My Sister in law and I went with daughter in laws. We had a great time. We ate too much, decorated cakes and did Christmas card decorating. It was a very special weekend.
2nd time staying at this cabin. Not as clean this year as last year, but we did let the owner know the issues we had and he said he will address them all. Owner is very kind and was receptive to all we had to say and these are fairly easy fixes so i do believe this to be true. Would definitely stay again and see if the issues are resolved because we love the location of this cabin and all it has to offer. Our family of 4 had a great time.
We were there for our father’s funeral, but being together helped to deal with the moment. The only thing bad to happen was my brother lost his Seiko watch there, and we didn’t have enough time before we had to leave to catch our flights. Everything else was a great time

Rustic, 3rd bedroom not perfect for our group. Loved location and hope to come back in warm weather to enjoy more amenities.
This was a great place for a family vacation. The property manager was very friendly and attentive. He even helped us repair our boat wench! Highly recommended.
Comfortable beds. A lot of towels. Close to the lake. Used trailer attached to golf cart to move kayaks. Big windows to see kids in hot tub and trampoline. Nice fire pit. Pack n play for baby and high chair. Washer dryer and detergent. A lot of movie CD’s. Life preservers for all. Wonderful time!
We had a great time! It is a cute cabin in the woods with access to raccoon lake. It was a quick drive to Turkey Run state park. There were two bedrooms with bunk beds in both rooms. We have three kids and our friends have three kids. It was tight, but doable. We rented the gulf cart and the kids loved it. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a fun family vacation.
Truly a place to escape the stress of busy cities. This property has everything you need to relax and unwind, all you need is good company. A unique aesthetic paired with a cozy and efficient layout results in an experience that I could only sum up as perfect. Long talks by the fire, jamming out in the hot tub, indulging in the theater room, and exploring the nearby trails and lakes; there is no shortage of ways to make memories here. I am very grateful for the experience!
Property was awesome! Has lots of ammenities for all to enjoy. There is something there for every age, kayaks, trampoline, fire pit, hammocks, golf cart "addt fee", hot tub, corn hole, out door spaces to be close or get away,
etc... Very close to raccoon lake and short drive to the park. Highly recommend this cabin if you like the outdoors.
House sleeps a large crowd for a smaller space. Loved our time together as family. Dustin was a great host. Close to shade Park and Turkey Run State Park.
First thing the place smelled real bad 2nd it wasn't clean I had to clean the grill and 3rd when I wasn't there the host/owner would go inside the house that I paid to rent really bad host /owner
Had a great time staying here and utilizing all the property has to offer. Kids really enjoyed the basketball court, trampoline, and (sigh) movie theater room. Excellent location too with tons of outdoor activities to enjoy.
This was a great spot for us to reconnect with old friends and enjoy adult time! The bonfire pit was especially nice! Lake access was close and a great spot on the lake! Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Dustan Ingram
I enjoy woodwork and tinkering around the house. My wife likes to relax and read a book. Together, we love to host. We frequently have family and friends over to enjoy the life that we have built together. We have two elementary school-age friends who are very active. We live right down the road from this cabin and have become very familiar with the surrounding area. Please as us for ideas on how to have fun in the area!
Why they chose this property
My wife and I lived in the suburbs of Indianapolis for 10 years, but both grew up in small towns. We wanted to have a place in a small town by a lake to bring our kids to on the weekend. We stumbled on this property and it needed a lot of work. We worked hard to do the renovations ourselves and we love our little cabin. In 2020, we found ourselves coming out to the cabin more during the shutdown. When school started up in the fall, we decided to stay at the cabin and send our kids to school in Rockville for the year. We fell in love with the area and decided not to move back to the suburbs. We bought property and built our dream house on the lake, but couldn't imagine selling our cabin. We still love to host and are hopeful that other families will enjoy the cabin as much as we have.
What makes this property unique
We live very close to the cabin and love meeting new families. Please feel free to contact us for suggestions.
