The Lyons Den cabin is located in Shaver Lake's Prime East Village. Our property is in a very quiet corner of the village & is within walking distance to the Lake & the main village. 10 min walk to lake. 6 minute walk to Shaver Lake Pizza. This cabin is fully stocked with essentials.

We're about 19 miles from China Peak Ski Resort & 45 minutes to McKinley Grove.

If you're a home body, there is ample outdoor space for horseshoes, outdoor dining, fire pit, corn hole or relaxing in the 2 person spa.

Cute cabin in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Lyon’s Den. The cabin is quaint and stocked with all that you need for a stay. The owner was very responsive and quick when we had issues with the internet and had it back in business very quickly. Cabin is in a great neighborhood and within walking distance to the lake, as well as town.

Weekend of relaxation

We needed a weekend away and this place was amazing. The wood burning fireplace was one of the best parts! We played games, had great food, took walks and had lots of laughs. This place is comfortable and cozy. We might need to go back!!

Great mid-week stay Kept cool while it was hot!

We came up at the last minute since it was hot hot hot in the Valley. The air-conditioners in the bedrooms were game changers. Quiet cul-de-sac with very little traffic and a great little, well stocked cabin. Great couple of days to get out on the lake!! Thanks for letting us enjoy the mountains!

Cozy with lots of sleeping space!

This is just a great cabin. It’s amazing how roomy it is in the rooms and still seems to hold this cozy atmosphere. The hosts are very nice and great communicators. You can walk to the lake or the town easily. We will be back!

Great Escape for the Guys

Nice place for us adult men to get away from our families, swim, boat, fish and just decompress. The place was really good for a respectful crew of men just hanging out and enjoying a bit of life. Thank you!

Worst cabin ever

I would not recommend to rent this property. First of all, feels like you're renting a jailhouse. The owner was very rude.And annoying. Everything was old and was falling apart. There were lots of mouse in the house. It was very, very small, not for 8 people Worst cabin experience ever..

Great Get-Away for Thanksgiving Week

Our original dates were ‘stormed out’ last season, but we were able to take advantage of a nice week in Shaver Lake this Nov. The home was great cabin with lots to do as well as lots of hikes for the daytime. Full kitchen to prepare our feast. Used the fireplace each night while we enjoyed family time with games or movies. Enjoyed the spa on the back deck, nice and warm as the temps dropped to 30s. Beds were super comfortable, with plenty of blankets if you needed more warmth. Loved waking up, to the sunshine (in Nov) and going out on the deck to enjoy some coffee, while the family woke on their pace. It was a great place and highly recommended.

Spacious furnished Cabin in Quiet Housing Community

This cabin had all necessary items we needed for our stay. Easy access and entry, although we did have to wait a bit when we realized we hadn't been given the entry code and had to ask. Responses did take a bit to receive when we communicated but the host was very kind and apologetic. The rooms were surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for our children to rest. The Pac Man tabletop game was a hit with the kids. We were pleasantly surprised to find a doggy kennel in the bedroom which we were able to use for our sweet puppy which the owner allowed us to bring into their home. Everything is close by to stroll around the small main Street. We would like to recommend that streaming aligns with what is in the binder and what is on VRBO. We thought we had access to some services and had to clarify to make sure. Luckily, we have our own streaming we pay for and we're able to access it with no problem. It is very peaceful and quiet neighborhood and highly recommend it to larger families.

Home sweet Home

Amazing, beautiful, comfortable, spacious homey cabin. This is my new favorite place, the cabin has the most comfortable beds large areas for gathering and hanging out with family. It is in the perfect location just about a 5-10min walk to the lake. Well stocked when you forget something, it’s there! Thank you! For those you enjoy their TV, Tb in every room and it’s a smart one! All your app’s available. Love it! Thank you

Serene mountain beauty and all the comforts of home.

Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The owners Brandon and Veronica were nothing but gracious and generous. From the evenings around the firepit, the comfy beds, to the kitchen with all the comforts of home, it was a weekend we will not soon forget. It was so cozy and beautiful for all of us. We will definitely be returning for more memorable moments and good times with friends. Thank you Brandon and Veronica for all your hard work in making it a pleasure to be in your lovely mountain home.

Family get together

Enjoyed the large patio and outdoor eating area, fire pit for making s’mores. Corn Cobb toss and just kicking back. Enjoyed picnic down at the lake. Room for everyone. Very enjoyable

Cutest cabin!!! Comfy and cozy

Absolutely loved our stay!!! From the cornhole to the evening dinner on porch to the music availability in the cabin great atmosphere and definitely plan on making this cabin our go to!!!!
