Woodhaven Cabin at Snake Creek with Patios & Fire-pit

For rest and relaxation, hiking, water sports or just great fishing, you can come reset and enjoy Tenkiller! Sit around the secluded fire pit under the cafe lights and roast marshmallows with your friends and family. Enjoy easy boat access at the marina. Numerous hikes, parks, and a wildlife refuge are nearby. Visit Tahlequah to learn about the Cherokee and rich cultural heritage. Hike Greenleaf Park or simply unplug and enjoy Oklahoma's clearest lake in the area known as "Heaven in the Hills."
The space
Our charming cabin was restored with clean minimalism in mind. We were inspired by the small Scandinavian cabins of northern Norway that have useful spaces and modular furniture with vaulted cielings. From the breakfast bar table to the foldable sofa and full length lounge, all our furniture can expand to meet your needs. Fold it away to enjoy the just over 600 sq ft of airy, bright space. The outdoor patios and acreage behind the house are your living room under the stars.

The main room is flooded with natural light from the sliding glass doors that lead you to the patio. Just out back is a short path lit by cafe lights which opens into a large fire pit where you will have seating and privacy.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with blackout treatments and a charging port. While the second bedroom has a cozy bunk with blackout shade.

4. Occupancy: 4 guests and up to 4 vehicles in the driveway
5. No parties

Violation of house rules will result in immediate termination of stay without refund. Please be respectful of our neighbors and limit noise after 10pm.

We stayed this past weekend and we were blown away! The cabin is even more beautiful (and cozy) in person, we especially loved the fire pit! The owners are extremely kind and made us feel very welcomed! It’s perfect for a little weekend getaway, but we definitely plan to stay longer next time!

Very nice newly remodeled cabin

Great hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The cabin is exactly as described and depicted in the photos. Nice neighborhood, close to park area and marina. Very happy with our stay.

Very sweet cabin. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the best view is the cabin itself and the backyard. We enjoyed a campfire. Very nice owners. Highly recommended!

Nice Bungalow

Nice little bungalow perfect size for 2 people. Busier location with lots of evening traffic, not super secluded. Very minimalistic, make sure not to forget to pack extras especially toilet paper and your basic cooking needs. The yard could use a bit more upkeep and a walkway would be a nice addition. Overall it wasn’t terrible just not what we expected for the price point.

Lake house

Cute little cottage near Snake Creek. It was a small, spotlessly clean, well furnished cabin. Autum and David kept in touch and responded promptly to our call about a malfunctioning smoke detector. The place was nicely furnished and several accommodations were included for children. We enjoyed the front porch swing and the hammock. There was also a nice fire pit area. Just be aware that the house requires climbing several rather steep steps.

Lovely cabin

The thoughtfulness of the owners was much appreciated. An overview document was helpful. Then there was a copy of it on the table for easy reference. Light switches were labeled. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and had anything necessary for coffee - great coffee grinder, French press, an automatic coffee pot. We hiked it both Tenkiller and greenleaf state park.

When can I go back?

The home is lovely. It sits on about an acre. Nice lake neighborhood. I stayed midweek and it was a very quiet area. I spent a ton of time on the front porch. My wifi worked well. I have t-mobile and had really good reception. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Nice block out curtains if you want to sleep in. Shower has good water pressure. The hair dryer is in a basket by the washer. The kitchen is very well supplied. Bring your spices and you should be able to cook about anything. The only thing I lacked was steak knives, you can pack those easily. It's probably one of the best supplied kitchens I've had in a rental. I drove 4 minutes to Snake creek camping area and set up a chair to enjoy the lake. The area was very clean. Drove into Vian for Mexican food which was really good. 25 minutes. The owners are easily reached by phone with quick response. Lovely stay.

Great Lake Cabin

The cabin is clean and new. The antique stove adds such a great touch and works like a charm. Short drive to marina or if you feel like getting some exercise it is within walking distance. Easy drive to Gore or Tahlequah for groceries or meals. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect bungalow!

This little home is cozy and clean with everything you need. The bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The living and kitchen was picture perfect. There's also a kids room with fun bunk beds too!
