A super nice cozy log cabin located only 6 miles from Mount Airy and the Andy Griffith Museum. It is sitting on a little farm. Miniature donkeys and pygora goats are on surrounding property. We always provide orange juice, milk, breakfast bread or muffins, with a little bag of candy from Opie's Candy Shop. We are sometimes able to provide fresh eggs when our chickens are laying well. We are pet friendly.

A Great Respite!

Our cabin was as they said-clean and cute with pretty landscaping. Randy and Kim were very personable; and of course, the animals were so enjoyable. A nice place to get away from it all.

Great Little Gem!

This charming little cabin and its location are absolutely wonderful! Randy and Kim are fantastic hosts, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mount Airy. This was actually our second time here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Lovely cozy cabin

So enjoyed my stay at the cabin. It is so cozy inside and nestled in such a peaceful setting on a well maintained farm. No detail has been overlooked in the comfort and homey feel of the cabin. I love staying here and will be back soon!

This is not our first time staying at Randy & Kim’s cabin and we are always just so delighted. A beautiful, well-maintained property. We are always made to feel so welcome - the juice, milk, bred & candy are such a thoughtful touch! We loved getting to visit your animal friends and had such a relaxing getaway. Beautiful cabin and very peaceful

Beautiful place, host was extremely nice and had all the comforts of home. We hated leaving and are going to miss Mr. Jingles our new cat friend ♥ that would hang out with us any time we were outside.

A Blessed stay

A wonderful place to stay. It was home away from home, and it had a pet to claim while we were there as a bonus. We love the farm atmosphere.

Randy and Kim Hicks built the cabin in 2006. We have put a lot of love and hard work in the cabin to make it extremely nice, landscaped, and very clean.

It was our dream to have a log cabin so we built it on our farm. We have a lot of people coming through to visit Mount Airy or Mayberry. We have enjoyed meeting the people that have stayed. It has been a blessing to us and the people that have stayed.

This cabin is very peaceful. The animals provide a great atmosphere. You are out of town, but so close to restaurants and shopping areas. You are only about 10 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.
