Welcome to Midtown Aquamarine! This large 4BR and 2 Full Bath home is nestled on a lovely little creek and features everything you need while traveling whether away on business or pleasure; you can rest assured this home has all you need and more.

Enjoy a nice family night in the living room playing the available board games while enjoying the popcorn and other snacks provided for your enjoyment. Or snuggle up and watch a movie 🍿 on the available smart TV and enjoy the Free Wifi while you kick back and enjoy your stay. This home has it all!

This beauty is located in Midtown of Hattiesburg and is conveniently located close to restaurants, shopping, the Hattiesburg Zoo, SMU as well the interstate.

This property has been abused and not kept up

I absolutely hate to leave a bad review as this is someone's livelihood. But, I would not recommend staying here unless you need a quick weekday trip for a few days or the owner does a makeover of the place.The neighbors woke us up both Saturday and Sunday morning at 3 to 4am yelling at each other. The first night was short lived, but the second night I almost called the cops, but they finally settled down after 20 minutes. Temperatures at night were in the 30 and 40s. We tried to turn on the heat, but it wouldn't heat up the house or stay on. After day three of no heat, come to find out the owners had not turned on the gas to the furnace. Day 1 the handyman tried to fix it, day 2 an HVAC guy tried, he told the owners about no gas, day 3 the gas company came to turn on the gas. Problem is once the heat was on, the bugs decided it was warm and came out of the woodwork. Bugs are normal for the south, but something just felt "off" about the place. Like no one had cleaned for months, my socks were filthy, ceiling fans dusty, mold in the bathroom, etc.Every blind in the house was torn except two in the living room. Therefore, no privacy or place to changes clothes. I am surprised by how badly people can treat other people's houses. For a short stay you could put up with all these issues, but the week couldn't have been over fast enough for me.

Not as describe

Big dead bug on the main bedroom floor. All the blinds except the living room were torn. Holes on some of the walls. Plank holding the master bed up. Front door did not close securely and the grass needed trimming. Oh yeah, the water was yellow. The owner would not answer his phone to discuss the matter with us. The house is in bad need of a TOTAL makeover!!!!

Hattiesburg Visit

Right in the heart of Hattiesburg, Mississippi! Nice quiet neighborhood, close to USM and downtown. The home had a very nice layout and plenty of space for us and a place for the pups which is so hard to find! Even though we did not have our dog with us on this trip, we noticed the space for him and made note for potential future visits. Easy in and out with plenty of parking for several cars. We are grateful to have been able to enjoy such a nice property during our visit to Hattiesburg. We highly recommend it to any other travelers who may be thinking of visiting the area.

Misleading and overpriced for property

Took awhile to figure out the smart lock. Heat was set on 72 but was actually 57 in there. Contacted owner he replied with things to try to make it worked which did not work. Also split unit in bedroom off of carport was not working either. Finally sent someone out, an hour and a half later, to check it they had to set it on emergency heat to make it work. He repaired both units. The smart TV in the living room (only tv in house) would just go off after a few minutes finally after awhile got it to stay on but only thing you can get is streaming only 2 streaming channels A/C grate at end of hall kept falling o to the floor, it was only taped with masking tape. Back left bedroom bed box springs or either part of bed was broke it was laying in the floor. Ice maker and water on refrigerator were broken, only 3 small plastic ice trays were furnished. Both showers were pretty bad, too much play in the faucets and the sink Faucett’s in both bathrooms also. Hall tree in living room is not sturdy, sounds like it’s breaking when you sit on it. Licks on both doors were very confusing to open. No doormats on outside or inside, tons of leaves tracked in. Walking from dry way to front door is hazardous, bricks are sporactictly laying around, tripping hazard. Living room only seats 4 people, not a great area either. Back door through laundry room does not shut properly, you can see at least 2 inches under the door. There is no cover and unsafe steps. House sounds much better than it is.

Has potential, but needs work

Owner was easy to communicate with. House was ready on time for our group. Unfortunately, the condition of the house was not great. Stains on every bed, shower curtains substantially ripped, all towel racks hanging off the wall, sink without cold water, and floor coming apart in every room. With a bit of care, would be a good place.

A couple issues

Not very much hot water for a comfortable shower. Two of the four mattress “squeezed” when you loved about or turned over in bed. The back bedroom platform bed was very unacceptable and should be changed. Did not sleep very well… Otherwise decently appointed with necessary overnight provisions.

Overall it was really nice. I’m glad I got the insurance polity because apparently there was a large damage charge to the property which is odd, we have never had this issue in any other VRBO, and we rent often. Otherwise it was nice.

Enjoyed our stay!

Spent a couple nights in Hattiesburg visiting our daughter who is a student at USM. This house was perfect for us because it allowed us to bring our dog. The house was clean and comfortable with a fenced in yard for our dog. They even had all of the bathroom products that we needed. Owners was easy to contact and very easy to work with.

Pleasant, Lovely, Quiet, Secure

We stayed at this property for our son's wedding at The Barn. Being that most of us were traveling for their wedding, including our pet dog, and would be staying for multiple nights, we needed rooms, and more. This home accomplished it all and more! Plenty of space, rooms, bathrooms, and best yet hot water and security. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, and equipment. The laundry room was a nice add for our stay. Beds are so comfy and large. Backyard so pleasant to relax. The greenery around the whole house was welcoming. Front swings at night - a must! The owners were always available and at the ready if ever needed. Location was near anything you needed within a short drive, or even a short walk to the Dollar General at the south corner of the street. Our elderly parents staying with us had no issue with the amenities. One being in a walker had no issue with the floor levels. Multiple chairs of different styles that helped her sit and stand. Lovely atmosphere and design inside. Color and theme matching throughout. All well thought out for their guests.

We enjoyed our stay. It wasn't fancy but it was clean and comfy. We liked the convenience of being so close to restaurants and stores and would prefer staying there instead of hotels.

Much Needed Oasis

After a 10 hr drive from Oklahoma, this property was a much needed landing spot. Very clean, very easy to find, and very easy to communicate with host. Will book there again if needed. Great place!
