We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the house and the beach. Watching the tide come in and out was nice, and there was a super-moon which we saw at Nubble light. An excellent trip.
Great location and wonderful accommodations. Hosts were immediately available but we did not need them. Family has been to Maine in the summers a few times but this was easily the best accommodations we’ve had. Hopefully we can come back in the future
This place was perfect in every way. It had everything we needed, it was very clean, the view and access to the beach were amazing. We would go back in an instant! Highly recommend
The property is quaint with breath taking views. We loved drinking tea on the back deck in the morning and wine at night. The beach was just steps away. One of the best vacations!
We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet cozy space. Located close (easy drive) to Ogonquit and York. Perfectly clean, with everything you need. Lovely to watch the tides come in and out from every window. Steps to a pristine classic Maine beach. So many restaurants and interesting sights nearby, we absolutely loved our stay here.
We come to Maine every year and this was our first time staying in Cape Neddick. The location was great for our family with two young children. Being able to walk down to the beach whenever we wanted was awesome. The beach is fun to explore whether it’s low tide or high tide, our kids loved catching crabs. The location was great for us as it was a short drive to all sorts of activities. The house itself is cozy and the owners were really kind!
This was our first time vacationing in the Cape Neddick area and the location of the Guest House was perfect. We had a few things come up during our stay and the owner quickly responded and far exceeded any expectations we had in resolving our concerns. They were extremely prompt and understanding which is rare. We would love to go back again.
Location is ideal. Access to a beach is easy. House is stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfortable & being able to open windows for the ocean breeze was perfect. Beach is quiet, both in people & waves (compared to others in area) which was ideal. We ended up renting paddle boards from local businesses to enjoy.
The only downside and no fault of owners was
being there while neighbors were renovating backyard- learned that City of York noise ordinance is not that strict. No fault of renters just an annoyance during our stay.
We would definitely rent here again.
This is a clean and comfortable home. I would recommend no more than 4 people. Unfortunately there is home construction going on next door which will wake you anywhere from 5:45-6:45 am when crews turn up.
We had a wonderful week stay. Cape Neddick beach just a short stroll over the backyard boardwalk. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the ocean waves. The outside deck offers shady respite during the day. The outside grill was a bonus for grilling summer dinner. Beach views from eat-in kitchen, living room and upstairs bedroom. (We were able to nicely view fireworks at short sands beach from living room balcony deck.). Clean, well maintained property with well equipped kitchen. Would definitely make a return visit.
Beautiful location with outstanding views. There are lovely outdoor seating options that include a fire pit.
Indoors the seating is very limited. The configuration is different than the photo shown. There is now a black leather couch with a large matching ottoman blocking it that makes it a difficult to maneuver around. It wasn't a good match for two elderly people. There were no other chairs in the very small sitting room for a 3rd or 4th adult. This unit seems best suited for 2 adults only.
We had such a wonderful time! The guest house was comfy and just what we needed. Great location, close to everything and the private beach access was awesome.
We stayed at the Guest Quarters at Cape Neddick Beach in August 2022. The location is great, one of the best we've stayed in as it was an easy walk to one of the best beaches in Maine. The house was very nice and provided adequate privacy right in a neighborhood. The owners were open and accommodating. Definitely recommend for a family that wants to be near the beach.
You can't beat the beach access at this property! Great views from the deck looking at Cape Neddick beach. Just a short drive to Short Sands beach where there are some nice restaurants and little shops. Only negative is the air flow in the unit is rather low so it can be a little stale and hot. Had a great week there and hope to go back.
The house is within walking distance of the beach. Perfect for all ages but especially for our small children and dog. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
