Let yourself be enchanted by this oasis of calm at the transition from mountain to lake in Menaggio (Loveno). Menaggio is 15-20 minutes from Vista Lario. within walking distance. By car in 3-5 minutes.
In the district of Loveno above the city center is the German-Italian center Villa Vigoni, in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Loveno captivates with its originally preserved town center with romantic alleys, a fabulous position in the sun and a wonderful view over the lake to Bellagio and the mountains. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough not to miss anything.

Short break

Lovely apartment with a great view. Very clean homely and well equipped. The only downside was no fans when it was very hot. They would have made a big difference on the first 2 days. The walk was steep but when cooler managable.it would be hard carrying very heavy shopping though. Local restaurant was good. The only reason its not all 5 stars is the lack of fans . The description was accurate and did not mention fans.

Beautiful Apartment

Beautiful apartment with incredible views over Lake Como

We had such a lovely stay in Loveno, above Menaggio. The apartment is really nice, and very well equipped - including lots of toys for kids. The trattoria round the corner is great too!

A great stay.

The apartment is exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and very well equipped. It was very comfortable and the beds had lovely linen bedding. Severine was very helpful also. The walk into Mennagiio is challenging but rewarding. We are in our 70s and we made it both ways! A really lovely apartment.

Wow! So clean! Great views! Comfy beds. AWESOME

We loved this apartment. Its the cleanest property we have ever stayed at, the communication from the owner was exceptional, and the beds were SO comfy. The view from the balcony which is spacious was fantastic, and although it was a fair walk from the village, it just meant I didn't feel guilty at having pudding. There were a couple of minor downsides: the many keys (main gate, side gate, main door, front door), and the faffy initial gate access. The keysafe is so low that you have to kneel on the ground to access it, and as we arrived in the pitch dark it was an excercise that relied on two of us. Thank goodness it wasn't raining or snowing. The other is we arrived later than expected, the shops were all shut and a pint of milk in the fridge would have been welcome. Other than that, it was perfect and I'd happily recommend it to anyone

Amazing holiday≈artment

Just returned from an amazing holiday staying in a perfect apartment in such a beautiful part of the world.First time in Italy&Lake Como,especially Menaggio was fantastic with such friendly people& it was truly magical.The apartment was exactly as it stated with everything you could wish for and Severine was so helpful,nothing was too much trouble.We never tired of the view&sat relaxing on the balcony most evenings after busy hot days exploring. Didn’t find the Conrad supermarket until end of holiday,it’s by the bus station if it helps future guests which is the opposite side of the town than the Ferry&very cheap.Magnolia restaurant&being able to pop up to the Pizza restaurant for a takeaway was great.Anyone who stays here will be guaranteed to have a great holiday we loved it .

Clean, comfortable apartment with lake view

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with balconies to enjoy the view of the lake. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable seating in living space, excellent tv reception and Creative design features in room. Location in a quiet residential area. A 15 minute walk down using pedestrian roads to centre of Menaggio.

Amazing!

This is an amazing apartment in a beautiful part of the world. The apartment itself has everything you could need during your stay. We arrived after a long car journey and easily found the parking area from the directions sent through in advance. With two tired children we were very grateful to find so many toys to keep them entertained whilst we cooked dinner. There is a restaurant 2 minutes walk around the corner which we had a lovely meal at in the sunshine and catered well for children. The walk into Menaggio was fine (about 20 mins) as long as you don't have a buggy, and then isn't really possible. However, as we had a car we found free parking by the lake each day without much problem. The apartment itself is lovely and exactly as the pictures show. It feels so spacious and the views are something we didn't ever tire of. We made the most of them by having lunch and dinner on the balcony quite often. Severine was a perfect host; providing lots of information before we arrived, checking everything was ok and responding to any questions quickly. Can't recommend this place enough and we cannot wait until we come again.

Great apartment

Very tastefully decorated spacious apartment. It is very well equipped (although adding an iron and dryer would complete it). Lovely view across Lake (you can see Bellagio across the lake). Ideal base to explore rest of Lake. Internet TV came in handy for our wet days in! Restaurant within 2mins walk, where you also buy pizzas to take-away. Apartment is less than 5min drive from centre of Menaggio.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung Comer See

Sehr schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung in Menaggio. Die Wohnung liegt oberhalb des Ortes mit schöner Aussicht in guter Lage. Sehr praktisch ist auch die Garage für das Auto. Zwei Fahrräder passen auch noch rein. (Kleiner Hinweis: Die Mieterin im EG mag es nicht, wenn man barfuss in der Wohnung läuft)

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung oberhalb von Menaggio mit Ausblick auf den Comer See

Die Ferienwohnung war genau wie beschrieben. Sie befindet sich in Loveno am Hang in ruhiger Lage etwas außerhalb von Menaggio. Mal eben schnell zu Fuß in die Stadt ist daher nicht, da der Rückweg doch deutlich anstrengender ist als der Hinweg. Wir waren zu zweit hier und haben besonders das Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf den See sehr genossen. Die Küche ist richtig gut ausgestattet, es sind auch Gewürze vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Dank detailierter Wegbeschreibung war es auch leicht zu finden. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war ebenfalls top!

Leuk zeer compleet appartement

Wij hebben een zeer fijne vakantie gehad. Appartement was zeer schoon en compleet. Ook redelijk dichtbij het centrum, 15 min lopen. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt direct vanuit huis. Uitzicht was prachtig over het Comomeer. Een aanrader!!

Sehr saubere Wohnung die keine Wünsche übrig lässt

Wir haben eine sehr saubere Wohnung vorgefunden. Die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch der Inhalt der Küchenschränke ist sehr ordentlich und auch sehr großzügig ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir können diese Wohnung zu 100 % weiter empfehlen!

fantastic accomodation

From start to finish we were well helped by the owner of this accommodation. Everything was supplied from A to Z, leaving few questions. On arrival the apartment was clean and everything was there. We enjoyed a very nice holiday here as a family and will certainly consider staying again.

Alles Bestens. Viel Platz für eine 4 köpfige Familie. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zum Zentrum von Menaggio sind es ca 20 min zu Fuß stramm bergab. Alles etwas steiler am Comer See 😀

Eine schöne Unterkunft macht den halben Urlaub aus.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war excellent. Wir haben viele Tipps bekommen um einen schönen Urlaub zu erleben und auch zu genießen. Die Wohnung selbst ist ruhig gelegen und ist trotz einer kleinen Wanderung auf einen Berg unweit vom Zentrum. Der Anstieg zur Wohnung haben wir gern in Kauf genommen. Schließlich haben wir Urlaub und somit auch Zeit. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung is sehr gut. Alles, was man braucht um sich selbst ein Essen oder Getränke zuzubereiten ist vorhanden. Die Betten waren zwar etwas weich, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Der Ausblick von den beiden Balkonen ist hervorragend. Alles in Allem, die Unterkunft kann man wirklich empfehlen, als auch den Gastgeber. Danke nochmals für den schönen Urlaub!
