Cute cottage on Sebago

Beautiful view, easy access for boating, a great location! The house is small but the 2 levels allowed us to fit 4 family members comfortably. Will plan to visit again!

Great accommodation

Great cottage on the water and perfect if you have dogs. There is a spot on the foundation to tie your dog up outside and the deck has a locking gate perfect for kids amd dogs

Cottage

We loved the cottage, moved in very late day so didn’t notice the floors till sunny next morning…..the floors had never been vacuumed. Other than that, we really liked the cottage.

Lovely waterfront property

This property is situated right on the lake. In the listing it is not clear that it comes stocked with almost everything you could possibly need including pots and pans and plates and toilet paper and towels towels..towels.embedding

Great experience

The cabin was great!! We reached out during our stay woth a question and the host was very resposinsive. The clean was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very firm which we don't prefer, but other than that it was great!

Great lake weekend getaway!

I spent three nights here with my parents to celebrate my Dad's retirement, and it was so relaxing! The house was clean and had everything we needed (including lobster picking/shell cracking tools)! We loved that it was dog friendly as well! The house was in a perfect location right on the water with beautiful views of Sebago Lake. We also brought kayaks and had access to the water right at the house. The house felt secluded, yet it was also 2-5 minutes from grocery stores, ice cream, and restaurants (Bob's Seafood was only two minutes away and was delicious)! The house was also an easy 30-minute drive from Portland and 20-minutes from Sebago Lake State Park. We had a wonderful visit, and we will definitely be back! We've already recommended the place to friends and loved ones!

Lake vibe

The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?

nice but needs some deep cleaning

The location was great, close to things and bonus for the water view. The house was small, so with 5 people it was quite tight but that’s to be expected. There were ants everywhere and I never heard back from the local team to help us get rid of them along with dirty sheets and beds when we arrived. Ended up having to go buy cleaning supplies and new sheets since there was no washing machine or dryer on the property. Dog fur everywhere when we got there, which makes sense since pets are allowed, but it was kinda gross to see it all over beds, couch cushions and floors throughout the week. The room with the large bed does not have a door and is in an open loft above the kitchen and living room.

Worst rental ever

Walking in through sliding glass doors covered in dirty smudge hand prints from top to bottom. Next the smell inside of grease and food remains all over the stove top - disgusting and I spent the next half hour scrubbing and opening window. Beds were without mattress pads and spring and coils dug into back and hips - no sleep! Bedding seemed not very clean at all. There was a kurieg but no starter k cups or sugars etc available. Linens and towels did not smell clean. This place was small and unclean and it was a very unpleasant stay - we would have left early but we had a wedding to attend.

It’s the little things

“This property is part of The Sebago Lake Lodge. It is located on the opposite side of the road where the google address will take you. No need to check in at the maine office. Parking in the dirt parking lot and cabin number 22 is the last cabin on your right.” Those should have been the directions. Unfortunately we had to find our way in the dark getting there and asking strangers where this place was. The online help person (vis text only…nobody picked up the phone number we called twice) had obviously never been to the property so they were only able to regurgitate vague instructions. A large company like Vasca did its best ofcourse but not good enough in my opinion. Wifi passwords didn’t work and the tv worked sporadically. We asked if there were was a dvd player (so we could bring movies) and we were told there wasn’t a dvd player. There was. We were told Netflix was available…it wasn’t. So we enjoyed the lovely location and scenery in silence which was perfectly fine. The property itself was cozy and charming. Quiet and very clean. Could be a bit nicer had the little details been available. But ya know…not always the case.

Cute and cozy

Accurate in listing, well equipped and maintained. Property is very close to others, but as it is on the end and the property beside us was uninhabited at the time we rented it worked for us.

June 25-July 2

This was our first visit to Sebago Lake. We enjoyed our visit. My husband and I slept in the loft which had a queen bed with a plastic protective sheet, which is fine except there was no mattress pad and we were sleeping on plastic. Extremely hot and uncomfortable. Went to Walmart and provided a mattress pad so the next guests will be more comfortable. A TV upstairs would have been nice. Outlets there. No TV.
