Location of cabin was perfect- 10 minute drive to Jasper and loads of hiking trails nearby. View from cabin is beautiful and a great way to start and stop the day. We were a family of four plus a dog and the cabin fit our needs perfectly. We chose to use Jasper amenities for meals which were delicious, but the cabin does have a kitchen that could be used if you wanted to bring food in. Can’t recommend this cabin enough!
Perfect vacation for our family of 3 & 2 fur babies
It took me some time to find the right words without making this 12 paragraphs long. We received such a generous warm welcoming with incredible hospitality that made our stay magical. We’re beyond grateful for having the opportunity to stay in such a lovely home. Lots of effort in attention to detail was put into this home. Being allowed to have our fur babies with us was such a blessing. Our expectations were blown out the park. We were super lucky to go through a perfect snowstorm in a perfect place. We can’t thank yall enough for quickly answering all questions, checking on us to make sure we were ok, providing us help and offering us extra help. We can't wait to come back one day.
This was a lovely spot for our long weekend to watch the eclipse. The back deck is a great place to hang out and the view is incredible. We cooked and grilled and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fire pit was fun and the jetted tub was heavenly. Thanks for sharing this great spot with us!
A beautiful home with very nice decor and furniture. House was well stocked, the view was amazing and the owners were so kind! We will absolutely go back!
Amazing property...even nicer than the photos. Very clean & comfortable...the host thought of everything! Unfortunately, we had fog & rain most of our stay in Jasper but enjoyed a few open glimpses of the beautiful canyon which was beautiful.
Highly recommend & would book again!
Satisfied beyond expectations. The location and view were excellent, the accommodations were extremely satisfying, and communication and customer service were exceptional.
Centrally located for the fall foliage and waterfalls tours. I did not have to use any of the extras I brought as there were several floor fans, hairdryers, coffee/creamers, you name it, Karla thought about it and provided it.
Nothing was broken as is the case with several VRBOs I’ve stayed at before. We had one minor issue and not 10 minutes after emailing Karla about it, she resolved the issue!
We stayed at another VRBO the second half of the week in another region of Arkansas, and upon arrival my mother said, “boy, the previous place ruined me for this place. Look at all the broken items here and the lack of basics/extras.”
I will most definitely be staying here on future Arkansas trips.
We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Bluff. The home was very clean, well-decorated, comfortable, and in a great location for hiking. We loved the view over the Arkansas Grand Canyon, especially sunrise each morning. The back deck was a great place for afternoon happy hour and provided a great place for star gazing too! Other positives include: comfy king bed, nice warm shower with good pressure, jacuzzi with a view, pet friendly, and cooking meals using the well-equipped kitchen and gas grill. Karla and her husband were great hosts! We would definitely stay in one of their homes again!
Beds very comfortable, very clean, decor was nice and homey, the albums and record player was a nice addition. Everything was as advertised we really enjoyed staying.
We loved everything about our stay at this cabin! The views are completely amazing and the cabin is decorated beautifully. Everything we needed was right there. We will definitely return.
The property is in a great location with beautiful views. Located just off highway 7 it's very easy to access. And it is sandwiched in between buffalo river national park and ozark highlands forest area so there was great access to hiking. Also, the house was updated and in great shape. Overall a very good experience.
Karla has beautifully decorated this lovely cabin overlooking the "Grand Canyon of Arkansas" with tasteful art and other decorations. The electric fireplace plus the wood-burning fireplace are very nice additions. We didn't try out the Jacuzzi tub, but I'm sure it would be wonderful.
This cabin might not be suitable for folks with walking issues since you will have stairs to negotiate. But, it's worth it!
Perfect spot for our motorcycle trip. Right on The scenic byway and the sunrise view is just breath taking! One of the nicest cabins we have stayed in. Karla was great to work with and got right back to us with any questions we had.
Enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the most gorgeous view. Cabin has been updated beautifully. Very clean. Host was attentive and gracious. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
I know everyone has gone on about the amazing view, and how updated and beautiful everything inside is … (I totally agree) I am going to tell you all the little things no one else has. I knew when I saw the waterfalls of Arkansas book (confused me because I had not unpacked mine yet) that I was in a great place!
The sign. We rent a lot of cabins and come in late at night. It is hard sometimes to find the places we stay. There was a huge sign, well lit, showing you that you were are there.
If you are an avid biker, or have a vehicle that is not 4x4, the drive is right on the highway.
The bed… OMG I literally took the sheets off to see what type of mattress it was. Best nights sleep in a while. Bedding was comfy!! And there was a plug in fan in the bedroom which I always forget to pack and end up buying a new one.
Forgot fighting your family over the mini bottles of shampoo. There are wonderful big containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Washer / dryer with laundry soap (we hike waterfalls, we are filthy)
The jacuzzi tub was amazing and they actually have a hot water heater large enough to fill it and other people can shower (we have boiled a lot of water for the tubs at other places) and it was clean and didn’t have the normal mold and water mildew in the bathroom.
USB charging ports, both side of the bed. Someone finally understands how important that is.
There was not a 10 page manual on rules.
She answered messages we had quickly,.
Great Wi-F and cable in case you are rained in.
This was everything I could ask for in a place to stay. I want to give it great reviews, I also want to keep it my secret ! I This was best house rental I have ever stayed at.
