Perfect Weekend in St. Augustine

Three girlfriends and I were in St. Augustine for a wedding and I can't say enough positive things about our stay! Starting from inquiring about booking, Betsy was responsive, friendly, and helpful. There were no questions left unanswered. Checking in was a breeze and we were all so impressed by the beautiful home and the personal touches left for us. There was a welcome basket of snacks and a letter from Betsy. Each room had a basket with tissues, hair ties, shaving kits, toothbrushes, etc. Towels and bath products were also provided. Really you could walk in forgetting all of your amenities and be fine! There was plenty of space for us to spread out (shoutout to the hammock in the backyard). The beautiful kitchen has anything you would need for cooking, though you are SO close to amazing restaurants, we didn't end up spending much time in the kitchen. Truly my only complaint is that we weren't able to stay longer! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Betsy!!

Wonderful House, Prime Location, and an Amazing Host!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Betsy’s VRBO property in St. Augustine. The location is superb—within walking distance of shops and restaurants—making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The house was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with every necessity, along with a few delightful extras for any forgotten items. Betsy’s attention to detail and warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay. When I accidentally left behind some important belongings, she arranged for them to be shipped promptly, which was much appreciated. Additionally, the personal touches such as the complimentary wine, gourmet goodies, and the comprehensive guest information binder truly set this experience apart. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and would gladly return on a future visit.

Amazing host, fantastic location, great house!

So much to tell! From walking in and seeing our names on Board with welcoming candies and snacks, to personal hand written card just for us, to absolutely totally stocked kitchen including coffees… and cold bottles of water ( and not only two but 8!) to all 3 baths stocked with everything you need … Betsy the host goes totally out of her way and you ll find throughout the rooms jewelry holders, make up mirrors ,toothbrush …and many many other little things. … so no worries if you forgot something. The most thoughtful host I ever came upon. Thank you Betsy, no one does it better!

Lovely Christmas holiday

Amazing, charming older home close to downtown. Nicely stocked with personal message at snack bar. Very clean with wonderfully caring host who was easy to contact. Only downside was tight squeeze in back drive way and, as home is close to downtown, had some late night revelers trekking up sidewalk in front of house late at night. Otherwise a fantastic stay!

Exceptional place to stay

The host Betsy said we would have everything we needed and we did!. The home is full of comfort and personality. Everything stocked with lots of extra touches. The outdide space was exceptuonal with a front porch and backyard for relaxing and socializing. Wonderful location just a few blocks from the welcome center. Betsy provided lots of information on what was happening in town and how to get around which made planning easy. Would love to come back and stay again.

Family stay

Home was well equipped and 3 full baths was great for three families. Great quiet location. Lovely backyard with nice lighting for family get together. Kitchen was excellent and very clean. Games, beach towels, snacks and bottle of wine were great surprise. Owners communication was first rate and timely. Only negative was the use of very blue 5000K lights in otherwise beautiful fixtures. Warmer color LEDs would have been more homey. But overall definitely worth more visits.

Girl’s Weekend!

Absolutely perfect weekend! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed! Excellent location for so many fun things to do. We drove because of the chance of rain but could have easily walk to all the places that we wanted to go! Excellent communication with Betsy! Only disappointment was that we could not stay longer!! Will be back!

Beautiful home in a perfect location!

My group of 8 women stayed at the home for a weekend getaway. It was so clean and welcoming, perfect size for our group! It was walking distance to downtown. We didn’t drive all weekend. The small touches within the home was wonderful. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home! We loved our stay there!!

Absolute Perfection!

My family and I took my Mother-in-law to St. Augustine for a long weekend and we couldn’t be happier with this property! We were welcomed with a cheerful sign and a goody basket containing snacks and even a bottle of wine. The location was an easy walking distance to all of the popular spots in the historic area. In fact, we didn’t drive all weekend, only walked. The property was meticulously cared for and absolutely beautiful. We loved the outdoor space providing a nice seating area with beautiful landscaping surrounding us. The rooms were all tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings. As a nice touch, they provided little baskets in the room with essentials in case you forgot anything. We couldn’t have asked for better stay! We will definitely be back!

An absolute gem!

5 star!! Our family of 8 adults have stayed in many vrbo’s all over the US - this one ticks all the boxes. Great location, clean, equipped with everything (truly, everything), and easy check in & out process. The little details set it apart - snacks, toiletries, wine - simply fantastic. Will absolutely stay again and highly recommend!!

We spent 4 days in St. Augustine for our daughter’s 21st birthday. This home was gorgeous, spotless, and had everything you could possibly need, and then some. The home is very close to historic downtown, so no need to even move your vehicle once you arrive, we walked everywhere. We could not have asked for better hosts! Betsy was so easy to get a hold of, and was very prompt with text! I would highly recommend this property, and we would stay here again as well without a doubt.

Great house in a fantastic location

This is a beautiful old house that has been updated recently. The kitchen is very well stocked if you want to cook. But that isn't necessary because you are walking distance from the entire old city and lots of great restaurants. The beds were also very comfortable.

Perfect in Every Way!

We have stayed in dozens of VRBO properties all over the world and this one was truly fantastic. The home is in the perfect location for all sightseeing and enjoying St Augustine. We walked everywhere! We loved the charm of this historic home. It is obviously loved and well cared for. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The back yard is so charming. The kitchen and bathrooms were not only stocked, but there were replacements and extras. Great laundry room-stocked, as well. Very appreciated. I can’t imagine a more perfect home for enjoying St Augustine. We were a family of 5, plus two Aunties and we had plenty of space and privacy.

Best property ever!

This was the absolutely perfect property and location! We are four high school pals - Class of 1962! The home was immaculate. There was a welcome basket with lots of tasty goodies, and a bottle of local wine (delicious) in the refrigerator. Each bedroom had a basket of toiletries and personal care items. The kitchen had all the dishes, glassware and cooking utensils you could possibly need. From the beginning, Betsy was a supremely gracious host. Communicating with her was easy, and her responses were prompt. We all felt she was someone we'd like to have lunch with. And the final touch..."There is nothing you need to do to check out. You're on vacation..."!! Seriously, these were the checkout instructions. A truly awesome place to stay.
