Quiet oversized screened-in porch, period furniture, high-quality linens, and a wood-burning fireplace, you'll never want to leave! Although just three minutes to restaurants and shops, the home is private & secluded, sitting on over half an acre. Also close by are the airport, Research Triangle, Durham, Raleigh, and tons of outdoor recreation!

Lovely stay in Raleigh, NC

The host, Barbara, was great. Quick responses during reservation process and throughout our stay. The location was perfect, house is nestled in a quiet community, amenities were exceptional with everything a family would need to accommodate all ages. Updated decor inside and outside, clean and comfortable space with large windows and relaxing views. Would definitely stay here again.

Relax in Raleigh!

We stayed 4 nights during Columbus Day weekend to visit our son at State. Plenty of room for our family of 7. The kids loved making a fire at night and watching the deer. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood.

It was great!! I love that the house is in a neighborhood but hidden in the woods. It is close to anything you need. It is quite. Great screened in porches AND deck. The bed was so comfortable. The host is wonderful. She answers quickly to any question. Great coffee bsr. Dhe even has a little eagon hanging at door to load your stuff grom the var. I woyld rent again.Greacoffebar.

Exactly what we wanted

We were looking for a comfortable property in the area that would accommodate our family and be close to Raleigh and Falls Lake. The property was just what we were looking for. We would definitely stay at this property again, and recommend it to others.

Perfection!

Our host was available and responsive from the moment I put in a request to reserve. Check in was a breeze. She gave us all the information we needed in plenty of time to arrive prepared and get right in the place. Once in, we found a notebook with even more details and contact choices. The neighborhood was so convenient to everything we needed and yet felt quiet and removed from the traffic. I had a rather unusual request and the host was quick to respond and super generous. As mentioned in other reviews, the coffee station was the best! Instead of meeting friends at a local shop, we invited them to drop by the Fairytale Cabin for coffee. So fun!!

Exceptional Family Property

We had a fantastic time with our family at the beautifully done, mid-century design home. It included all the luxuries of home and had a great coffee bar that we greatly enjoyed! Much quality time was spent on the screened in porch and deck; it too is a great space to relax and enjoy. We had our 2 year old grandson along so we were very pleasantly surprised by everything this property provided for him, pack-n-play, many toys and more. This property has the feel of being in the woods but all the convenience of the city close by. (15 min from Raleigh Durham Airport) We will definitely be staying here again!

Great stay at the Acorn Treehouse

Great place to stay with family! Clean, super cute and great place to sit back and listen to the birds sing! Perfect location! Host was easy to communicate with and home was exactly what was in the pictures! Loved the vintage record player and coffee bar! I would stay again!

Family Fun

This property is so lovely, charming and comfortable. Its location was perfect for us. We were able to explore a lot of the Raleigh area and visit local family. Would definitely recommend a visit to Raleigh and this house makes a perfect home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at the Acorn Treehouse. Barbara is a fantastic host. The house is immaculately clean and well supplied. The large windows create an immersive feeling of being in nature with the greenery in around the home. Location is excellent in north Raleigh. Close to the highway and plenty of shopping / restaurants. Decor is excellent and very well done. Comfortable furniture and beds throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!!!

Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Barbara made sure we had everything available so we could to relax and unwind. My husband made LOTS of lattes and espressos at the coffee bar! This home was also within a short drive to each of the restaurants and other family we visited during our stay, which was super convenient. We will be returning to Raleigh and plan to come back to this wonderful space.

Checks Every Box!!

Beyond grateful for having found this sweet property. If there were a higher rating than 5, I would have given it. It was everything we expected from the listing and more. The owner is super helpful and the place was outfitted with everything you could need or want. It's cozy and beautifully decorated. The home is very well kept and VERY clean. I can't say enough about how much fun my family and I had and how comfortable we were during our stay. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting our family in Raleigh. We have most definitely found our home away from home!!!!

Quiet and peaceful

Property had everything we needed. Nice location, very quiet and peaceful. We had our bikes and rode all over the neighborhood. Would have loved to have used the outdoor space & wonderful screened porch more. We may have to go back when the weather is warmer! We did use the fireplace though which is a nice feature. Overall, a very comfortable property!

Super cute place

I tried really, really hard to find something to complain about with this property. I truly did. But the fact is, there’s nothing. The house was clean, the beds were soft, there was even a bed for our dog! The house was stocked with everything we could have needed short of our own clothes and tooth brushes. There was even more than one kitchen towel!! Honestly, this was one of the best places we have ever stayed in both comfort and decoration. I think the host could probably be an interior designer. 10/10 would stay here again.
