it’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the Cruz Bay landing area). We also liked walking down to Frank Bay in the morning. There’s a peacock around there so that was cool to see. We enjoyed the covered deck for relaxing and coffee in the morning. We go to St. John often and we spend our days hiking, snorkeling, and going to the beach so this was a perfect little spot to rest and unwind after our exploring. The hammock is a great touch. Patti, the property manager, was awesome! Extremely kind and responsive.

Beautiful space, easy walk to Cruz Bay restaurants, peace fun views

We really enjoyed our stay here. King bed was very comfortable and we liked the AC splits for the bedroom. Pool was amazing and quiet. Living space was really nice and large for a rainy day. Deck was more comfortable than most, with choices for sun and shade. Did have a sunset view, but just know that it's just a narrow view now because trees on neighboring properties are blocking it some. But there was still penalty of beautiful water views. Just loved this villa! And the owner and caretaker were both fantastic as well. thank you!

Villa La Mer is Magical

Patti and Villa La Mer help make our trip amazing! Patti was amazingly accommodating in meeting us to check in, escorted us through a great walkthrough of the condo and pool, and provided an indepth guide for all amenities in St. John. The condo was clean with an amazing view. It is conveniently close to Cruz Bay restaurants, although it is at the top of a steep hill. There is parking in front of the location, complimentary toiletries, and an incredible balcony with an exceptional view. Thank you for helping make our trip for our sister's wedding magical.

Lovely La Mer

The La Mer condo is lovely—a perfect blend of bright open space and cozy comfort, and it's filled with beautiful seaside decor and art. The large veranda adds a very special bonus. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on a return trip to St. John. La Mer is in a perfect spot for visiting this island. It’s a short walk to Cruz Bay for shops, restaurants, the ferry, and taxis that will go anywhere on St. John, including beaches. Also close by is the National Park Center and some of its walking trails. In addition, communication with Adele and Patti before and during the stay was welcoming and efficient.

Early December escape

We rented this property months ago because the property manager had a more liberal cancellation policy than many others. We also loved the views shown on VRBO. Fortunately we were still able to go despite the COVID restrictions and a few nerves over getting test results in time. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the views from the deck were fantastic. It was the perfect size for a couple, had plenty of fans and air conditioning, the bed was firm and very comfortable (to us). The walk to town is fairly short but is all uphill coming back so be prepared for that. Both the owner and property manager were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

La Mer Highlights

Here are some highlights from our stay that others might find helpful 1. Dedicated parking spot for our unit, good to know if you are renting a car. 2. Had various sizes of snorkel gear including fins 3. Nice location, ~10 walk to town to eat or shop without any really steep hills to climb 4. The property manager Patti was VERY helpful 5. Having AC in both the bedroom and front room was very nice. 6. Having a pool to swim in right there was very relaxing 7. Was quiet and had nice views of the bay. Room for improvement: Provide directions from the car ferry to the unit geared to someone (like us) who have never been to St John before. The directions we received assumed we had some knowledge of the area which we didn't. Patti was very helpful in exchanging texts with us when we were lost to help guide us there. Turns out most of the street sign names were lost during the last hurricane making navigation a little harder.

Don’t stay here if you want a good night sleep!!!!!!

This was one of the worst experiences of our lives. Once we arrived at the property, we immediately noticed the bedroom. Before discussing the bedroom, we do note that the property is in a great location close to town. It is also large with a nice balcony and a relaxing hammock as well as a pool. Now back to the bedroom. We laid on the bed and discovered that it was extremely uncomfortable. We saw some of the reviews that mention that the bed was firm, but that is a complete understatement. We have stayed in hotels, motels and the like all over the world. This bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever attempted to sleep on hands down!! It felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood. Unfortunately, we were UNABLE to sleep on this so-called “mattress”. It was impossible and we stayed up all night for two nights in a row. Unfortunately, the bed situation complexly ruined the vacation. It led to two tired people who were extremely irritable, to say the least. After two nights of not sleeping, we vacated the property even though we had rented it out for 4 nights. We left and headed to another resort. I’ve never wrote a review before regarding a stay. The quality of the bed warranted writing this review. If you want to sleep on vacation and have an enjoyable vacation, we would strongly suggest that you NOT book this home. Perhaps, a drop in bookings will force this owner to finally purchase a satisfactory bed for her guests. This was simply a horrible experience.

Perfect, walkable spot

This property is a short walk to down town for dinner, which we did nightly. We spent our mornings on the porch eating breakfast, and evenings in the hammock with a cocktail. The bed is on the firmer side, but feel that’s personal preference (I would recommend a gel mattress cover or foam crate). Patti was super attentive and responsive to text. The home had beach chairs and a cooler which we used daily. Would definitely rent again and can’t wait to come back.
