About this property

The main house was built in 1888. Our family purchased the property in the 1990's and operated as an equestrian/boarding stable. In 1999 the boarding stables were closed and in 2007 we renovated the property to what we have today. An approximately 8,000 Squarefoot facility with the capacity to sleep 15 to 20 people. The house is wide open which is great to accommodate large groups with plenty of room to spare. There are two large TV rooms, a game room with pool table, ping pong, foosball, darts, and a ton of board games. We also have a bunch of yard games including; corn hole, can jam, horse shoes, and bocce with more to come. We also have an indoor pool, exercise room, fire pit and walking trails. Plenty of space and activities for a large group

Had an amazing stay at this house. The indoor pool, large yard and closeness to the lake were all big draws for our group. Loved all the indoor space for meals and games. Will definitely be back!

Staying in Oxford for our son’s wedding. This property was amazing. Excellent location just 9 min from wedding venue and closer to welcome dinner. Loved that it is pet-friendly. Only wish we’d have had time to use the game room and pool!

All the amenities of a hotel, but better!

Place was amazing for 13 family members. Kids and adults loved the game room, pool, and walking paths. It was like having a hotel all to ourselves. Communication was great and both Patrick and Brian were very helpful.

Family retreat

It was a terrific stay. Plenty ofroom for the whole family. There was fifteen of us and we were comfortable. Pool and Gameroom were a plus, we spent the majority of our time in those places.Also has trail to a bridge and an old cemetery we enjoyed walking

Amazing property

This was a perfect property for adults and kids. We stayed with a few families and we all have kids. This was a great stay for us we all enjoyed the house and its amenities. Also i felt so at ease with the communication that was provided by Patrick. It was truly a great experience for our families. We would love to stay again when we are in the oxford area.

What fun!!

Our family of 11 had just a wonderful time at this property meant to be enjoyed. Plenty of comfortable bedrooms, spaces galore to play, talk and eat. Pool, gym, game room, puzzle room. Highly recommend.

"Amazing Home" for a getaway!

Everything about this home was over the top! Its huge, its Immaculately clean, bedrooms are so comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped, awesome gameroom, gym, lounge "areas", and the heated pool and outdoor areas was amazing. Family Reunion

We had a great time. The location was perfect for our family reunion. Game room and common spaces were large and worked well. Pool was an added bonus. Large field in the back was great for grandkids. Kitchen was a bit small but the second refrigerator was very helpful. The house is a bit of a maze but that made it more fun.

Great spot with so much to do

My family and I rented this property for a weeklong reunion and it was perfect. We had kids 4-9 years old with us and the pool, game room, and huge yard were a hit with them. Lots of room to spread out and play. Kitchen was well stocked and the property manager was friendly and very responsive.

Fabulously Family Friendly

There were 14 family members there for 6 days. House is everything represented and more! Our ages were 2, 14,15,16, some in our 20’s,30’s and some who refuse to discuss age lol there was so much to do and SO much space that we were never on top of each other and never bored. Host and property manager were top notch. Hope to return, highly recommend

Everything a large group needs!

The house was even better than expected! This house has everything you need for a large family or group. Plenty of places to sleep. Large spaces to accommodate everyone. The indoor pool was perfect and big enough for all the grandkids to play. The game room was next level! I didn’t hear any of the 10 grandkids say they were bored! So many games and puzzles to choose from. The living room area over looks the pool with a glass wall and you are surrounded by walls of windows. It snowed all day Saturday but it was never cold and everyone commented how beautiful it was and felt like we were in a snowglobe. The kids thought it was so cool to swim while it was snowing outside! All my sons loved the gym which had all they needed to get a great workout in. The perfect winter getaway and can’t wait to go back!

All in one

We originally were going to Punta Cana, 13 of us, but my mom broke her ankle and couldn’t fly. I decided to look for a place big enough for all of us and this was perfect. The pool topped it off. Games, cooking, crafting, plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this!!

Beautiful Property

Wonderful home on large property with multiple amenties. Of course, the pool was fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked. There were lots of games, both inside and outside varities. Grocery stores nearby. Our family had a great week and owners were very pleasant and responsive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful property in western Maine

This is an old house that has been renovated to new. Plenty of room for 14 people to stretch out in the house plus a large well kept yard to enjoy. Pool was fantastic. Property manager is nearby and checks in daily in case of any issues. Kitchen is a little tight and the bathroom locations are a bit quirky but not a showstopper. Would stay here again in the future.

Fantastic rental, lots of fun and relaxation

After a long year, my family was looking forward to getting away. Along with two other families, we were thrilled to find a home with lots of space, games, an indoor heated pool, walking trails and nearby restaurants. The owner was very easy to work with and friendly. The week was just what everyone needed, lots of laughs and good bonding time. Absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and reconnecting with family and friends. Our family now refers to the house as the “Oxford Resort!”

Wanted to Stay longer, this place is a GEM!!!

This house is beyond amazing. There is so much to do and plenty of space for large families or groups. It's also very soundproof, so you don't bother others if they want to do something else. Brian, the property manager, is one of the kindest people I have ever met. This place is so unique, and they have truly thought of everything. It is so clean and comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice. Also, there is a screened porch that isn't in the photos, which was one of our favorites! We can't wait to go back!

A large home with comfortable and ample amenities

A stunningly huge home. Close to a mountain lined lake with a back yard the size of two football fields for activities, room enough for 14 large adult men and more entertainment than you could imagine. We came up for few days and everything was as advertised. We enjoyed all kinds of wildlife and went through a neat little cemetery while hiking behind the backyard. Kitchen is a little tight but it has all the amenities you need. And yes, the grill works very well. Super cozy beds/couches and the pool is *chefs kiss* We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first experience in Maine. Thank you letting us stay at your lovely home.

June family trip

We had a great stay despite the crappy weather. There is so much to do in the house! The indoor pool was amazing, the game room has a pool table, ping pong and darts. There is a room full of board games and a den for the teens to hang out and watch tv. The great room is so much more than what the pictures show! Lots of room on the couches and multiple tables for eating, crafting and games. There are multiple bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of linens and tables. The kitchen is well stocked and there are supermarkets and take out close by. We took advantage of the gym while we were there as well. The adults took turns checking out the casino and eating out at the brewery. I would love to stay at the house again

Lovely house especially for large groups…but had some issues

The house is lovely especially the indoor pool which was great for kids. However, biggest issue was that we were led to believe house accessible for someone with walker… with rear entrance access and bedroom and bathroom on 1st floor….There was a bedroom and bathroom but no shower or tub. Most rooms clean but bedroom and bathroom first floor not. Not well stocked paper items like toilet paper, paper towels, sponges. There were lots of dishes, and other cooking pots, pans, etc. Does mention a boat in amenities and there is none…but nowhere to use it close to house anyway. There is very little to do in the area but a lot to do in the house itself. Couldn’t use outdoors yard, games due to horrible mosquitoes…bitten alive. With that said, there were many games, puzzles, pool table, etc to use inside. Brian, one of the two hosts, was wonderful! He was very responsive to any issues we had and came immediately….plus an all around helpful person.

Family Adventure

Every year for Christmas I purchase a family adventure. This year my sons wanted a place we could all just hang out! This place was perfect for all 13 of us! Even though it rained, we still had the pool, the game room and all the board games! I highly recommend this place!

Pictures don’t do it justice!!

This was an amazing experience at a renovated beautiful home. We held our Christmas work party at the home and everyone had a blast. There was plenty of room for everyone to play in the game rooms, great room and pool. And then stay overnight! The barn renovation to the game area is beautiful and well done. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!
