The space is great, lots of room to relax through the open dining area, living room, and kitchen. Great light and a view of the goats out back. Very neat, bathroom had been cleaned. Easy check in and parking.
The farmhouse was just as cozy and inviting as pictured. It’s rustic charm, open layout, and beautiful natural surroundings make the space feel warm. Hannaford nearby for groceries, 20 mins to downtown Burlington, and plenty of snow activities in the area. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed our weekend getaway here.
This apartment was a great find close to both skiing and Burlington. Cute farmhouse decor, clean, and bright sunny windows to watch nature outside. Host was responsive, friendly, and helpful. Dog friendly stay which is always a plus. Will be back!
Perfect Vermont stay! This spot has everything you need to get stuck in a blizzard from a comfy bed to a table to puzzle at while watching their goats. Jessica & Chad made us feel right at home, and even snowblowed a long trail around their property for us to walk our dog through two feet of snow! Talk about true hospitality. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants to be within 20 mins to Burlington or simply to enjoy some winter farm comfort. Thanks again J & C!
What a charming place! Very peaceful and very clean. Jessica was very accommodating to our early check in since we were on our way to a wedding the same day. Very comfortable bed and very cute layout. We definitely recommend!
This is such a happy, comfortable and relaxing place. It had everything we needed, There are flowers everywhere. We laughed out loud watching the goats play.
We enjoyed our time here. Peaceful setting with beautiful views all around. Fun to look out back and see the goats and chickens! A little more on the rustic side, but we expected that. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and supplies were provided. Everything worked the way it was supposed to. Great base for exploring Lake Champlain Islands. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly when we contacted them. If you’re looking for a country retreat experience, this is it!
This property is clean and cozy. The farm animals are a nice addition. The host has all things you need and more. Loved the fresh flowers and spices. Brought our dog as well and plenty of space to walk him. We will be back!
Super comfy bed!! Great birdwatching!!! Lovely hosts!! Nice size, wonderful sunroom dining area, or sitting in rocking chairs on front porch watching the birds at feeders, just very peaceful. And easy drive to/from UVM albeit 20 minutes.

Very unique farm house experience complete with goats chickens wild flowers bird feeders the host gave us homade applesauce and some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream She had some good suggestions for things to do in the area There is a river across the road and we were able to watch the Crew team from a local school row There were kayaks available as well The only negative was the TV would drop its streaming randomly. The bed was comfortable We would recomend this place if you don’t want cookie cutter hotel rooms and want a bit of farm culture this is it
The farmhouse on the Lamoille river was a relaxing and memorable time for us.
Everything we needed was provided and more.
The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was super comfortable, (we both slept great!), the sunroom looking out over the back gardens had a view of the goat pen and chickens (delightful entertainment for both of us). Our host, Jessica has planted over a dozen different types of sunflowers around the property from large to small, and in a beautiful range of colors. The front view of the river was amazing. All these pastoral characteristics added up to a much appreciated peacefulness which allowed us to decompress and leave refreshed.
We were happy to be able to book Jessica’s place again because we had stayed there before. It is much roomier than having to stay in a hotel room. Quiet but close to Burlington and the islands. Restful area with their goats and chickens. Scenic with a river across the street.
Jessica was a great host. We plan to book again.
Great location with easy access to surrounding attractions
We had a wonderful experience at this farmhouse location with easy access to mutiple surrounding attractions. Jessica greeted us with a smile upon arrival. She and her husband, Chad proved to be a most pleasant and accommodating couple. The rental was dutch clean, and there was plenty of amenities on site. The bed was quite comfortable and the property was quiet. We recommend this rental for anyone interested in visiting the area.

Chad is born and raised in Vermont, I have been here for close to 17 years. We love the property for so many reasons, the tranquility, the landscape, and the beautiful energy that surrounds us. We have recently added goats, ducks and chickens. Our flower and veggie gardens are bountiful. They're all very sweet and quite entertaining. This home is also associated with UVM rowing and local rowers. During the rowing season you will see students and locals out on the river training. We love our home and truly enjoy sharing it with others.
