This home is anything but Rustic, you feel like you're living in the tree tops in this beautfully remodeled home! High on a magnificent dune in the quiet lakeside neighborhood of Shorewood Hills in Sawyer, MI, this spacious, two story home offers a quiet and comfortable atmosphere for your get away.

Located on this upper level are the main living area and the master bedroom. Upon entry guests are welcomed by a large entryway with hooks for coats, benches to sit and remove their outerwear. To the left is a wonderful screened in deck with comfortable wicker seating and a partial view of the lake. To the right of the entryway lie the spacious open concept living area with vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams. The living room is furnished with a large comfortable sectional and flat screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with high end stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space including a breakfast bar. The dining area has a beautiful solid wood farmers table that seats eight. Adjacent to the kitchen/dining area is a cozy sitting area situated around the fireplace. Also on this level is a roomy master bedroom with a king bed. Monica started North Star Properties with one goal. To better serve the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan Area with a concierge service mentality for short term rentals. From the North suburbs of Detroit she was bred to be in the real estate industry. Both of her parents were entrepreneurs. She watched as her father built Gauthier Corporation, a very successful construction company, which is still running as strong as ever. Her mother started a cleaning company that meticulously made sure every home shined like the top of the Chrysler building. Working for both of her parents growing up, she understands the drive and passion it takes to achieve success. Prior to starting North Star Properties, she sold real estate on the Northside of Chicago before moving to the Dunes and making a permanent home.
