About this property

Sleeps 45 +RV & tent spots. Great for large family reunions, events, & retreats.

WOW! Check out this newly listed historic courthouse offered for vacation/ business retreats/ family reunion rental. This building is in a small quaint Utah town with great fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, shooting, white water river rafting, and much more! There are nearby restaurants, a grocery store, and an RV park. It is a great building for entertaining in a nice quiet shady family neighborhood. We expect all guests to respect the area.

Fully stocked kitchen has appliances and utensils for the master chef. Prepare a business cocktail party, entertain clients in a warm setting or just prepare a quiet meal. Plenty of room to cater an event.

Laundry room with washer/dryer.

The spacious courthouse boasts 9 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, a full-size kitchen and a large dining room as well as the huge original court room equipped with a giant fireplace, air hockey, Foosball, pool table, TV, movies, and the beautiful, handmade original judge’s bench. Couches, chairs and sleeping mats make this room a big hit. One of the five large walk-in vaults is actually a four bed bunk room kids always love. Perhaps the most interesting room is the library with its loft and 20 foot tall ceilings loaded with books, puzzles and a chess set, plus a beautiful view of Junction’s main street below.

The courthouse has a covered pavilion, expansive lawns and huge trees perfect for outdoor activities and offering plenty of room to park RVs or pitch tents. An outdoor fire pit with wood is provided along with two barbecue grills, plenty of comfortable chairs and picnic benches. Our large toy shed will keep the kids entertained with volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, croquet and other fun. A full-size playground awaits just down the street at the town park. Smoking allowed outside only please.

Great property for a reunion.

We loved the outside spaces around the property. Lots of lawn space for games, volleyball, slip 'n slide. An outside sports shed had many things to most with. Corn hike, badminton, hula hoops, jump ropes. Across a little creek was an area where we played horseshoes and set up other outdoor activities. Inside was spacious. Large kitchen. Two fridges and one freezer. Upstairs was a large game room wit pool, air hockey, big tv and lots of dress up clothes for the kids.

Big Family Reunion

We had a great time at Heritage Courthouse! We had about 30 people there and the fridge and kitchen area was huge. Fun rooms to stay in and big gathering area. Outside was beautiful with a nice pavillion area. We went boating at Piute Lake and tubing down the river (which were both close by) We had a great time Thank you 😊

Perfect family venue

We rented this for my mom's 80th birthday and had a murder mystery masquerade. We set up carnival games for the kids outside. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all had a great time. Some of the mattresses could be updated as they weren't the most comfortable but that is the only thing I would change. Everything else was PERFECT!!!! The host was wonderful and always responded quickly to any question that I had. I would definitely rent this again.

Neat historic building, lots of space for a large group, good time.

I loved the historic building, but I'd guess many of the updates were done in the 1970's, which seemed old in a bad way. Reasonably clean, lots of space for a large group, fun games and activities. I really liked this stay, but it was definitely overpriced for the condition and location.

This place is amazing!

This place was perfect for our super small wedding! I loved it! It’s historical look and feel was great. There’s a lot of room and space for a group of 20-30. Only think I would change are some mattresses in the upstairs room could be swapped. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Junction Courthouse

Everyone enjoyed the Historical building and artifacts. The pavilion provided everything we needed to celebrate grandpa’s 80 birthday. Propane barbecue needs to be replaced. We had fun at the lake and hike to the waterfalls. The gas station attendant across the street was so friendly as was the small market owner. Brenda, our manager was very helpful.

If you need space, this is the place.

The place is big and warm. Our stay was during the week between Christmas and New Year, dead of winter, and the place was very well heated. It's main feature is definitely the space. It accommodates a large group very well. It is clean and comfortable. Not the fanciest place and some things could be fixed or upgraded. For example, one of the doors on the double oven doesn't stay closed, so when we baked some cookies we had to prop a chair under and against the handle to keep it shut.

Lots of room for our group of 40

Really neat piece of history to accommodate our family reunion. Lots of space in the bedrooms for families. The courtroom was a hit with the kids; lots of space and activities for all ages. It would be helpful for renters to know that two of the five bathrooms are in a public place; the other three are attached to bedrooms. There is lots of room outside for activities and the kitchen easily fit us for prep and eating. There wasn’t AT&T cell service at the house or in town, which made it difficult to contact the host. We had two rooms on which the fans were not working. We also couldn’t find any trash bags inside the courthouse. The little grocery store in town had what we needed and was within walking distance for the kids to go get a pop. Overall, it was a great place for our reunion.

We loved it, the gathering areas were perfect

We loved the gathering spaces, the kitchen was great, same with the outdoor gathering areas. We had a wonderful time and totally enjoyed it. Not as many bedrooms as expected and not all the showers worked. Mattresses could also be improved. Overall very satisfying. We would recommend to others.

Very nice! Met our needs quite well as a family.

Brenda---thanks for the Courthouse---it worked out well for our family. We had a wonderful time. A coupel of points as feedback. The breakers went off on us twice as you know--the one that needed to be reset in the basement created the biggest problem since we could not figure it out until we e-mailed you. The bedroom off the kitchen is kind of smelly, probably because of the washer and dryer. Not our favorite room---the couple assigned to that room decided to sleep outside in a tent instead. One more bathroom would have been nice, not a lot you could do, but that was really the only bottleneck we had for showers. The propane in the grill was empty. Is that something that we are responsible for or should it have been full? If it should have been full, how could we get a reimbursement? We paid for a Blue Rhino refill at the gas station for $26.49. I can send the receipt if it is reimbursable. Overall a great place for our family. Thanks!
