Great short stay

Stayed 2 nights. The property is dark inside, but besides that was great. Great location and easy to get to everything! We enjoyed our stay.

A Wonderful Getaway!

Such a wonderful getaway with great proximity to the water! Comfy beds, enclosed back patio overlooking the water to enjoy a cup of coffee at, and who doesn’t enjoy a hot tub at the end of the day? Very much enjoyable and relaxing!

Great Property with beach

The place was very nice and clean (seemed to be recently renovated). Access to the beach was very close. We rented chairs & umbrellas, which were set up almost across the street, easy walk. Worth every penny.

Great location!

Very nice property within yards of the beach and close to the main strip. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The master suite was especially nice! The kids loved the hot tub.

Great spot

Love this property! Stellar location, comfy beds, super spacious. The comments about the dark stairway - we just turned the lights on so it wasn't an issue. Favorite spots were the main floor enclosed porch and the upstairs outdoor patio. Easy walking distance to all things Folly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great views

This townhouse hits some key things on our list: comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, seaside porch, steps to beach. We loved eating in the sunroom and walking just across the small street to the beach. The rooms need a thorough dusting (furniture, nooks and crannies, etc), and I wished for a door on the en suite bathroom (rather than beaded curtain) but other than that it was great! Walkable to shops, restaurants, and pier. Host was very responsive with answering questions.

Great place...so close to the beach ❤️

Not great for elderly but perfect for a family or friends gathering. Only "issue" was master bedroom shower wasn't working. Other than that it was perfect

Folly Beach

This was a great property for my friend & I. The location couldn’t be better - we walked everywhere in Folly Beach. Communication with John the owner couldn’t have been better. He was immediately responsive to a very minor issue & very thoughtful with his communication. We didn’t cook, so I can’t really speak to the supplies in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable & the house was clean & comfortable. The house is dark- it is painted in deep rich colors & most of the light bulbs are fairly dim. Hard to put on make-up in the a.m in the master bath. Overall, a great place to stay. Recommended.

Excellent Host - Improvements Needed

Our overall experience was good. Excellent Host. Excellent proximity to beach. Beds comfortable but short-sheeted. Surprised there were so many steps to enter the rental. Very treacherous. All in party were over 60 years old. Eclectic environment. Musty smell due to antique furniture. Primary bath shower needs upgrading. Moldy shower curtain in downstairs bathroom. Should be changed between guests. Better lighting needed. Very dark. Ice maker not working. 2nd upstairs bathroom not clean. Need door in primary bathroom-not beads.

Daughters Wedding weekend

Very over rated, many things in major need of repair or replaced. Steps and handrails are dangerous and very poorly lighted. TV in master did not work. Hot tub area is a joke they need to remove it. Master bath very poorly lighted. this home is showing it's age pictures do it to much justice.

2 couples in town for a wedding at Runnymede Plantation.

The unit was charming and even better in person than the photos indicated. The ocean views and beach access were ideal. We had a small maintenance issue and the owner/manager was remarkably responsive and attended to the problem immediately. Thank you John. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Awesome stay

Amazing location and great place to spend a few beach days. Th sun room had a wonderful view. The only feedback I'd provide is that the hot tub area was run down and not inviting.

Great property, fun times!

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The property is right across from beach and about 2 blocks from Center street so it is great location. The house is beautiful and has plenty of amenities like the pool table. I would of liked the balcony off the master bedroom more if there were more seating. It rained while we were there so not a lot of beach time but our host was great with giving us alternative options and responding in a timely matter on questions. The only items we had some problems with was the shower water in the property was not hot and there are a lot of stairs which created difficulty with carrying luggage and grocery.

Location, Location Great place to stay

We had a super family vacation staying at this Folly Beach home. Very convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach. It rained one day so we took advantage of the hot tub and played a lot of pool. We had a few concerns with the rental but John is a great host and he was very responsive and resolved the issues immediately. Our first visit to Folly, we had a great time. When we come back we would definitely stay at John's place again

Excellent location

The place is gorgeous, we really enjoyed the pool table. Directly across from the beach and within walking distance to everything. The only area that could use some attention is where the hot tub is located. It was very dirty and made us not want to even go in there. It says in the ad that there is a twin and a queen pullout. I only saw one pullout and it was a double at most and could fit one adult. The master bath was very dark and hard to see when getting ready. Other than that, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and will book again!

Great location and amenities in Folly Beach

Great family trip to Folly Beach! The house was in a perfect location: steps to the beach and walking distance to shopping/restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table and had plenty of room for the whole family. We would definitely stay there again.
