It truly was the perfect spot with longs peak visible from our deck. The home was comfy ,cozy and well maintained . However there were dust bunnies under the bed and in some corners other than that it was just fine!!
Amazing property!! This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in!! Very spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to Estes Park main shopping district. We will definitely want to stay here again!!
Ada's Cabin was perfect for our stay visiting RMNP and the town of Estes Park. The cabin is well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The hot tube was wonderful after a day of hiking/exploring. We loved that we were within walking distance of town and visited many of the shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!
We came to Colorado this year with our boys. One who had never seen a mountain! Not disappointed! Had an amazing view from every angle and had local wildlife strolling through the yard frequently. Would recommend this spot to anyone. Very convenient to local attractions also.
This is a quant little cabin, which was perfect for.our family. It is conveniently located in Estes Park and within walking distance to downtown. The amenities are on par and the personal hot tub was a bonus on the long hikes through the Rocky Mountains. The only problem we had wss the mattress in the masterbedroon was a little uncomfortable.
Beautiful cabin with updated appliances, which was important since my husband and I cooked/ate in a lot. The location was convenient—only a 5 minute walk down the stairs outside into downtown Estes. The private hot tub on the back deck was a lovely perk. Only thing I’ll say is that I noticed some mold in the shower, and someone left a filthy bath mat hanging over it. Luckily I was able to wash it, but it was still gross. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again.
If you have not seen the cabins in Estes you might be disappointed in how dated the cabin is. But we were mostly there for the location and the hot tub. The description says downtown but it doesn’t list it as up on a hill. One member of our party has ankle issues and was not able to hike down the stairs and back up to downtown. So we still had to drive down.
Then the hot tub would not keep a hot temperature above 84-86 when in it. It also got super foamy with the jets on. Like a bubble bath. So the chemicals were way off. I tried to get a hold of the host but no response. Finally I got a hold of Mark on the phone but he said he didn’t think he could get anyone out on a Saturday. But I never heard back from him.
The couch is super uncomfortable and feels like it’s broken. The lightbulbs in all the rooms are wonky. Some are like spot lights and some are so dim you can’t barely see.
Luckily the beds were comfortable but that is about it.
Estes Park is very small which I liked. I could see the mountains from my cabin.
Everything went well. Small older cabin, very cozy. Very nice upgrades appliances, hot tub, washer and dryer. I loved where it airs great spot. The price is very fair. The history of these cabins was very interesting. Made me appreciate them even more.
We all found the property to be very clean and charming. The twin beds in one room were pushed together to create a large bed for one couple. The hot tub out on the deck was fantastic. Love you! This place is very very close to the festival. We could almost have walked there if we had wanted to. Beds are very very comfortable! Kitchen adequately stocked. I would definitely stay here again!!
The cabin was warm and cozy, the hot tub had great view of the mountains and only STEPS away to downtown Estes. If you want to watch tv on a rainy night, bring a book. The WIFI and internet service for tv was so slow you couldn't watch anything. But when you're in the mountains you can set on the deck and take in the beauty.

About the host
Hosted by Mark
I have been coming to Estes Park since I was 3. I was blessed to have my Great great Grandfather buy some land so he and his 4 children could build these cabins. Some got out of the family, but we were fortunate to be able to purchase them back. This has been a family tradition for over 100 years. I enjoy hiking and I am still finding new places to explore. We also have a vacation rental in Tucson, AZ and Cody, WY. So we are starting new family traditions and memories. We hope you can build beautiful memories here, as well.
What makes this property unique
This spot is very special. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with views of Longs Peak and the range. But you can park your vehicle and walk down our private steps to the center of town and not fight the traffic. These cabins sit up on a hill overlooking the town and all the surrounding mountains. Sometimes you can hear the live music coming from the downtown.
