We had a lovely time at Tranquility. The house and property were gorgeous and so relaxing. The home was very spacious with plenty of room for the 8 of us to gather or have our own space. There were vases of fresh cut flowers which felt like such a personal touch. Watching the sunrise and sunset on the dock was truly memorable. We will be back!
We fell in love with the house and grounds. 3 generations enjoyed exploring, climbing, swimming off the dock, searching for beach glass, bocce ball, croquet, and just quiet walks and enjoying the views. The house is spectacular and very comfortable. We enjoyed Acadia and Bar Harbor but we were always happy to be back “home”.
We truly loved our stay at this beautiful home! It's spacious, clean, full of natural light, modern kitchen and bathrooms and fresh cut flowers! There were 6 of us and we all had our "space" when we needed it and plenty of gathering areas when we wanted it. I loved walking the grounds with my dog early in the morning and enjoying my coffee while gazing at the water views!
The house was close enough to ride our bikes into Acadia, but a bit far to ride into town. Lee was very helpful about giving us parking tips and a tarp in order to enjoy the amazing Bar Harbor July 4th fireworks!
Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us!
This property is outstanding. The house is so beautiful and luxurious but also so comfortable and homey. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen appointed perfectly, and the seating areas all facing walls of windows overlooking the beautiful grounds and views. There are so many places on the property that show that someone has taken time to make a thoughtful and special decision. The animal totem pole, the Buddha zen garden, the benches, and other outdoor perches. The shoreline spaces are breathtaking. On our visit we saw seals, turkey, deer, coyotes, birds and all kinds of fish. We absolutely loved our stay. Who needs Acadia Park when you have this property as your backyard. Truthfully, we enjoyed our time on the property as much as in the Parl itself.
