Beautiful views & location and that’s about it.
This was our 6th visit to La Quinta resort but 1st time in this unit. It was pretty updated- except for a shredded outdoor chair and could use some new drapes in the living area. Upon arrival it was 100 degrees and stuffy with absolutely no directions as how to turn on the AC. After several attempts to contact California Lifestyle we finally started just pushing buttons on anything we could find. They eventually responded that they needed to turn the unit on remotely. Disappointed since we arrived 2 hours after we were supposed to. A couple hours later we were unable to open the sofa bed. It was absolutely stuck and smelled awful- as though the couch has never been cleaned. We received zero response from those texts and our daughter had to just sleep on the couch. That issue was not fixed until noon the next day when they responded and sent someone. But she had a very hard time with the zipper as well. So needless to say it was a one bed unit that night even though we paid for the sofa bed. Lastly we were watching the NCAA games and the tv went out. Literally switching to Samsung plus (?) which doesn’t seem to have live tv let alone ESPN. After multiple attempts to fix that ourselves I texted. Never received a response back. But mysteriously the tv started working again 2 days later. Also it isn’t advertised that this unit is above a 5 car garage. So you will definitely be woken up early by those coming and going and locking their cars.
