Everything was amazing nice quiet place for a gateaway however I just wish the boat ramp was lil more better and safer to get off the boat 2 docks were privately owned which was a boomer to get off the boat. However great place 😀

Had a great time. House was super clean. Air worked great and the availability of the boat slip was a bonus. Overall great relaxing weekend!!

Perfect home by the lake!

We had a terrific experience, Kelly was great and the communication was the best we have had to date! The house was clean, property was great, true to listing and it was so close to the lake which made getting the boat in and out of the water a quick process. We will definitely be back!

Second stay at this location.

This is our second time to stay at this house. It’s large enough for our group of 5. The location is great. Just a short walk to a small beach and picnic area. Easy access to the marinas for fishing. Very easy to work with the owner.

Absolute GREAT time

Thank you Kelly, we had a wonderful weekend and cannot wait to come back! The house was clean, comfortable, accommodating, and the lake, beach, and boat ramp were right down the road. We are all already talking about the next trip.

Great place for a relaxing, peaceful vacay!

My husband and I met our godson and his wife here. We had a wonderful time barbecuing on the grill outside and sitting around the fire pit just visiting and relaxing. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, so we all had our own private space. We enjoyed going to the Island View Park just down the road. I recommend staying here if you want to get away for some peace and quiet.

Great Family Getaway

We had a short family get together! The house was perfect for it. Great kitchen and large family room with plenty of seating and enough room for everyone to have their own space. Great outside area pretty close to the lake. Unfortunately due to all the rain lately the lake level was up and the sandy beach was covered up with water. We were able to go a mile down the road and rent a boat to get out on the lake. It was so easy to reserve and Kelly the host was always available for questions it was really a perfect spot for what we needed.

Great place to stay if you bring a boat, boat ramp is close, and there is plenty of parking. Owners were helpful and responsive.

Very rude

We had parked cars at the property for family that stayed other places, to be able to walk to the water witch home is not right in front of the lake you can’t see the water from this home. We also left home not spotless but no trash nothing we stripped all bedding and beds just regular stay mess.. This women called yelling and causing saying we trashed her place because it needed to be mopped and bedding and towels needed To be washed. We did the dishes put them away. Apparently amenities in this stay are not to be used I was hoping when you stay someone where they do this after each stay.

Great fishing cabin!

My party of 9 had a great time fishing lake texoma with a cool place/oasis to return to each day to relax! We had a great time! Highly recommend!

Fun weekend at the lake!

This property did not disappoint! The location and proximity to the lake was awesome. The beach at that spot was too! The house was great for the 5 adults and 3 kids in our family! Loved the comfy king size bed in the master! We had all we needed! We would rent again!

Family fishing week.

The house is in a great location just a short walk to a small sandy beach and a 10 minute drive to the marina for fishing, and the neighborhood was very quiet. There was plenty of space for our party of five. The house was well equipped with everything we needed.

Getaway to see son and grandsons

Loved the location. Easy walking distance to lake with our Labrador and grandsons. We got to play fetch with our dog several times, and play with the grandsons on the beach. The house was perfect, the room setup was exactly what we needed for the adults and kids. Fire pit was awesome, and the grill was fantastic, some of the best burgers and steaks we have made!! The beds were very comfortable and the layout was good so everyone got their privacy if needed. I would totally use again if available for our next trip.

Great Cabin/House by the Lake

This house has everything you need! If you have 2 people like we did or a larger group there's more than enough space for everyone. House is stocked with all the necessary items and more. Huge fire pit in the back yard for everyone to sit around. Very short walk to the lake. Eisenhower park is a short drive away if you are looking to go to the beach or hike a few trails. Kelly was amazing at making sure the house was ready. We would 100% stay here again without a doubt. Thank you so much!!

Great Place

We had a great time! The living room is a perfect size and has good furnishings for gathering and visiting, with visiting grandchildren playing all around us and in the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped and convenient. Everything was clean and well-organized and decorated. Cute beach and lake decor throughout the house. The short walk down the hill (and back UP) to the beach was very nice. We especially enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace -- not many places let you. Also glad our dog was allowed -- there is even a dog bed! The four-stars on accuracy of online listing was due to an error that said there was a fourth bedroom with a fold-out futon. Never existed and the host has corrected the listing. We'll book it again in the future, most likely. God bless everyone who stays here.

Great Christmas

Great communication with host. We were able to check in early without an extra charge, which is nice when you are from out of town. The property was just as shown in the pictures. Nice and roomy and clean. My only negative comment for the price of the property, would be that it wasn’t stocked very well for as many people we had staying for three days, we had to buy toilet paper. And body soap. Be sure to bring bottled water. The water is not drinkable. My grandchildren were afraid to stay in the bunk room because the shutters didn’t pull down. But we had a great time. And at Christmas time the Christmas tree that was provided by the host was a big plus. It was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend the property.

Perfect Getaway - excellent host - pet friendly

Everything described about the property is accurate. Easy to get to with plenty of room for a perfect family getaway. With just a short walk, to the lake, you are welcomed by plenty of grass to set up a canopy with plenty of trees for shade. If you prefer to drive, plenty of parking and it's literally 350 yards from the property. The lake is beautiful and is in perfect view from your set up with a beach area to put your chairs right on the water. The sand was soft and the water was a perfect debth for your little ones as well, the adults to enjoy a beautiful time at the lake. Our time there was perfect, no complaints. The house was clean, with plenty of space with the bunk bed room as an added bonus for the kiddos . The host provided everything you would need, definitely a home away from home experience. The huge outside fire pit, BBQ and picnic table was the perfect way to end the day. Also adding we appreciate the host allowing the home to be pet friendly, the added dog bed was welcoming. You couldn't ask for a better host, very quick to respond. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

False presentation of the property! House itself in very poor condition!

If you are looking for a quiet and cabin-ish feel by the lake then this is a great property for you! It did have everything inside that we needed! The inside of the property was very clean! First of all we picked this property specifically based on the presentation and the pictures that we saw. We were told it was 100 yd from the lake which is not true at all. It was actually 300 yards and down a steep hill. You could not see any part of the lake whatsoever! We were under the impression we could walk a very short distance and be on the lake. We brought my elder parents to the property, only to find out we had to drive to the lake every day! Very misleading! Also the boat dock that is in the picture is misleading. You cannot fish off of the boat dock! There is a fence all around it. On another note the bed in the front room we have never seen so high before! If you are a short person or you have any kind of difficulty getting in or out of a bed this will not work for you! We finally found a step in a closet, was the only way to get on the bed. I'm not kidding when I say A HIGH BED!! Once finally in the bed it seemed to be a comfortable bed. Not recommended for short people or elderly people or anyone that has any kind of medical condition that hinders their movements. I want to address going out the back door to the carport. I tripped on the cement. There should be a spray paint line of some kind, to show a person that the flat pavement suddenly comes to an incline! You cannot see it but when you step outside and start to walk it drastically curves up and someone could EASILY fall and get hurt! I would hope this would be addressed on the property. These next items I would hope would be addressed for the kind of money that people are paying to stay here. ALL DOORS stick and are HARD to open and shut! Couple of the doors inside the house you must be very strong. They are not quiet either! Several broken blinds within the house. Kitchen drawers, major issues don't open or close properly. The outside yard is very unkept! Everything is dead old plants and pots throughout the property should be removed that are dead. Run down looking. Outdoor furniture was black with dirt, we had to clean it ourselves! The whole house needed a ton of work, that does NOT show up in the pictures! We were very disappointed from our experience. If we would have known all of this stuff we DEFINITELY would have chosen a different property!
