Was a good stay for the most part. Some near falls on stairway to entrance - some repairs are needed to railing and steps. Had to empty the dishwasher from previous visitors stay and there was some “late night cleaning” that took place around 10:30pm when all were settled into bed to rest for the next day. No instructions were left regarding where to put soiled towels and wash clothes or where to “find” cleaning supplies or trash bags or what was expected regarding so we hope our efforts were respectful. We made sure we left the site as clean as we found it and used very few of the amenities while there. The site was beautifully decorated and the owner replied promptly to questions. It was an enjoyable stay for the most part aside from these few mentions. We would recommend to others.
We stayed in Northern Lights on our way back to the cities from a family trip. It was spotlessly clean, super convenient. Many things within easy walking distance: pizza places, breakfast and Castle Danger Brewery, to name just a few. Beds were comfortable, and though we didn’t cook, it would be an easy kitchen to cook in with plenty of supplies. Next time we need a convenient North Shore stop, we’d stay again!
Best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. A lovely old house converted into a beautifully appointed flat with everything you could possibly want. Decor and appointments top notch, down to the Northern Lights theme with mood lighting and sound machines in each bedroom. Coffee bar was great - beans provided to grind fresh! Couldn’t ask for more.

Two Harbors Getaway
Cute place, good location. ZERO direct communication with host, including passcode for door. If it wasn't for the sweet stranger nearby who had local connections and was willing to make a phone call on our behalf, we would not have been able to get in to the house!
Loved the property's location for restaurants, events, and coffee shops. The layout of the rooms was perfect for our family (two parents, one grandparent, one toddler, and one infant). However, the AC unit is located in the primary bedroom; we needed to leave the door open to that room to cool the other bedrooms. The tower fans helped in each room, but it was hard falling asleep, as it was hot, and returning mid-day in August to a hot house was not ideal.
This is a great location, clean, well stocked, and easy access. Just a head up on a couple things , it is off the Main Street, and therefore very loud in regards to road noise, and also the tenants upstairs if there is someone booked in that one also, clomp clomp clomp, from about 6-11 pm. It does NOT have central air, but rather a larger portable unit in the”master” that really doesn’t reach the rest of the house. Master stayed cool while other 2 bedrooms were almost uncomfortably hot: mini splits would solve this issue. As much as I liked the decor, there was almost too much of it and it made certain areas look cluttered, but maybe because I’m a bit of a minimalist. Overall, I’d stay again, just maybe not in the warmer months, maybe in the fall. It’s definitely worth booking.
Great place to stay, very comfortable and close to shops if that’s what you are looking for. My bed was great. Coffee bar was a big hit with us. Outside steps need some attention, but overall I would stay there again.
The property was nicely appointed and met our needs. Everything was clean and inviting. Enough room for the six of us and having three bedrooms was nice. We were close(walking distance)to a couple restaurants. The only drawback was the traffic noise in the early morning as the house is located along the main street(Highway 61). Not a dealbreaker but noticable. We would stay here again.
We loved our stay here. It was so nice to have everything we needed at the house as far as soap, towels and basic kitchen items. Plenty of room for our group of 5. Great location! The location is on a main road through town so if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring a sound machine or use white noise app. We used one and slept great. We would definitely stay here again!
Nice place to stop and venture out from for activates on the North Shore. Fun details and upgrades tot his VRBO. It was easy to reach and communicate with the owner.
I loved all the small design touches! The more you walk around the more beautiful things you find! I won’t spoil anything, you’ll have to see for yourself ;) It was the perfect space to share a meal and connect then there were comfy places to relax and enough beds for everyone to sleep 10/10 would go here again! It was also right next to agate bay beach perfect location!
A lovely and well restored home. It is actually an apartment in a large Victorian home. I missed that there was only 1 bathroom for the 6 of us (3 couples.) This is common in other places we've stayed, but there wasn't enough room for us all to sit down and eat at the table or to relax in the living room after a day of sight seeing. We would have liked to have more kitchen towels and some hot pads. The coffee bar was superb!

Property was as described with a nice homey feel. Communication was great and we enjoyed our stay,
We were visiting Two Harbors for a wedding weekend. We enjoyed the beautiful property right on the Main Street through town. The weather was perfect, the property was very clean and we enjoyed our down time sitting on the front porch and watching the traffic go by. My only feedback was no closet or dresser in the Master bedroom. I have no problem living out of my suitcase, but it would be nice not to share a closet or dresser with another guest. Next store to the property is a gift shop and Agate shop you don’t want to miss. The Agate shop had so many unique and beautiful displays as well as hand made jewelry. Overall, I highly recommend this fun and relaxing home for a fun getaway to the Northshore.
Overall a great stay. Perfect location to see all the stops of Route 61. Owner was responsive when we had a lighting issue and it was quickly resolved.
Love the added little touches that tied house theme throughout. Love the quality and condition of furniture and accessories. Love the ease of location for exploring n shore.
We had a family group of five adults stay two nights. It was the perfect location to take a day trip inland to Tofte for awesome fall colors. We come back each night to a warm and inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed all the attention to special colored lights that tied into the theme of Northern Lights. There was a great coffee bar in the cute kitchen.
It was very nice and well put together with all the ammenities we could need. The door to get in would be the only thing that I would recommend fixing right away. Also it was a bit last minute notice that the bedroom TV wasn't working. We were out enjoying the sites so that wasn't an issue. All in all it was a great place to stay and we would return again. Thank you

This is a multiplex right in downtown of Two Harbors on the Main Street. There is a few properties also listed on VRBO. I enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean and stylish. The host was responsive. Would recommend if you need a stay around the area.
