You will have the cottage completely to yourself with electronic access and check-in. Enjoy lovely views of trees and trails of the Pogonip hills from your room or the newly developed outdoor patio. The cottage is centrally located close to downtown and near the lively Seabright neighborhood, which is full of great restaurants and boutique shops. Also nearby is the Beach Boardwalk, Yacht Harbor and Seabright beach with beach side dining and a variety of water activities.

Great Location and Super Clean

We loved the cleanliness of the place as well as the location. So close to the boardwalk and the redwoods. Hudson was so sweet and greeted us!

I expected better

Room was small, we had to move furniture around just to walk around the bed. No dresser or closet space for clothes, so had to live out of the suitcase the whole week. The towel ring had fallen off the wall before we got there, the wall was partially repaired, but no place to hang the hand towel. We had to ask for more towels and TP, it's like they didn't know we were going to be there all week. They didn't tell us they had a dog until the day before we arrived; therefore we couldn't get our money back or switch accommodations. I think having a dog on site should be in the listing. Constant road noise. Not a quiet place. Stains on the carpet. The fridge door drags on the carpet, so it doesn't open easily. It literally took two people to open the fridge. The patio was nice. The hosts were responsive. But not worth 200 a night, and definitely won't stay here again.

Perfect!

Very clean and perfect for what we needed. Very close to downtown so ubering was the perfect option. The highlight was the shower’s water pressure it was amazing

The place was immaculate.The bed was comfortable.It was nice that balcony had a Beautiful view of the city would definitely recommend to others that are going to be staying Is a nice little quaint studio apartment.

Deck is nice

Very nice, clean and easy. The deck was nice because I play the guitar and my wife does not want to hear me practice. The deck is a nice second private space with a view.

nice, private feeling stay in Santa Cruz

I really loved the private feel of the room and patio. The space felt bright and pretty clean. I think it could use new carpeting as there were several stains. The shower is pretty bad (way too much pressure for a small shower) but the owner said that he is going to fix that soon. Loved the patio!

Great unique place

Property was very nice and unique. The extra back patio made that overlooked the area mad it special to enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks, or a cup of coffee. And, it was very quiet.

Spontaneous trip

Wonderful Stay!

I spent two nights here while my daughter was visiting a friend at UCSC and the stay was fantastic. Easy check in process, beautiful property, and very cozy rental. The bed was super comfortable and the sound of the rain on the roof was lovely. The view the next day and the sunset once the rain cleared was gorgeous. Also, the proximity to the store (Safeway) was great as I had to buy ice a couple of times (no freezer, just fyi). Not a big deal though. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back! :)

Perfect space for a Santa Cruz visit

This was a very cozy room with a lovely view and amazing outdoor patio (that we didn’t get to enjoy as our stay was too short ;( I hope to stay again next time I’m in SC! It’s exactly as pictured and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You won’t be disappointed : ) Also, it’s a nice quiet location not too far from UCSC, downtown and the beach. (Short drive to each)

Great little escape

Thank you for a great little escape! The room is connected to the owners primary home, but is very private. It was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing patio space!

Great little find

We loved our overnight stay at this property in Capitola the terraced area was fantastic where we watched the most amazing sunset. We also got to see our first hummingbird whilst sitting on the terrace which was just magical. We visited Shadowbrook for dinner and UCSC Arboretum and Botannical gardens which were superb!

Really cute and quaint room

Super quiet, cute, quaint room if you prefer over a hotel. Easy entry, exactly as pictured. Perfect for my sister and I for wedding weekend. Central location, easy to walk to everything, nice neighborhood. Bed was SO comfortable!! Bedding and towels were amazing ! Only negatives, shower pressure is a bit too much and no decaf k cups which really aren’t major complaints, given the rest of the stay was perfect.

Nice and relaxing

My husband and I stayed here for one night after staying in a few different hotels and were so happy with the change of pace with an easy check-in, our own little patio, and a beautiful view. Close to downtown Santa Cruz and the wharf in a nice neighborhood. We would stay here again!

We love the mild coastal climate and endless activities offered by central California. The abundance of fresh healthy foods, fantastic wines, and beautiful coastlines remind us of how special this area is and how lucky we are to live here and visit here.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

The Cabana is a perfect alternative to the common hotel. It has its own private entrance, views, a private patio with seating and shade, and all the same amenities as a hotel and then some. Free parking right in front of the house. Our guests love staying here and appreciate how centrally located the Cabana is, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, hiking, sightseeing and more.

We recently developed a private outdoor seating area and patio that has sweeping views. Its a great place to sip coffee in the morning or watch the sun set over the mountains at the end of the day.
