Welcome to this mountain gem, or as we like to call it, Hi Meadow Haven! A perfect escape with spectacular mountain views. A master balcony, 2 decks and a patio give plenty of room to enjoy the stunning views and the beauty of Colorado. Easy access to Hwy 285, Staunton State Park, Red Rocks Amphitheater, multiple wedding venues and every imaginable outdoor activity within minutes. Less than an hr to Denver and 1.5 hrs to world class skiing. A perfect breath of fresh air away from the daily grind!

This house has a very open layout with plenty of natural light. Great for a weekend away with friends, or even a family vacation to explore beautiful CO. Enough space to sleep 6 comfortably with room to relax and unwind. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck with the grill or cook a meal for family and friends in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you should need! Take in the views outside on our cozy patio or sip some morning coffee on one of the mountain facing decks.

This home is around the corner from multiple wedding venues:
<10 minutes to Deer Creek Valley Ranch
<15 minutes to Deer Creek Mountain Camp
<20 minutes to Mountain View Ranch

Skiing/Boarding is just 1.5 hours away at Loveland Pass, Winterpark, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin. Another 15-20 minutes to Keystone and Copper.

Comfortable mountain cabin!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Restaurant recommendations were great. Sunny cabin with lots of amenities. Everything you could need was there. Very much enjoyed hanging around the cabin catching up with our adult children who live in Denver area.

Great Mountain Cabin

Enjoyed our stay, cabin was relatively new and had great amenities including 4 decks/balconies. Great views of the mountains nearby. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans and allowed us to cook all our meals there. We will strongly consider another trip.

Delightful mountain getaway!

Private, clean and lovely mountain getaway! The property is just perfect, cozy and relaxing! We loved everything about it! Inside aesthetic was peaceful and inviting, as well as the outside with the fire pit and the hammock-great for taking a nap! Highly recommend and hope to return!

Exactly what I wanted

The property was perfect for our needs. We wanted something that was remote, but close enough to drive around the mountains, and towns in the area. We loved waking up to coffee while sitting on one of the sunny decks and the views. Also, it was an easy (less than 90 minutes) drive from the airport. I would definitely look into staying here again when I am in the area.

Red Rocks Concert and Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, clean, and quiet mountain house tucked away in the woods. Beautiful views from multiple decks. Loved waking up in the morning and watching the deer on and around the property. Host is gracious and easy to contact. I would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay!

We were in Colorado for a family wedding. This cabin was just like home! Confortable beds, fluffy towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. The owners even have extra amenities: shampoo, conditioner, lotion in the bathrooms; coffee,sugar, and popcorn in the kitchen, and games and puzzles in the family room! Beautiful views from all three decks. The owners were easy to contact and even left a personal welcome note. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting a place like home with beauty, peace, quiet, and lots of deer.

The cabin was beautifully decorated. So comfy and cozy. The views of the mountains were stunning. The sun rose over the mountains in the morning. The hosts provided so many small comforts. We felt pampered.

Weekend getaway with friends

We just wanted to get out of the city for a couple days, and this was perfect. We only left the house to talk a walk, and wow, what a view. The rest of the time we spent unwinding and relaxing, and the house was lovely. Clean, spacious, and had all the little extras to make it special.

Truly a cozy mountain getaway!

This was our first trip to Colorado and this cabin was everything we dreamed of! The décor had the most perfect aesthetic. It was fully stocked, clean, and cozy. And the views were absolutely stunning! Stef and Megan went above and beyond by leaving us fresh cookies (delicious!) and left out some treats for our dogs. We also very much appreciated the newly fenced in yard so we could easily let our dogs outside. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy being up in the mountains!

Very peaceful location

Great cabin with beautiful views and bright morning sunshine. Loved the live indoor plants. Not sure I’ve ever stayed at a Vrbo with live plants. The bathrooms had everything you could possibly need and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The fridge had eggs, butter, seltzer waters, half-n-half for your coffee and the owners left us a nice bottle of wine. We didn’t bring our dog but did notice the cabin was very dog friendly with a nicely fenced in yard. If we find ourselves in that area again we will definitely try to rent that cabin and bring our dog next time. Highly recommend.

Great home - clean, amenities like outdoor grill, cooking essentials, movie channels, board games, washer/dryer, dishwasher + loved the homemade choc chip cookies that greeted us! Little ones loved the spaciousness of the main floor and stairs were easily blocked off. Great communication w host. We will stay again when the timing is right.

Best VRBO I've Ever Rented

We had the most wonderful time at Stef and Megan's mountainside home. The property is roomy and gorgeous (much larger than we were expecting based on photos!) with 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and multiple communal spaces - both indoors and out. The thought and amenities in the space are a reflection of their care as gracious hosts (even homemade blondies, dog toys, and a thank you card upon welcome!) Everything was an absolute delight. We were loath to leave and will certainly be back for our next staycation. You and your home are a delight, Stef!

Originally from New York, I am a Colorado wanna be native who is all about getting outside. Whether that is hiking, snowboarding, or exploring this beautiful state's hidden gems, the mountains here just never seem to get old. I am a high school teacher in the suburbs just outside of Denver. I have spent the last 15+ years travelling all over the world, and while doing so, have experienced some amazing short term rentals, so this is my "pay it forward" next chapter. Super excited to host you!
