Easily accessible, one bedroom apartment on ground floor. Also includes a queen Murphy bed. Wonderfully equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. Separate dining area. Relax in the excellent living area with leather couch, armchair and recliner while you watch your favorite shows on the 75 inch TV. All tile bathroom with glass door walk-in shower. Enjoy a quick game of chess, get some work done or just relax by the fireplace in the separate sitting area. Pack less and use the deluxe clothes washer and dryer. Incredibly comfortable bedroom with King Bed, full length mirror and TV. Private outdoor spaces includes outdoor dining area and fire pit area.

Mini Vacation

We absolutely loved this place! We cannot say anything negative! It was decorated so nicely and furnished with anything you could need. So cozy and comfortable. The owners were so nice and accommodating. We will certainly go back and highly recommend.

Amazing all around

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Mercer, pictures didnt do it justice. Both of us loved the apartment as it had everything we could need, and our hosts we extremly helpful and very inviting. The fire pit was a great benefit and was a perfect way to end the day. My wife commented that the bed was the most comfotable bed and led to our best nights of sleep. Property was perfectly located for us too, as we were attending a family weddjng in town. Close to the venue, hikes and a short drive to hickory for shopping made it a perfect spot. Only wish we were staying longer, but we will definitly try and visit again! Mr and Mrs Johb Oliveros

Nice apartment

My family were vendors for the Historic Morganton Festival. this home was lovely, and just as described. The owners communicated with us and made sure we had what we needed. They even had homemade zucchini bread waiting, and waters in the refrigerator. I just wish we could have spent more time enjoying the space, but with festival hours it was impossible.

Amazing!

What a beautiful rental! The owners are wonderful people. The 'apartment' was spacious, super clean, and had all the amenities. They have an upper deck, for sharing, that is wonderful. We sat up there during a thunderstorm and it was amazing. We stayed here, on vacation, to visit our kids and grandkids who live in Hickory. It was so easy to get everywhere. It was an easy drive to Charlotte and surrounding areas as well. Valdese has some great eateries as well. The Highlands Butchery Restaurant was our favorite! Every time we come back to North Carolina, this will be our vrbo location! Thank you for such a warm welcome and beautiful apartment.

Valdese trip

Lovely. We would like to be further into the mountains and ion the mountain in a private cabin with a porch. BUT this place was very nice and clean and new. Well stocked. All the bells and whistles. I’d be able to happily live there. Very high tech!

Everything is top notch. Very well appointed and very clean. Furniture, and appliances were beautiful. Very well stocked with supplies and kitchen items. Linens and towels were wonderful. Owner is on site and available.

Great home

The pictures do not showcase how lovely this home is. Kitchen was beautiful. Farmhouse sink that i would live to have in my home. Countertops were exceptionally beautiful. Color selection throught the home was warm, neutral and inviting. King bed was very comfortable. No problems falling asleep. Sitting area was quaint and private. The upper deck was a joy. Highly recommend this rental. Had the opportunity to sit on the upper deck with Jon and Glenda. Wish there was more time to enjoy the conversation. Will definitely request to book again on our next visit to the area. Again, highly recommend this listing. Perfect rental.

The best VRBO

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful

This apartment is the best… better than home! Everything was clean and neat - and The Blue Ridge Mountains were remarkable. Our host made sure we were comfortable… we will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. My wife of nearly 48 years was at home in the kitchen - we had everything we needed, and then some. Thank you John & Glenda!

Fabulous Valdese apartment

Outstanding place ! From the moment we drove up, we loved it . The apartment was super clean a neat , but also. Cozy and quiet. The TV monitor was the biggest I have ever seen. Very good for college football watching . There is also a huge deck that is like a tree house . We would highly recommend John’s place. And his son has a great restaurant in downtown Valdese !

VERY nice Apartment!

Spacious, fresh, newly decorated, fireplace, beautiful kitchen, huge bed, outdoor fireplace, covered deck upstairs, quiet street, wonderful hosts, lots of thoughtful extras! A great place to escape to.
