We had such a nice day in this cozy little place close to town… The owners were terrific and the home is well-maintained… We will look forward to booking again!
We enjoyed our stay. Played lots of darts in the garage enjoyed some R&R with our family. We spend a lot of time in Flag and our favorite coffee spot was a 5 min walk away which was great. Close to Snowbowl and hiking spots. Our daughter will be attending NAU next year and this spot will be great for future stays as it’s a short drive from campus. Definitely will stay here again.
This was a great property to stay in due to the quality of the decor, the attention to detail, and the great location in the city. It is a two bedroom, one bathroom single family residence in a quiet neighborhood. It is apparent that the owner put easily $50k into the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Particularly the kitchen had premium appliances, high value cabinets and high value quartz counters. The living room had comfortable seating for 5, and a wood burning fireplace with wood already cut and waiting to be used. The seats were comfortable, the TV was easy to connect to, and the couch converts to a sofa bed. The bathroom was big enough and you could tell that they made the most of the square footage in that room. The bedrooms were big enough for two sleeping in the beds and others on the floors if need be. The garage was a useful entry point to the house, especially in the winter with snow, there were foam mats down for shoes and snow equipment from the garage to the house. They were thoughtful to put a card table, dart board, and mini bar table in the garage as well as heating and cooling.
The owner was thought in that there were easily 12 towels and nearly that many blankets in the house at different places, as well as robes for the bathroom. The lamps had usb charging ports and it was just obvious that convenience was a goal in the design.
Lastly the location was great in that it was in a quiet neighborhood but only couple hundred yards from a main thorough fare. It was near the north side of town which made it close to the mountain for skiing (10 min), but also close to downtown (5 min). There were 2 to3 restaurants within walking distance and a gas station a quarter of a mile away. There were even two ski rental locations within a half mile.
We liked the location and would consider coming back for future trips.
