We love this property!!!

This is our 3rd year staying here and we love the house. It's perfect for our group, and has all the amenities we need for our stay in Detroit. Christy is a great host and helps with any of our needs during our stay. See you again next year!!

Wonderful stay!!

Our party consisted of 9 woman. We all slept comfortably is this absolutely gorgeous historic mansion. The home was very clean and well maintained. The property owners were readily accessible and communicative if I had any questions. At one point, I had a difficult time finding a spare air mattress and within 30 minutes, they had their cheerful House Keeper at the door to help. Again, we had a wonderful stay and I’m very interested in exploring the owner’s other properties.

Wedding weekend

Great venue for family to prep for wedding, makeup, hair and photos. Amazing! Problem with hot water, but no time to contact host. We managed. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal Property for Family

This is a quaint older, established mansion in an historic area of Palmer Woods in north west Detroit. This home was equipped with all the essentials of modern living with a touch of the past. Located on the backside of the Detroit golf course, this is ideal for our family gathering and celebration of life.

Amazing place

We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and unique. Very close for downtown and the property manager, Cristi was amazing to work with. Definitely recommend!

Great house and location

Great spot for large group

The house is very well maintained, as is the exterior of the house. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us, and the house has some great character! Everything was as advertised. The host was exceptional and very accommodating. A family member was coincidentally staying at another property owned by the host that same weekend, and had similar excellent things to say. I will definitely reach out to the host again when traveling back to Detroit. Bonus, the property is right on the Detroit Golf Club!

Wonderful house by the golf course

This house was amazing for a group of 7 of us that were in town for the weekend. With the amount of rooms and cool layout of the place, everyone had ample space to spread out. The host was very responsive to any questions and helped all of us feel comfortable in the house.

Great stay in historic Detroit mansion

Christy’s mansion in Palmer Woods was both homey and visually striking. She was a generous host and made check in and communication easy. We were able to cook in the kitchen and enjoy the backyard, but were also able to get downtown in a short drive. It was a lovely trip and a fun place to spend the weekend.

Great historic mansion!

My family loved this property for Christmas! It’s beautifully renovated downstairs and has a massive living room with a cute smaller living room off to the side! Christy was sooo responsive with all the questions I had! I put four stars for the location only because to the right of the house is a retry tough area, but to the left side is beautiful and has the huge Palmer park! The house itself is very safe and on the golf course.

Detroit group getaway

Overall the house worked well. It took a while to find what was advertised as the 6th BR, a foldout in the weight room. Good place for friends from out of town to gather. I'd stay again.

BeautifulRestored Mansion with so much History

Thanks Christy for sharing your h,ome, great location to downtown which hosted alot of our events Charity Auto Preview, Tigers Game, Van Gough exhibit. Our host was always on top of things making sure we had everything we needed. Country Club of Detroit view was fabulous!! Wonderful weekend get away.
