Scenic Foothills Hideaway, 1 level, with large backyard, mountain views

Enjoy the serene feeling of having the Chugach Mountains in your backyard and being able to go for hikes right out the back gate. The view of the mountains from the firepit is beautiful, especially at sunset, and the setting is perfect as a home base for all your Alaskan adventures.

During your visit, feel free to enjoy free Wifi, Roku TV, board games, books, popcorn, coffee, and tea.

You will be just around the corner from the Botanical Gardens, hiking, coffee shops, and restaurants.

Recent updates in this 2BD/1BA include new flooring (no carpets!) and all new appliances and furniture.

You will have a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances, pots, pans, a coffee maker, utensils, etc.

You will find keurig coffee pods, tea bags, hot chocolate, creamer packets, basic seasonings, and more in the kitchen cupboards. Help yourself!

Beds and mattresses are brand new and have comfortable memory foam mattresses.

Blackout curtains in both bedrooms.

The alarm clock next to the queen bed has a USB port for charging your phone.

The bathroom has plenty of personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc), a hair dryer, and extra wash clothes and towels.

Full-size washer and dryer in unit with laundry detergent provided.

Coolers and camp chairs are also available for use upon request for all the amazing Alaskan adventures you are bound to have!

This home is a side by side duplex with a large backyard. There's a BBQ grill, fire pit, and picnic table for you to enjoy out back. Head out the back gate to access hiking trails.

There are two small steps up to the porch, but otherwise, it is all easy access with one level and no more stairs.

No check out chores! :) You're on vacation. We don't ask you to do anything except put the house keys back in the lockbox.

Enjoy this soothing and relaxing space to recharge after an exciting day exploring Alaska.

Just Right

We had a short visit but this had everything we needed and more. Communication with the property manager was very easy and they were very accommodating. It was just right for our group. The rental is very homely and cozy. In our down time, my niece enjoyed the toys and roku tv apps that were available. We made some great memories with family here.

Great home base to see Anchorage area

Stayed 3 nights while in the area. Great spot to unwind after long days of driving to see the sights. Comfortable bed and clean, updated accommodations. Very easy to get to. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a home location instead of a hotel.

One night in Anchorage

This is a great place to stay! Very comfortable & has everything you need. The backyard is lovely. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed it!! Highly recommend!! The host is very accommodating!

Nice stay

It was a great stay. Quiet neighborhood in Anchorage. The place was very clean and well equipped. Our host was especially helpful and very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. She picked up a few groceries for us prior to arrival which was super helpful.

Very comfortable

This was a great base of operations for us while we spent a few days on the Anchorage area. It was easy to find, communication with the host was clear and quick, and the unit itself was very comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, perfect size

Great location close to the airport and central Anchorage. Easy access to Seward hwy if you’re wanting to travel to other towns such as Seward, Homer, Portage glacier, etc. Close to flattop mountain if hiking is your thing. House is perfect size for family of 4 with a kitchen to cook and enough room to spread out and the house was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and the host Melissa is amazing. Would definitely book again.

Felt like home

Great , clean house in a great location for state basketball. We enjoyed the warm and comfortable atmosphere. The owner was always available if we had a question, and very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this vrbo!!

Listing was accurate, location just what we wanted. Easy to get downtown and head up north. Used the trail thru the backyard fence to stretch our legs.

By far the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed! Great assortment of kitchen and bath items. Comfortable bed, pillows, blankets and an efficient layout. The owners are next door and very helpful with area suggestions. I was here for business and hope to stay again

Perfect Choice for our Anchorage Visit!

This property is exceptionally clean and well cared for! It was one of the most comfortable VRBO rentals we have booked. We were in Anchorage to visit our daughters family stationed at JBER and this property was very conveniently located to the base. The owners live right next door and quickly responded to our text messages. We will definitely seek to stay there again! Thank you!

Very clean and everything was new

The place was spotless and everything was essentially new. It was also extremely well stocked, better than other vacation rentals we have stayed at. The 2 bedroom/1 bath unit is part of a single family home with no one above or underneath.

The perfect home base for Alaska adventures

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, and perfectly set up; this place had everything we needed. Normally all my teenagers want to do is explore, hike and stay out all day. This was the first time I’ve ever had them asking when we were going back to the VRBO. It’s just so comfortable and relaxing. The backyard is beautiful and inviting and there are mountain views! The mountains are literally at the end of the street. Very Alaska. We wish we could have stayed longer. Check in and check out are 10/10 and the nicest and most helpful host you can get.

Excellent property!

We had a really pleasant stay at the property, the host is very thoughtful in providing all the necessities and the kitchen was fully equipped as well! No issues checking in as the instructions given were very detailed. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely property which feels like home!
