Was a great stay experience staying here Brenda and her husband were very welcoming and would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area
We appreciate the hospitality. The place was great for our group of 4. One of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed at. Beds were also very comfortable. I’d recommend staying here and would come back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, being central to all of our planned activities. When we weren’t out, we loved relaxing with a cup of coffee by the creek. The place was stocked with whatever we needed, and the TVs were a plus. After a long day with the kids out in nature, we relaxed as a family to a movie or two. Brenda, the host, was very welcoming to our family and incredibly helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.
Brenda and Mick were great hosts!! They made the process easy and enjoyable. They are great people and we can’t thank them enough!! If/when we come back to hatfield we will definitely be staying with them again!

Very clean and over and above host service. Will be back.
Brenda and her family were wonderful hosts to our riding group! They were friendly and accommodating, and their house was well-equipped and conveniently-located. I've never had a warmer welcome at any other vacation rental property. We're definitely planning to return!
Everything was as described or better. Beautiful property and view. Brenda is an amazing host and we would definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful country setting. The fire pit. Rocking chairs, horse shoe pit and picnic area were fantastic.
We were planning a special trip to take our 88-year old Dad to visit his last remaining sibling in Logan, Wva. We stumbled upon this house and couldn't have hit a better jackpot! with 4 adults, we contemplated 2 hotel rooms, but this house was by far more comfortable and economic! From the time I inquired about Dad's medical needs to after checkout, the interactions were top-notch and beyond expectations.
We all plan to bring our own family's back now that we know we have a comfortable place to stay in the region we so dearly love.
From the initial phone call immediately after booking until the text message on our way home, Brenda was so nice and helpful. The property was very nice and perfect for our trip down to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails. Bearwallow trail is easily accessed by a connector trail. The connector trail is 1.5 miles down the approved atv road, super convenient. Plenty of parking for the two trucks and two trailers we had. The house was very clean and well supplied for our stay. Overall, the best VRBO we've stayed at in WV! If you're looking to ride Bearwallow, don't hesitate to stay here. You will not be disappointed! PS- the double chocolate cake was great to have as desert every night! Thanks again for everything!
Perfect Place for our little Graduation Slumberparty
The property is amazing. The AC works fantastic and will have you snuggling in the covers. The kitchen is so fully equipped it even has a fantastic air fryer and the grill was easy to use. The water was always hot despite the large number of ppl we had showering. The fire pit was stocked and ready to use and there was so many towels and linens available you never had to worry. Also the washing machine is by far the most fascinating thing I’ve seen. There are 2 giant tvs that leave you thinking you are in a theater. And the porch! It’s magnificent with plenty of places to sit and rock and drink that coffee or lemonade. The owner was a sweetheart and checked on us daily through text to make sure we had what we needed. It’s a perfect place to get away. Lots of room, with super comfortable beds. I highly recommend this place!!!
This property was very nice, pictures do not show much positive. it is an older property but, there is A TON of room for parking and space in the house—- huge porch. Grill onsite for use as well. it also has a fire pit with tons of wood for your use. Probably 30 chairs for everyone to sit. property is also clean, and quiet. We had a 36’ bumper pull trailer and we got it in and out—it was tight. Host’s are super friendly and super nice.
