Everything went okay. The couch downstairs was badly broken. There were not any lights outside besides the ones on the wood dock leading to the front door making it was to dark for us to use the hot tub or the fire pit. The amount of cob webs covering both sliding doors prevented us from being able to use the balcony or patio. The upstairs was very hot and we were told not to put the AC units below 73 degrees. So sleeping was a bit hard.

The property is not friendly to many outside of younf couples. Is not noted the fire pit snd hot tub are community shares untik after booking confirmed. Not unlimited water which fills tub about third full and is an actual dump site next to property so have to close blinds half way to not notice.

Quite Getaway

Overall had a great trip! We wanted a quite place to stay while being able to relax from our everyday life! Wanted to list our pros and cons since there were not many reviews before we went. These cons wouldn’t stop us from staying here again! Pros- Clean, quite and great place to relax Cons- Property was right next to scrap yard, not enough hot water (couldn’t fill tub past legs and had to take a quick shower), downstairs was super cold (didn’t seem like the floor was insulated properly)

Exactly what we needed

This property is exactly what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway. Adequate kitchen to make a nice meal for 2. Everything is on hand you might need to do that. Nice views! Comfortable bed but the pillows were a bit too bulky for our liking. Soaker tub was really nice; just be mindful there isn’t enough hot water to fill it all the way but definitely full enough. Ownership/property management was very accommodating and accessible for the minor things we had issues with during our stay. Very quick to respond. The location is nice too. About a 20 minute drive to the Bagnell Dam strip and nice restaurants a little further down the road. We will definitely be back in the future!

Not what we expected…..

You were fully exposed to the living room while showering…. No door to sink / bathing area. Full sized glass between living room and shower- no curtain. Regardless of which level of the deck you were on, there was no view of the lake. I had issues with lower A/C unit….. called the mgmt company listed, but nobody answered- nobody available to talk to over the weekend. We also had tv issues and couldn’t find the router to reset as instructed on the tv….. it was clean and cozy, but overall- quite disappointed.

Thank you for giving us feed back we appreciate it. The listing is exactly how they are pictured and in person. Please be sure to look at all pictures so you’re aware of this. We have other units that have doors between the sinks and the showers if that’s something you wanted! We also never received a missed call/voicemail or text from you about these issues otherwise we would have been right over since we only live 15 min from the property! We also didn’t receive a message in the VRBO app neither!! Thank you for staying and safe travels back home!!

Excellent and adorable!

The only thing I would change about this place is maybe trimming down some tree limbs so you can see the view of the lake a little better.
