Wild Rose Ranch Barndominium - Near Zion & Bryce

The Ranch at Wild Rose Hitchin' Barn Apartment, is nestled between Zion, Bryce and Grand. My 2nd great grandfather was an original settler of this beautiful area. He and his family built a beautiful life in this rugged land, raising livestock and working the soil. We too live and work, much the same as he did on this land. We can't wait to share our life and history with you. Saddle up partner and get on out here to the wild wild west!
The space
The Ranch at Wild Rose Hitchin' Barndominium is a 2,000 square foot apartment over an equipment barn. It has gorgeous views from two large decks to the north and south. Three bedrooms two bath, the apartment sleeps 10 comfortably. Guests will enjoy the use of a full kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen. The large bunk room has a king and queen bed plus seating around a wood burning fireplace.
Other things to note
Please note - there are a number of stairs guests are required to climb, as this is an apartment above a ranch equipment shop. Only guests who are comfortable climbing stairs should book this property.

Unique Utah experience
This a quality place in a one-of-a kind setting. Right on the family ranch in beautiful high country, with animals and wildlife, yet the place is impeccable and clean. Very convenient to Zion and Bryce, and the trip to the parks on hwy 89 is scenic in itself. Harmony was excellent and super responsive. We came for the parks, but staying here really added to the experience.

Lovely!
Perfect located spot for hiking the parks! We loved being able to return at the end of a tiring day and enjoy dinner and drinks watching the animals from the deck. The grill is a great touch annd even better having the option to purchase meat from the farm via Venmo! We appreciated the fire pit as well! We all wanted to take the goat home with us!

Awesome place- location. A few changes to get to supreme.
Quiet, roomy, well equipped place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and very good location for a Zion/ Bryce/ G. Canyon/ Escalante/ Duck Creek-ATV exploring. Friendly farm animals-fresh eggs- views of a working farm- and awesome ‘star-gazing’ at night. A couple improvements- mattress in master bedroom and a couple of other items would have made our stay a slam dunk ‘5’. Owners- operators- responsive!

Quiet and peaceful
Our family of 5 stayed for two nights while we explored Bryce. Although it was about an hour to the Visitor’s Center, the location worked well for us after arriving in Vegas. We spent most of our time away from the house, but the kids enjoyed visiting with the goats while we were there. Checking in and out was easy. No issues.

Great getaway
Perfect location nestled between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Quiet area. Enjoyed watching the mule deer every evening. Everything was just like in the description except gathering eggs from the chickens. We checked every day but there weren't any. One of the owners daughters dropped a dozen off one evening. Had a great time.

Legit Ranch - Beautiful Country
Host was amazing and responded quickly. Ranch is secluded and away from the busy city. No noise or light pollution, just fresh air and bright stars. Kids loved the chickens and wood burning fireplace. We enjoyed setting on the couch in front of the fire as we talked about the adventures of the day. The host family is a gracious and welcoming. You will not find a better place to live the country life hosted by true country family.

Perfect Location between Zion & Bryce Canyon
The unit was in the perfect location for our needs, about 1 hour to Zion and 1 hour to Bryce Canyon. Beds were comfortable. We did encounter a number of dead flies in the back bedroom and many burned out light bulbs throughout. Was a bonus to have a large garage space to park our vehicle.

Piece of Heaven
From the moment we booked the communication was top notch. Any questions we had was answered almost immediately, even when they were on a cattle drive. The property was honestly amazing. The barndominium was perfect for the family of 6 and could hold more. The views from anywhere in the Barndominium were beautiful. The place was welcoming and felt like we were in our home away from home. In the morning we woke up, went to the chicken coup and retrieved 9 fresh eggs for breakfast, truly could not have asked for more. I even ordered steaks from them that were waiting in the fridge when we arrived. Highly recommend this VRBO, Big thank you to Harmony, Cowboy Dustin and the 6 Cowgirls for opening up your home to us and making our stay so memorable.

Perfect respite for Bryce and Zion
We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. The setting on a ranch is beautiful. We loved seeing the chickens, horses and cattle. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Comfortable stay with beautiful views
We were not there much between hiking Bryce and Zion but a very relaxing place to lay your head. Everything was as pictured with everything furnished you may need. Saw many deer on the property with a wonderful view upon awakening. We have never seen so many stars in the night sky. Would definitely return with a larger group when not trying to pack so much into one trip.

Great Stay!
We only stayed one night but it was a very enjoyable experience. We picked up supplies for grilling as there are not many restaurants near by. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare our meal. The views were great.

A place of peace and beauty!
This rental located on the ranch was so well done, and in a great location to visit both Bryce and Zion National Parks. It was a very quiet setting, set back into the beautiful countryside. This rental is decorated beautifully! It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fresh eggs from the nearby chicken coop!

This was one of my favorite houses we have rented. The country home was so tranquil. We really enjoyed communing with nature & with the horses, cows & chickens. I had never gathered fresh eggs before & loved the truly unique experience. The house was spacious for our family. The host family was very kind.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay if you planning a visit to Zion, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon and doing all the great local things in this part of Utah has to offer. For 6 to 8 people, this is the best place.

Cozy comfort and hosts go above and beyond
We had a wonderful time in Utah enjoying Bryce Canyon and Zion. The barndominium was clean, cozy and beautiful. The land was simply magical during a large snow. We actually were snowed in one day with close to 15” and didn’t mind it a bit. Built a fire and enjoyed the splendor. The hosts quickly got the roads plowed and we were back exploring in a day. We will be back!

Lovely accommodations, well stocked and comfortable!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wild Rose Ranch. It was a bit tricky to locate in the dark (we lost cell service possibly due to weather) but that was the only hiccup in an otherwise FABULOUS stay. Everything was well maintained and well stocked. The beds were comfy and we loved walking over to pet the horses a couple mornings. It was snowy during our stay and the use of the garage was awesome. We would highly recommend this for anyone visiting Zion and Bryce as we were. It was nice to be away from the crowds and the drive to both parks was very easy. Thanks for a great holiday!

Visiting National Parks
More than expected. Host went above and beyond to make sure we got to her place. Showed us the property and immediately replied with questions. The place is secluded and quiet but with all the comfort and accommodations needed. Easy little over 1 hour drive North to Bryce Canyon and over 1 hour drive South to Zion. Highly recommend for family or couple retreat.
