House had a great open floor plan. Good space for get togethers. Location is beautiful and very much what you think about when you picture the Berkshires. On the slightly negative side, Trundle bed in back bedroom not functioning. TV did not have all many stations and hard to figure out. Ice machine not working. The heating system in the winter is uneven in the bedrooms. Overall these were minor inconveniences and this house was the right one for our fun family reunion!!
Beautifully situated on a quiet lane cloaked in golden autumn leaves with a stunning view of a Berkshire autumn landscape is truly peaceful.

Nice place with some quirks
It is in a nice location and had plenty of room for 4 couples on a reunion. There was a lot of strangeness along the way -- the host didn't notice the reservation was made (a couple of months in advance) until the last minute and wasn't responding to communications either from me or from VRBO, there were some basics missed in cleaning before we arrived (e.g., we shouldn't have to wipe down the bathroom sink to get rid of gunk), and there is the complex mystery of the boats that others have commented on. Ultimately, we had a good time on our trip.
The property was in the perfect location for a couple days skiing in the Berkshires. There was privacy for us to enjoy our favorite part of the home, the hot tub. Also plenty of space for parking. The inside was beautiful and more spacious than we expected. Thanks for the great stay!
This is the second time we've stayed at this property, as it's the perfect spot for our group of four couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is great. This house is also very close to Lee, Lenox, and Great Barrington. We love winding down in the hot tub after a long day of skiing.
We had a good time at this property. We definitely took care advantage of the hot tub and the gas fire pit. It ended up raining, so we didn’t get down to the lake. Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Would stay again.
Overall a great property. Spacious with 4 large bedrooms and bathrooms for each guest. Easy access to restaurants and area things to do. Chock full of amenities including a nice hot tub and wine in the fridge! Prompt and easy communication with owner and property manager. Highly recommend! We had a great stay!
Great house for friends and family. Bedrooms are far enough away from the main gathering area, kitchen and living room, to provide privacy and a quiet refuge for the old folks and the baby.
The deck and hot tub area was such a bonus and lots of fun.
Super close to Tanglewoods, restaurants, the outlets and the Big Y.
Very happy with our stay.

group that meets up every year. Love hiking, visiting galleries and concerts
Location of house was fantastic for hiking, tourist attractions and Tanglewood. Disappointed that lake was not as near as advertised and house canoes could not be identified. House is clearly well used and needs a little TLC.
My large family and I (a total of 10) had a wonderful time staying at the Eisler home in Lee, MA. It's a beautiful house, with lots of space, and a terrific location, close to Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge and Great Barrington. The setting is wonderful (including the development) and we enjoyed the great food, the Norman Rockwell Museum, local farms, and several high quality nearby theatre productions. The house was a little far from the lake, but we didn't really use it as a "lake house," and it was pretty rainy. Its a very good location if you want to enjoy and explore the Berkshires.
Hot tub was dirty with a lot of debris. Bathtub and shower bases had mold on them and smelled moldy also. There were delays in being able to utilize the clubhouse (pools and gym) and the boats at the lake a 1/2 mile away. Other than that the rental was well appointed with everything and is situated in a gorgeous location with lots of cultural and outdoor activities nearby. Twin beds in 2 of the 4 rooms were massage/multi position types. Manager and owner nearby were responsive. .
The house was well equipped and very comfortable. But the A/C control was a mystery. It worked well but was often too cold for some. How to adjust was unclear. The proximity to Laurel Lake was not honestly related. It was a drive or long downhill walk. Description of the canoes/kayaks in the supplies materials was completely unrelated to the reality of the storage in the dock area. We could not identify them amongst the many stored boats on the racks. The kitchen was very well stocked with all manner of appliances and serving items. Hot tub was great as was the gas grill. It was quiet and restful ar this location. We had a great werks vacation.

Never Again
The house itself was nicely laid out. However, the house was poorly maintained and in need of a thorough cleaning. When we arrived many of us at about the same time, we were greeted by a seeming crazy person that started screaming at us before we were able to even get out of our cars, that we were parking badly and what would we do if there was an emergency.
We found that a plumber had been working to fix a leak in the shower one of the bedrooms. The plumber got upset and left the shower with a hole on the wall and unusable. The other bathrooms sorely needed maintenance and a thorough cleaning. We found evidence of mold and mildew in the bathrooms.
I cannot tell when the last time garbage had been picked up. It was kept in a shed. Animals had gotten into the shed and created quite a mess.
We have a lot of family in that area and will be back for future visits, but I can promise that I would not consider going back to this house.
