This home Sleeps 17 and is located at 15400 s 3566 rd Eckerman mi - just 6.4 outside of Trout Lake. Now has WiFi available .
About a half mile back in the woods - diamond trails actually cross our driveway ! ( Photo provided ) Atv / side by sides welcome !
(Located right next door to our smaller Deerfoot cabin ! Renting both is an option for larger parties ! )
But could also be rented by other guests.

We were in the area for a wedding, the house was nice. I would rates the beds as poor. The furniture in the living room was not comfortable. I have never been asked to strip the bedding and carry downstairs. I would not recommend this property. Grossly overpriced for the furnishings

Perfect place to stay in the area

Cleanliness was very noticeable and great amenities as well. Family trip with 6 adults and had everything we needed. Having our two dogs with us was a nice bonus. Well set up for dogs and they even have dog bowls ready when you check in for the pups. Highly recommended! Remote location but easy to find and what we needed for this trip. The game room was a nice added touch plus the big property outside was just great to have!

Great Gathering Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Deerfoot lodge! Communication was great throughout the stay and the cabin was like a home away from home with amenities/items. Truly a tranquil spot to visit with awesome hosts.

Beautiful home, spacious and fits a large party. We had 4 adults, 7 kids and a baby and it was veru comfortable and enjoyable to stay there. Great community and accommodations

Wonderful home

Our family got together for our annual trip at this house and it fit us just right. It was roomy and had great amenities. We used the grill each night for easy cooking. The fire pit was delightful in the evenings and it was so convenient to have wood available for purchase. The towels were a nice soft touch. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great family vacation spot!

The home is in a great private area! It was stocked up with all the essentials we needed! The bedrooms fit everyone well and there was so much to do when we got rained in. We loved the game room and games available for us to use! The hosts were super helpful and responsive when we had concerns or questions!

Family Vacation

The entire family had a great time. The house had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the humming birds and we had a late night visit from a very large raccoon. The game room was a nice bonus for the kids. Close to Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend staying there.

Great for Family Vacation

We wanted a place so the kids could bond … this was the perfect place. Lots of space for the kids to run and play outside. Loved being in the middle of no where and disconnected for a few days.

Very nice house

The house, overall, was in great shape. With our 4 kids, we were disappointed with the lack of window coverings. This made it difficult to go to sleep and stay asleep in the morning. Also, the top bunk beds didn't have side rails which made it unsafe for us to allow our kids to sleep up there. The wifi worked well and the house was well-kept. There was plenty of blankets and it was in a central location for our travels.

Great time. I would recommend that you state that a smaller cabin is right next door. This could be used for additional guests or just to let them know that you may not be in the woods alone. Overall a great time and right on the trails.

Great place for kids and adults. The 3 kids (ages 3-9) loved play area under steps, the books . . .

Everything was great except dining at table was limited to 8. Very wonderful space for indoor and outdoor activities. (We had great weather which only made things better.)

We loved our stay at Deerfoot Lodge!

There was so much to do with the foosball, darts, fire pit, horseshoes pits and all the games. The house was amazing and fully stocked with so many essentials. John and Julie were wonderful to work with. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. The place looked exactly like the pictures, although even better, especially outside. It was very well-kept. It was a great location to have for the sightseeing we had planned. A very nice place to come back to every afternoon for an evening of family fun with grilling, s’mores and yard games. We will definitely stay at Deerfoot Lodge again! I highly recommend this rental.

Overwhelming positve experience!

My experience renting this property was absolutely perfect! The host responded quickly to questions I had about the place and area. The place was clean and provided amenities that other renters haven't. We all loved the Smore fixings!! Just a terrific experience and a wonderful place to go with children. We would definitely rent again!
