Very peaceful and private. The street is quite busy and noisy but the view of the stars and the orchestra from the bull frogs around the pond made you forget about that. Was a nice quick get away!
My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and it was quiet and peaceful- it was just the getaway we needed. The bed was comfy, the bathroom and kitchen were clean, Edward was fantastic with communication!! We would definitely stay here again!!The only negative is the ceilings/doorways were very low- my partner is 6’ 3” and hit his head several times. Minus that our stay was wonderful
Overall excellent from the booking to speaking with edward. Everything was awesome! Hope we have the chance to come back! The atv trails on darrel creek road was amazing. Went water crossing! Kids absolutely loved it!. House is beautiful! Well tooken care off! Thank you tremendously for everything!!!!
My best friend and I were planning a girls weekend for Faith Fest and rather than stay in a stuffy hotel room, we opted to find something better.
We found the greatest little place.
Full of charm and so much more.
Thank you Edward, for allowing us the wonderful opportunity to enjoy Millers Creek.
It was truly amazing.

Weekend getaway
Cute little place. Too close to road with fast cars, my opinion. Could have been cleaner. Has plenty of everything for cooking. Very comfortable.
Had a very nice time at the cabin, it was well supplied and recently renovated with AC, a full kitchen and a modern bathroom. There were unfortunately a number of dead bugs and spiderwebs built up on windowsills and walls, but otherwise it was well kept.
Be aware it's a full 45 minute drive into Boone and West Jefferson, but it is quite close to the blue ridge parkway which we thoroughly enjoyed.
This was our second time staying at this adorable cottage. This visit we wandered into West Jefferson and absolutely loved that town. The primary bed is super comfortable and this time we got to enjoy a fire in the wood burning stove. Can't wait to visit again.
Restful stay. Loved the cabin. Beautiful yard. The only problem was the refrigerator was quite dirty, leftover food in the microwave, and the bath towels and washcloths had a sour smell. May I suggest white towels so you can bleach them. Will bring my own towels in the future.
We loved the remote location and the quietness but not too far from the grocery store. It was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again in the future!
The little house was absolutely adorable. Great place for small family. Pet friendly and close to a lot of attractions. We will definitely be back. The property manager was great.
